Me & My Muse – Day 1256: The Mission Begins Tonight…

For those of you who don’t know, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story begins tonight.   I already have my movie ticket, so that really simplifies things…

Muse:  Aren’t you excited?  I surely am!

Yes.  I’m very excited!  To hold me over, I’ll be having some Christmas sweets at tonight’s Toastmasters meeting.

Muse:  I even dressed up as Princess Leia.  Don’t I look good?

Yes.  Very.  I love those buns.

Muse: You better hope that Han didn’t hear you say that. He wouldn’t like that very much…

It was just a compliment. I wasn’t trying to make the move on the “princess”. But seriously. You look good.

Muse:  Thank you.  I will camp out by the theater while you’re at your Toastmasters meeting.

Go ahead and do that.  I work an early morning shift. As for later,  I will be going to a Toastmasters meeting and then I’ll be going directly to the movie after that.  Later on, there will be a brief discussion about this movie, followed by a full movie review this weekend.  So stay tuned for that.

Today’s high is going to be 13 degrees and the silver lining is seeing Rogue One: A Star Wars Story tonight.

To all of you who like seeing a good movie, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  If there are any other Princess Leias there, they’re going to lose. How can they beat this? I even brushed up on my Star Wars history. Heh. I’m such a nerd…

Me & My Muse – Day 1255: Millennials vs. Gen X ends tonight!

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/bc/Survivor33.png

That’s right.  You won’t be able to see this after tonight.  Well, maybe with the exception of catching it online or on demand.

Today, I worked my morning shift.  I am now at Ideation, trying to catch up on things before working on my next steps.  And at 8:00 EST, the finale for Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X airs on CBS.  It’s a two-hour finale with a one hour reunion show to follow.  It will be a nice conclusion to this season.

Who will win?  I am hoping that it will be someone who really deserves it.  After all, I would like a happy ending to this season…

Today’s high is going to be 20 degrees and the silver lining is seeing the finale of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X tonight.

To those of you who like watching reality TV shows, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  *sigh*  Survivor?  I’m sorry.  I’m going to rewatch all the Star Wars movies for tomorrow.  Have fun!

Me & My Muse – Day 1254: Tuesday Dough Day

After spending three hours making dough at work, I think that we will be more than set for tomorrow.  With the projections corrected, I think that we will be fine just as long as they remember to do this on the weekend.  Two days worth of dough must be in there everyday, with the next day being worked on first thing in the morning.

With that done, I am glancing through my emails, looking at all my job search filters.  Today was stressful, and I wouldn’t mind working just as hard and getting paid a whole lot more.  I hope to find something soon.

My friend might not be coming over, since he’s still recovering from a cold.  With that, I will continue on the Christmas footage, granted I can retrieve it.

Today’s high is going to be 25 degrees, with the temperature dropping throughout the day.  It will get down to 20 degrees by the late afternoon.  The silver lining is being done with dough for the day.

To those of you who like making the other kind of dough, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  I like the other dough myself, but I don’t mind a pizza every now and then.  Time to continue on the footage!  Teenage years, here I come!

Me & My Muse – Day 1253: Monday Snow Day

It may have been a snow day for everyone who still attends school, but it surely wasn’t for me.

Due to that reason, work was unusually busy today.  Having cleared that hurdle, I’m ready to relax.  I will see what’s available and apply for any opportunity that I can find.

My friend won’t be coming over, due to having a cold.  I don’t want the gift that keeps on giving, so it’s good that he’s fighting it off at home.

Only three years remain in watching my footage.  After that, I will be all caught up.  I will do this after looking for some opportunities.

Today’s high is going to be 29 degrees and the silver lining is having the rest of this day off.

To those of you who are nice and warm inside, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  I got jealous of your snow so I made some in the Realm of Imagination.  There’s always a problem with that.  I can’t get it to stop snowing after I start it.  Time to go play in the snow!  I think I’ll make a snowman…

Me & My Muse – Day 1252: Tired…

Due to staying up so late, I am really tired right now.

Why?  Having picked up a shift late yesterday afternoon, I wanted to enjoy myself afterward.  I did so and now I’m tired.

Add shoveling snow outside today and I’m beyond tired.

Time to rest and enjoy the rest of the day.

Today’s high is going to be 29 degrees and the silver lining is getting all the snow shoveled.

To those of you who are really tired right now, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:   *yawn*  I’m pretty tired myself.  I think I’ll go to bed early…

Me & My Muse – Day 1251: To NES or Not to NES?

That is the question.  The friend visit didn’t happen last night.  I went to Captured and left early.   The main reason was that I was so tired from getting up early and I wanted to relax back at home.  Overall, it was some good company and I enjoyed it.

For today, I will continue watching some more Christmas footage.  My friend may come over or he may not.  I am not quite sure.  I will let you know if he does.

Muse:  Well, I was tired so I only watched my first Christmas last night.

Were you one in that one?

Muse:  Nope!  I was only four months old!  I will be 16 months old in the second one and 28 months old in the third one!

My parents couldn’t afford a video camera in the earlier years so the earliest that they have me is when I was four.

Muse:  My parents did.  Using our Intangible abilities, we can pretty much record anything.  In fact, I’m recording our conversation right now.

You are?  Delete it.  I want this to be a private one.

Muse:  If you did, you wouldn’t be typing all this, would you?

You have a point there.  Anyway, time to watch some more footage!

Muse:   Same here!  I can’t wait to get to my third Christmas!  They couldn’t stop me from crying!  I was scared of Santa and they were unable to calm me down!

Interesting.  Time to watch more footage.

Muse:  Have fun!

*Muse re-enters her pink TARDIS*

With the rest of this day ahead of me, it’s time to get started.

Today’s high is going to be 27 degrees and the silver lining is watching more Christmas footage today.

To those of you who like recalling Christmas memories, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  Here it is!  My second Christmas!  And there I am!  Walking around with my blanket at 16 months!  My, was I a cutie!

Me & My Muse – Day 1250: More Footage and a Possible Friend Visit…

With this week over at work, I can enjoy another weekend from the daily hustle and bustle.

This would begin with watching some more Christmas footage.  I have to continue watching Christmas of 1994.  Once I get through that, the other years will go by faster.

My friend may be coming over today.  Whether he does or not, I may be going to a Young Adults night at Captured in Ashman Plaza.

Oh yeah, and today is pay day, so that’s always good. That’s about all for this day in a nutshell.

Today’s high is going to be 30 degrees and the silver lining is getting paid today and being done with the week.

To those of you who are glad that it’s Friday, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  You’re still on the Christmas of 1994?  I think I will begin on my footage.  Time for my first Christmas!  This is going to be good…

Me & My Muse – Day 1249: Forget the Hot Water…

Actually, to be honest, today was okay.  It was definitely better than Tuesday, but really busy.

With that done, I’ll be making some homemade Chex Mix and watching some more Christmas footage.  That’s about all I have.  I’ll be back tomorrow, when I have more energy.

Today’s high is going to be 31 degrees and the silver lining is having some fresh homemade Chex Mix.

To those of you who like traditional family snacks, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse;  Chex Mix?  Let me know when it’s ready!  I would like some myself…

Me & My Muse – Day 1248: A Good Start

Unlike yesterday, today went quite swimmingly.  Everything was done before the store opened, and most of the evening dough was made before I left.

After work, I ran some errands.  I shopped for some new work pants and some miscellaneous supplies I needed for home: shaving cream, apples, and some Sriracha Sauce.

I now need to get ready for Ideation.  All I have is just some definitions to get done and I’ll be able to make some new progress today.

Muse:  It’s good that you’re feeling better today.

I know.  I just needed some extra time to get some things done.

Muse:  I have a few more gifts to wrap, so I’ll be getting back to that…

A few more?  I’m done wrapping all of my gifts.  I finished yesterday.

Muse;  Well, I keep buying more, so I have more to wrap.  Enjoy your evening!

I will!

*Muse re-enters pink TARDIS*

Time to finish my Ideation homework and get ready for it tonight.

Today’s high is going to be 35 degrees and the silver lining is going to Ideation tonight.

To those of you who like to start well, I hope that you all have s fantastic day.

Muse:  I keep thinking of new things to get for my Intangible friends and parents.  I hope that mom and dad like the gifts that I got them…

Me & My Muse – Day 1247: Hot Water Problem

Don’t expect this one to be long today.  I am not in a very good mood.

Based on the title that you see, let’s just say that work was frustrating today.  I will not go into any more detail.

The high for today is 42 degrees and the silver lining is…ah forget it!  There is no silver lining  today.

Good day everyone!

Muse:  I’ll talk to him later.  This doesn’t seem to be a very good time right now…

Me & My Muse – Day 1246: Another NESday…

And if you have been reading these, then you know exactly what that means.  More gameplay, more dinner and more Continuum (or maybe a special Christmas episode of Animaniacs, because it’s that time of year… 🙂 ).

Of course this will all happen following a six-hour morning shift.

Today’s high is going to be 40 degrees and the silver lining is hanging out with my friend later.

To those of you who like to unwind after work, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  Time to get up!  Oh, and I just forgot!  I got gifts for everyone on my list, except The Doctor.  Better start shopping for him…

Me & My Muse – Day 1245: Good Night…

Today was quite relaxing.  I went to church, caught up on my reading and devotionals, and began watching some Christmas footage.

It’s now time for bed.  I will continue on the Christmas footage tomorrow.

Today’s high is going to be 38 degrees and the silver lining is having this day off.

To those of you who have enjoyed this Sunday, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  I’m starting to get tired.  Good night, Kyle!

Me & My Muse – Day 1244: O Christmas Tree

Out of the forests, tree farms, home improvement stores or closets and into your house.  We have an evergreen conifer to decorate.

Or do you?  If not, you will soon.  And if you’re not the kind that keeps a Christmas tree in your house, chances are you know someone who does.  Or they know someone.

With just 22 days left until Christmas, the race has begun.  Deck those halls.  Deck the outside of your house.  Deck the lawn.  Deck the kitchen.  And whatever you do, don’t forget to deck the tree.

And while there’s plenty of shopping to do (we’ll get to that another day), we’ll focus on the tree for today.  For me, getting the tree has been a tradition that goes all the way back to my childhood.  And even before that, the tradition of decorating trees has been around for hundreds of years.  Ever since the pagan Europeans practiced tree worship long ago.  But having survived the conversion to Christianity, the trees were then used to scare away the devil.

Getting back to my tradition, I have always enjoyed getting a tree as a kid.  For a number of years, I can remember going to Beards Lakeview Farm with my brother, younger sister and parents.  We would get out and begin searching for the perfect tree.

The search would pretty much go like this.  One of us would find what we think to be the perfect tree, until a flaw is pointed out in it.  A spot may be bare, or it might be too small or too tall.  This would continue on and on for several trees.

And finally, by some miraculous event, we come across the perfect tree. At that point, the tree is ready to be cut down, right?  Wrong.  It’s picture time.  Stand in front of the tree in the freezing cold and get your picture taken, so that grandma and grandpa could see the tree that you got this year.  At the age that I was at back then, it didn’t matter.  There was snow everywhere and I was standing in front of the tree that would go in our living room.  I loved it.

For the first few years, mom and dad dragged the tree to the needle shaker and wrapper.  But when me and my brother were old enough, dad made us drag the tree all the way back to get de-needled and wrapped up in twine ropes for the truck.  As the years went by, it got easier and easier to do.

Looking at this year, I have yet to get a tree.  In fact, we’re getting one today.  But due to Beards Lakeview Farms ending their Christmas Tree business two years ago, we have decided to go to the same Christmas Tree farm as last year.  Kluck Nursery.  It’s little bit of a drive but it will definitely be worth it. It should be great, as I was very satisfied from last year.  I’ll let you know how it turns out.

And if you’ve been following the 12 Pains of Christmas, I’ll be getting the first thing done today.

As for the other eleven, they will all come in due time.  Well actually nine, since I don’t drink or have any children to worry about.

Muse:  Got your tree?

Not yet.  I will be today.  And I actually want to end this…

Muse:  Well, before you do, I have some good news.  I found the perfect Christmas tree!

https://i2.wp.com/georgeweigel.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/fraser-fir.jpg

Nice.  Your tree looks just like ours do in the real world.

Muse:  I know.  Christmas has gotten really popular among me and the Intangibles.

So did you cut it down?

Muse:  Of course I did!  And it’s all decorated too.

Well, that was fast!  I still need to get a tree and decorate it!

Muse:  Well, being Intangible does have its advantages.  Plus, I want to get some reading done.  Now you can end it.  Farewell!

*sigh*  Intangibles always get the best trees.  Well, I guess that makes sense since they’re all imaginary.

The high today is going to be 40 degrees and the silver lining is getting a Christmas tree.

To all of you who love the tradition of keeping a Christmas tree in your house,  I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  The star on this tree is so beautiful.  To be perfectly honest, I could stare at this for hours…

Me & My Muse – Day 1243: They Grow Up So Fast

Tee hee hee hee hee hee…

*sigh*

I feel like history is repeating itself.  When else have I experienced my Muse having the entire universe at her fingertips?  Well, baby fingertips…And it’s not like she knows any better so it’s all a toy to her…Oh yeah.  I remember.  It was 80 days ago

As I am typing this,  I am Legend.  The process is complete.  The large glowing void has grown, and pulled the entire planet into it.  And at the rate that it is growing, I’m sure that our universe is inside it too…

As a result, the entire human race has been babyfied.  And I’m the only one left that can fix it.  The Dark Muse has caused this, I just know it…

Dark Muse:  You rang?

Just get away from here.  You were the one that created the void.  The void that is connected to the universe that my baby Muse was in.

Dark Muse: You are the meanie.  You banished her universe and locked the door on her.  Now would you really lock a child in her room? I unlocked the door and let her out!  Sharing is caring!

Um…I don’t call this “sharing”.  She basically overshadowed this entire planet so she now has two worlds at her disposal…well, two universes by now…

Dark Muse:  And she deserves it.  Hasn’t anyone ever taught you how to share?

But that’s not sharing!  That’s complete invasion!  That’s turning the entire planet into a utopian garden full of helpless infants!  In what way do you consider it “sharing”?

Dark Muse:  That’s a wonderful example of sharing.  To be totally honest, I have not a care in the world of what happens to this planet.  Isn’t that how evil is supposed to work?

Exactly, but…

Dark Muse:  And you want the hero to come in and save the day, and bring balance to this story, huh?  That would be a wonderful change in pace now, would it?  But I hate to break it to you, dear.  Your story is over.  There are no heroes here.

There is.  You have one hero left…

Dark Muse:  Exactly.  You are the bad boy that needs to be punished.  Now let’s not be mean.  Learn to share.  Give me the One Privilege.

What?  And give you control over two One Privileges?

Dark Muse:  But of course!  I could yield the Two Privilege and be unstoppable!

Or I could stop you altogether.  You may be a Time Lady, but I have just as much power and intellect as The Doctor.  And due to your constant pursuit of my One Privilege, I would say that I have even more power than that…

Dark Muse;  Then do it.  Destroy me and do your hero thing.  Go brave hero!  Go and destroy the big mean Dark Muse!  That menacing witch that is a malignant boil to everyone’s day!

I can’t.

Dark Muse:  And why is that?  You have the power to.

You have the power to cancel my ability to.

Dark Muse:  Try me.

Very well.  Completely destroy the Dark Muse!  One Privilege, ENGAGE!

*shoots out powerful beam, which completely vaporizes Dark Muse*

She gave up?  Is it really that easy?  It can’t be!

Hello?  Show yourself!

Tee hee hee hee hee hee…

*Dark Muse reappears in a cloud of smoke*

Dark Muse:  Oh, hi!  I was just visiting the poor little baby girl that you locked away!

Locked away?  I was saving the universe from her terror!

Dark Muse:  Her terror?  The poor little thing…She’s only two years old!  She doesn’t know any better!

And that’s the problem.  When you have a child with that much power, she is a threat to the universe.  That power must be contained…

Dark Muse:  And that’s where you’re cruel.  When she blew up the universe,  it shattered the One Privilege and her.  Pieces of her scattered the universe and her presence enveloped it.  With the One Privilege surrounding every piece of her, her rebirth was complete.  She became a goddess.  A brand new goddess in her infancy…

So you’re going to attribute divine qualities to her?  Even the One Privilege has limited powers.  Limits have been established for those powers and such limits cannot be exceeded.

Dark Muse:  Limits you say?

Well, a painter can’t have unlimited paint, can he?  He’ll eventually run out of resources!  The privileges were originally intended to establish a virtual construct, simulating certain aspects of reality.

Dark Muse:  So you’re basically saying that she can be a goddess to a certain extent.  Fair enough.

I prefer to use the term creator.  The only problem is that children always make messy pictures…

Dark Muse:  But you got to give them credit for trying.  Give me the Privilege!

No!  I am going to end this!  I know that I can’t destroy you, so I’ll continue on with my plan…

*teleports far away from the Dark Muse*

Tee hee hee hee hee hee…

Now to fall asleep before she finds me.  Fall asleep!

*instantly falls asleep and enters dream world*

There she is.  Just like before.

A gigantic infant, shining brighter than any of the stars in the sky…

*flies over to my Muse, who is sleeping*

Leave her alone.  Let her sleep!

I don’t like him, mommy!  Tee hee!

*Dark Muse appears in a cloud of smoke*

Dark Muse:  Don’t worry, dear.  “Mommy” will make it all better…

Mommy?  What have you done with Nurture?

Dark Muse:  What have I done?  She’s been disposed of.  I’m her new mother.  Now, leave my darling daughter alone!

How about I banish both of you back where you belong?

Dark Muse:  What?  Lock us both in?  Excellent plan, dear!  But I’m afraid that’s not going to work.  I have the keys!

What?

Dark Muse:  It was simple.  I traveled back in time.  81 days into the past.  Just before the universe exploded, I did away with the original mother and took her place.  Then it happened.  She got all the power and I share it with her.  Isn’t this amazing?

For you, it is.  But I don’t think it’s amazing.

Dark Muse:  Too bad.  I win.  Now give me the One Privilege!

How about I take hers instead?

No daddy!  It’s mine!

Dark Muse:  Don’t upset her.  You don’t want to upset a baby goddess…

She’s powerless! If not for that One Privilege, she wouldn’t have anything!

Dark Muse:  But she does.  Now gimme!

???:  How about you learn to share?

The Doctor!  But how?

The Doctor:  Your reasoning and your mannerisms.  You remind me of someone very familiar.

Dark Muse:  So I do, huh?  So who does the great Doctor think I am?  I am just dying to know!

The Doctor:  Does the name “Missy” ring a bell?

Dark Muse:  You’re quite right.  She’s a wonderful friend.  And how I wish that I could share more about her! But I have a child to calm and a couple of annoying pests to exterminate…

The Doctor:  So do I.  Destroy the pest!

Past Kyle:  With honor!  Here, future me.  you can borrow it.

Nice.  Two One Privileges?  Or should I say the Two Privilege?

Dark Muse:  Bravo, Doctor.  You’ve done it again.  I go and destroy everything and you manage to save it again.  Wasn’t that fun?

The Doctor:  To all involved, it really wasn’t.  Let’s stop with the drama and enjoy Christmas and the other holidays.  Truce?

Dark Muse:  I love Christmas.  How can I resist?  It’s a deal, Doctor.  After the new year,  everything goes back to normal.  I will do my evil deeds and you will do good.  I’ll see you around!

You’re not going anywhere until I return things to normal.  First, you are not the mother of the baby Muse.  Nurture is.  Two Privilege, ENGAGE!

*Nurture reappears*

Nurture:  I’m back!  Tee hee!

It’s the same Nurture from her timeline.  Where she controls her universe…

The Doctor:  Yes.  And to preserve everything in the timeline, her universe must go back where it belongs.  As we both know, One Privileges can’t be destroyed!

Then why does she still have it?

The Doctor:  She is from the timeline where she still has it.  Even when she was banished, her universe transcended time when it was created.  So when you banished her, you banished her back to her point of origin, where she still had the One Privilege.

So you’re saying that her universe existed even if I were to go back in time before the explosion happened?

The Doctor:  Exactly.  It transcends time.  That explosion didn’t just shatter space, but time.  The best we can do is banish her universe to a place where she can’t do any harm.

And I think I know how I can do that…

Send Baby Universe into void and lock the void!  Two Privilege, ENGAGE!

Bye daddy!  Tee hee!

*universe gets sucked into void, vanishes, and is locked twice with two flashing seals*

I’m guessing that each seal requires one One Privilege to unlock.

The Doctor:  Which means that the void will not unlock, no matter what you do.  Our work here is done.

Past Kyle:  And I will need my privilege back.  You can restore everything with just One Privilege.

Yes I can.  Here you go!

Past Kyle:  Thanks.  It looks like my future will be better.  Bye!

*Past Kyle enters TARDIS with The Doctor and TARDIS vanishes*

There.

*wakes up*

Restore universe to normal.  One Privilege, ENGAGE!

*everything flashes and is restored to normal*

Muse:  You did it!

The Doctor:  My plan worked!

So you planned this the whole time?

The Doctor:  I planned this during our one week respite around Thanksgiving.  I traveled to the past and warned my past self about what is about to happen.  My past self then went to the future with your past self to restore things to normal.  It all worked nicely, didn’t it?

It did.  It’s now time to enjoy Christmas.

Muse:  I’m up for that, but first, I have to go!

*Muse runs into pink TARDIS and closes the door*

The Doctor:  Women and their sudden urges to use the bathroom.  Why does she keep doing this?  I know that this is a new regeneration cycle for her, but it’s rather odd.  Her and I go way back…

Only because she was abducted from her mother’s womb to be born as a Galifreyan before her birth…

The Doctor:  There was a reason for that, and you know it well.  Time to jam with my guitar…

*The Doctor enters his TARDIS and closes the door*

I think I will end here tonight.  With this story arc done, I can enjoy Christmas and everything that it has to offer.

Today’s high is going to be 39 degrees and the silver lining is having the rest of the weekend to enjoy.

To those of you who are enjoying your Friday, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  *sigh*  Just as I thought.  I soaked it all the way through!  Urr…I hate incontinence…

My Writing Journey – Start Early! (12/01/2016)

I hope that you have all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I had.

Have any of you started you Christmas shopping yet?  I already have.  I started early.

Starting early is not just important for this time of year.  It is also  important when you’re writing.  The earlier you start, the better.  If you’re young and still in school, write regularly and get a head start.  If you’re in college, that’s still okay.  The younger you start, the better.  Start early.

If you’re older and you have made the decision to start writing, that is still okay.  The whole idea is to have as much time as possible to write.  In doing this, you will have a lot of material to work with.

For me, I started early.  I have been writing since fourth grade.  I have been keeping a journal since high school and one a daily one regularly since college.

So have you started yet?  Start early, and get an edge on the competition.

What will be covered next week?  That’s a surprise!  Stay tuned!

I’ll see you next week!

Your friend in writing,

Kyle

Me & My Muse – Day 1242: Wrapping Things Up

To put things quite literally, that’s what I’m going to be doing today.  I will be wrapping some gifts that I still need to wrap.  I will then go to my Toastmasters meeting.

Muse:  WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

The Doctor: WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

No.  I am not dealing with that today.  Clone, tend to them!

Kyle Clone:  Right away, sir!

There.  I will deal with that story arc tomorrow.  Now to get to the wrapping.

The high for today is going to be 43 degrees and the silver lining is getting some wrapping done.

To those of you who like to wrap gifts, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Kyle Clone:  There you go.  Kyle will take care of you two tomorrow.

Muse:  WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

The Doctor: WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Me & My Muse – Day 1241: Smart Phone & A New Computer!

Remember Dumb Phone and New Phone (you would have to be reading this for a long time to remember this)?  This time, I actually did it.  Just yesterday, I went and bought a brand new phone.  A Samsung Galaxy J3V.  Feast your eyes on this!

new-phone

In addition to that, I just bought my new computer.  A Lenova ThinkPad with the full suite.  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  It’s official.  Christmas has come a month early.

Muse:  Awesome!  Congrats on the phone and the computer!  It’s about time that you got a smart phone.

I know.  I’ve been holding out for as long as possible.

Muse:  I’ve had one for a while now.  I don’t know what took you so long.  Now I can add you to Snapchat!

Time to get working on Ideation now.

Muse:  I’ll let you do that.  Back to my TARDIS!

*Muse re-enters pink TARDIS*

Time to cut to the chase.  I got my bill paid (not the one with the computer and phone, thank goodness) and my lunch packed.  I will now work on my Ideation work.

Today’s high is going to be 54 degrees and the silver lining is getting my new phone and laptop (which was actually yesterday, but I’m still celebrating!).

To those of you who like getting new things, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  There.  I added you to Snapchat.  Please add me back!

Me & My Muse – Day 1240: A Couple Big Updates…

I’ll elaborate on them tomorrow.  With it being so late, I’m going to turn in for tonight.

Today’s high is going to be 58 degrees and the silver lining is getting those awesome updates.

To those of you who love getting new stuff, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse;  New stuff, huh?  I know what you got, but I’ll wait until tomorrow…

Me & My Muse – Day 1239: Click Till You Drop

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? If not, now is the time.

Now quick! Go to your preferred websites and order everything on your list before you get that dreaded 404 error.

For anyone who took part in Black Friday, it continues. What, you ask? Well, only THE biggest holiday for online retailers everywhere: Cyber Monday.

For those who hate the Black Friday crowds, today is your day.  All you need to do is relax. You don’t have to go anywhere and all the best sales are just a click away. And the only downside is a server failure.

While there are so many deals to take advantage of today, I am not doing anything of the sort. I don’t need another large credit card bill to pay off so I am going to pass on this day for this year.

For anyone else who wants the deals, now is the time.   Stop reading this, type your favorite online store in the address bar and start shopping!

Muse:  I’m almost done with my shopping.

What would you need to shop for?

Muse:  What kind of question is that?  Time Ladies need things just as much as anyone else in the universe!

I’ll get to that later.

Muse:  Okay.  So far, I’ve got a lot of my shopping done.

Good.  I now need to get ready.

Today’s high is going to be 45 degrees and the silver lining is my friend coming over later.

To those of you who love shopping online, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  It’s about to happen.  The Doctor will need to bring us back to the timeline or we’ll experience all of last week all over again.  Oh, I’m going to hate this!  I don’t want to be a baby again…

Me & My Muse – Day 1238: Sleepy Sunday

To reflect, this Sunday has been quite peaceful. I went to small church and second service.  I then had breakfast with my grandparents afterwards.

What remains is the rest of the day.  I will take it easy and enjoy what’s left of this Sunday.  The gifts are wrapped and my Christmas list is done.  All in all, this Thanksgiving weekend was pretty good.

Today’s high is going to be 42 degrees and the silver lining is having another day off.

To those of you who are enjoying this Sunday, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  My company just left.  All I need to do is clean the house…And wash all the bedding.  Better get started!
