This is Getting Scary….

Kim Jong-il is at it again.  Just recently, he has test-fired two more missiles. Now here’s the question.  Why isn’t there anyone stopping him?  While a test missile isn’t scary, a real missile would be a serious danger to this world. If the most of the world condemns North Korea for testing missiles, why don’t they stop them?

More importantly, why don’t WE stop them? The Obama Regime’s passive attitude on our National Defense is starting to scare me.  Please.  We do not need another 9/11 disaster to happen in this country.

Should history repeat itself (and I pray to God that it doesn’t), this problem would be Obama’s, not Bush’s. Isn’t that right, Commander-in-chief?  Command your troops to go after North Korea and disarm their nuclear facilities.  The world doesn’t need any more fear.

Wild Card Friday – Brawl is Driving Me Crazy!

This week for Wild Card Friday,  I will talk about a pastime that a lot of video game fanatics can identify with.  Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with this game, you basically fight, playing as popular characters throughout Nintendo history.  Snake and Sonic, who are not Nintendo characters,  however, are a couple of exceptions.

Why am I talking about Brawl? The sole purpose is that I’m only one sticker away to collecting all 700 stickers.

What are stickers?  Well, they are some of the different items you can collect, along with CD’s and trophies. So far, I have had no luck getting the last sticker.

I have played matches ad infinitum, collecting every sticker, and none of them was the last sticker.  They were all repeats.   Sooner or later, I will get that sticker.

To leave it open for everyone, what is your favorite video game?  If you don’t play video games, what do you like to do in your spare time?  Fire your thoughts and let me know.

Bottom line.  If the last sticker is a playable character,  it’s on.  They’re going to get the living crap beat out of them.  I just hope it isn’t Mario.

America Has Voted!

It is official.  Kris Allen has won American Idol.  Not that I watch the show.  Just something that I thought I should throw out there. With the runner-up Adam Lambert not winning, I’m wondering if we’re going to see anything similar to what happened with Miss California, when she stated her traditional views on marriage.

On the other hand, it’s just a show.  But wasn’t the Miss USA Pageant just a show? Another round of useless bickering, maybe?  Whatever it is, I just hope that I don’t hear anything from Perez Hilton about Idol.  I’ve heard enough.

What Can Replace Google?

Microsoft plans on releasing a new search engine.  The name of their project is “Kumo”, which will may change before they release it.

Having used Google for so long, I would find it hard to switch to a different search engine.  The primary search engines out there are Google and Yahoo.  Shouldn’t that be enough? Microsoft may have something different to offer to the already saturated search engine market.  We’ll see.

More Emissions Standards = More Expensive For Us

California has had its crazy emissions standards for a while now.  It’s now our turn.  With Obama’s plan to set new fuel and emissions standards for cars and trucks, it’s going to cost us more money. Now granted we would save a little oil, but what’s next for the auto industry?

Imagine this scenario.  Obama enforces so much regulation on the auto industry that the only federally approved cars that we are allowed to drive are the ones that we don’t want.  Heck, if we all drive Beetles we would save even more gas.

But how do you get a family of five into a Beetle? Now that scenario is kind of extreme, considering we are not really there yet.  But this is what I fear for the auto industry.  Trucks are fairly popular sellers.  Especially the big trucks.

Instead of passing some stupid emissions standards, let’s continue with developing hybrids, okay?  They use less gas and they have a rechargeable battery. Washington needs to look at some alternatives before making some hasty decisions.  Again. *cough* Hybrids.  Yes, they’re expensive but the price can be brought down, making it better for the consumer to buy.

And if Washington really wants to save on fuel,  they can park their jets, and drive the shorter distances.  I mean, a little road trip wouldn’t hurt, right?

Boldly Going Where No Star Trek Movie Has Gone Before….

With Friday here again, I decided to try something new with this blog.

Every Friday, I will take a detour from the traditional “Politics as Usual”, and will post basically whatever I want.  I call it “Wild Card Friday”.

This week, we are headed to the final frontier,  and we will talk about the Star Trek movie. So far, the movie’s doing stellar, with a worldwide gross of $141.7 million.  With it grossing over $100 million domestically, will it stay number 1?

If you know me, I’m not a big Star Trek fan.  It’s not that I don’t like the franchise.  It’s just that I never actually got into it when I was growing up.  But with Star Trek being this popular right now, I can’t help but talk about it, right?

I am, however, a fan of Star Wars.  Having seen the original movies as a kid and seeing the other 3 movies in the more recent years,  I am way more familiar with the franchise than I am with Star Trek.

Sure, I know a little bit about Captain Kirk,  Scotty, Spock, and Klingons, but that’s about it.

What are your thoughts on this movie?  Do you plan on seeing it, or if you saw it, how was it?  I don’t know if I plan on seeing it, but beam me up your thoughts and let me know.

Can Star Trek XI keep it up in the box office? Only time will tell…

A First For Obama….

In the midst of our national security being threatened,  Obama pulls a move that was totally unexpected.  He blocks the torture photos. Now this might be one of the first decent acts that President Obama and his Regime has committed.

Well, that’s one for one, Obama.  Now how about blocking the interrogation memos?  Blocking 2,000 pictures is okay and all, but I’m still watching.  With having a track record of so many blunders,  I can’t take any chances.   Yet.

80,000 Jobs in California Threatened Because of a Stupid Minnow?

Due to the efforts of some environmentalists,  80,000 people in California’s farming industry could be losing their jobs.  Their reason is to protect the delta smelt, a two-inch minnow on the verge of extinction. Now California’s economy is already in a mess.  This doesn’t help to better it at all.

Do the environmentalists even know what kind of impact this is going to have?  80,000 jobs could be lost, all because of a stupid minnow.  Outrageous.

KFC For All!

Did you get you coupon for a free KFC dinner?  On Oprah’s show yesterday, she gave away a coupon for a free two-piece meal.  This spurred so much demand at KFC that one store in the Big Apple ran out of chicken.

For a restaurant that serves the Colonel’s secret recipe of 11 different herbs and spices, this crazy demand has brought to mind one question: “Where’s the chicken?”

Maybe Oprah needs to do less of these giveaways.  If she offered free coupons for Taco Bell,  perhaps we will hear about some disgruntled customers, complaining that their Taco Bell ran out of beef.

Now THIS Sucks.

President Obama is going after big business again, and he’s doing so by going after tax havens overseas.  These loopholes have allowed businesses to pay less taxes.  His strategy?  Create class envy and go after those wealthy people.

Doesn’t Obama know that the wealthy pay for most of the taxes in this country?  When businesses pay more taxes, it becomes more expensive, leading to layoffs. This is redistribution of wealth.  Another “genius” move by Obama.

I’ve been pretty busy today, which explains the brevity of this post.  I’m now going to build a list of everyone I know and find out if they have any leads in the writing industry. That way, I can find a business that will actually pay me to write for them, instead of squandering my time on a blog that I merely consider a hobby.

Meh.  So busy today.  So many things to do, so little time.  And wasting my time on a blog is not how I want to spend my time. Later, blogheads.

They’re Taking Over….

It’s an invasion.  They have already taken over thousands of homes, and now they plan on taking over Disney.

Well, sort of. Yes.  I’m not too crazy about Hulu.  That, with their plan to take over the world, and all.  I couldn’t subscribe to it anyway, since I lack the funds to do so. I guess if given a free trial, I would let those aliens feast on my brain like it was cottage cheese, and they could go on with their takeover.

But what shows would really interest me on that service?  If there are any at all, they would all be reruns, and it wouldn’t really benefit me.  There aren’t too many shows I miss, anyway.

Once I finish my book and it becomes a New York Times bestseller, I can begin to afford luxuries like Hulu. Okay,  my book  probably won’t make it that far, but one can hope, right?

President Obama, Here’s to 100 Days….and 100 Failures!

The time has finally come.  It has been 100 days since Barack Obama has become president on Immaculation Day, um…(excuse me) Inauguration Day! In those days, Obama has made quite a bit of mistakes.  To celebrate, I bring you the 100 failures that President Obama has made during his first 100 days in office.

The Propaganda, on the other hand will say that Obama has made “progress” during the first 100 days.  If they mean a much larger government with more government jobs, then of course!  They’ll also say that this 100 days has been a “refreshing departure from Bush”.   Why are they still blaming Bush?  It must mean because they still hate him, and are unwilling to take responsibility for their own actions. But enough about that.  Today is the day to celebrate, and look at every failure Obama has made.

Where has he succeeded? That, I am still trying to figure out.  If Obama actually does something that would be helpful to this country, I would thank him.  But this day still has yet to be seen. At least I can take comfort in knowing this.

Only 1,286 more days remain until the next election, and that’s more than enough days to prove me wrong, or prove me right. I’m leaning toward the latter.

More Like Benedict Arlen!

Well, I guess this was to be expected, but Arlen Specter joined sides with the Democratic Party. Now that this act has taken place, I guess the Republican party can move on now.  In weeding out the RINOs, they might be able to find the solid ideals that define the GOP.

I would liken this to Anakin Skywalker joining the dark side, but Specter is just too old to fit the analogy.  He would more resemble Palpatine in terms of age. As one of the three RINOs that supported the “Stimulus Bill”, I guess this wasn’t really a surprise at all.  With Specter finally being honest, he can go to the party he belongs.  And the Republicans can return to their values.

Okay, We Get it Already!

With the swine flu now here in the United States,  I am already tired of all the coverage that it’s getting. Yes, there is an outbreak, but is it going to get worse?  If not, then they are making a big deal out of it. I will give this a few more days.  At least a week, at the most.

If this thing worsens, then we do have reason to worry.  Until then, I am just going to take it easy, and let them isolate this strain. If I begin to see the swine flu covered 24 hours a day, reporting an outbreak like the Bubonic Plague, THEN I will start to panic.   And that would scare me. A lot.

On Trial For Doing the Right Thing?

This perfectly illustrates the lack of intelligence in the Obama Regime.  Even when the CIA agents have kept us safe during the rest of the Bush Administration,  Obama considers prosecuting these agents as a possibility.

President Barack Obama left the door open Tuesday to prosecuting Bush administration officials who devised the legal authority for gruesome terror-suspect interrogations, saying the United States lost “our moral bearings” with use of the tactics. The question of whether to bring charges against those who devised justification for the methods “is going to be more of a decision for the attorney general within the parameters of various laws and I don’t want to prejudge that,” Obama said. The president discussed the continuing issue of terrorism-era interrogation tactics with reporters as he finished an Oval Office meeting with visiting King Abdullah II of Jordan. Obama also said he could support a congressional investigation into the Bush-era terrorist detainee program, but only under certain conditions, such as if it were done on a bipartisan basis. He said he worries about the impact that high-intensity, politicized hearings in Congress could have on the government’s efforts to cope with terrorism.

There is absolutely no reason why these agents should be arrested.  The enhanced interrogations that they used on the terrorists have proven to be very effective.  For instance, they uncovered a developing plot that would involve East Asian operatives hijacking an aircraft and crashing it into a building in Los Angeles. Now somebody tell me if it makes sense to give a terrorist the same rights as we do as Americans.  Why would you give them rights?  They have no citizenship in this country!

Would you want to give rights to someone who is hell-bent on killing people and spreading fear in this country?  In giving them that kind of treatment, I not only find it dangerous and stupid, but quite scary as well.

On the other hand, the possibility remains open for innocent people in this country to be prosecuted.  Prosecuted for what?  Keeping our country safe?  Those enhanced interrogations should not be grounds to prosecute someone, especially if these interrogations were done on terrorists, who shouldn’t have any rights at all if they threaten to take our right to life away.

I can only hope that Obama doesn’t let these prosecutions go through.  He has already made a  dangerous move in cutting down our national defense.  If people end up dying from terrorists under Obama, the anger in this country will really begin to surge.  The blue Dems may not think so, but the red Republicans will be even redder.  A weaker America is a more dangerous America, and this scares me.

For Earth Day, Here’s My “Green” Entry

This day is just a means for the environmentalist wackos to spread their hoax about the threatened destruction of our earth from our consumption of resources.

Weren’t all these resources created FROM the earth?  Why then, would these same resources destroy it? Imagine this scenario.  If all humanity were to be eliminated, a couple hundred years later, everything on earth would grow back.  Animals would repopulate and plants would flourish again.

Earth Day? Yeah, sure….whatever.   All my lights will be on and all my appliances will be running. With all the resources that we are replacing on a regular basis, I find the whole premise of this holiday ridiculous, and profoundly political.

Excuse Me, But She Should’ve Won.

To all the vapid judges out there (yeah, you too, Perez Hilton), Miss California should’ve been the next Miss USA. The reason why she lost was in a question that blogger Perez Hilton asked her about legalizing gay marriage.

Miss California (Carrie Prejean), in her response, said that marriage should be between a man and a woman.  I for one don’t see anything wrong with having traditional views on marriage.  The judges should respect her views, and just leave it at that.

But that didn’t happen.  Perez Hilton especially wasn’t happy with the answer that Miss California gave.  When spouting out on one of his blog videos, he called Carrie a “stupid b****”.  Well Perez, in being as ostentatious as you are,  don’t you value honesty?  Would you rather have her lie to appease the judges?  Should she have given a different answer, one that supported gay marriage,  none of this backlash would exist in the mainstream media.  I think Perez and the other lowlifes should apologize to Miss California for lambasting her views on traditional marriage.

Miss California, I’m pulling for you.  When Hollywood and all surrounding parts heap insults on people that don’t share their views, they are attacking the very core and foundation of this country.  Like it or not, traditional values are what established our country.

Tradition? Yeah, it’s in the Constitution, punks. I think they should set up the voting for these pageants like American Idol.  That way, America decides, not the judges.  The judges could still be spectators, but one rule must stand.

Simon Cowell can’t be a judge.

Mega64, anyone?

This may not be Mega64, but it sure as heck looks like it.  Shoppers beware! Pac Man is coming to terrorize a supermarket near you!

For those of you unfamiliar with Mega64, it’s a series of hilarious videos that are based on video games. They have done Tetris, Super Mario Bros. 3, Final Fantasy XII, and Parappa the Rapper, to name a few.

Oh, and to all you golfers out there, I give you this word of caution.  Keep your golf balls hidden when you see this yellow menace on the greens.   There is no safety.  That is, until the police arrive and read Pac-Man his rights.

And we can’t forget the ghosts – Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde.  They were the ones that started it, right?

Okay. Now America MUST be stupid.

The American left would, like lemmings, jump off a cliff if President Obama told them to. Over the weekend,  President Obama met with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.  One of the gifts that Chavez gave to Obama was an anti-American book titled “The Open Vains of Latin America: Five Centruries of the Pilliage of a Continent”.  Now before this meeting and gift exchange even took place, this book was around 55,000-something on Amazon.  As a result of this exchange, this book rose to #2 on Amazon.

This perfectly illustrates just how stupid America has become.  The Propaganda is so embedded in the minds of the millions of unwashed masses that we have millions of mindless sheep that will obey Obama’s every command.  Do they know that the book that they are ordering is filled with lies about America?  What the deuce.

Obama most likely already has this book in his library of socialist volumes.   This act continues to demonstrate how we are drifting away from the founding principles that made this country great.

The #2 book fortunately has not beat the #1 book on Amazon: “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto” by Mark Levin.  This alone offers a slice of hope that all is not lost in America.  That there are 55 million stark raving mad conservatives out there that are sick and tired of the direction that America is headed in. And I’m happy to be one of them.
