Bad news for Democrats….

That’s right.  Bad news for the Democrats.  This bad news comes from the housing market. In December, the low prices in housing has slowly attracted some buyers back into the market.  That’s one thing that is already adjusting from this recession. For the Republicans, however, this is great news.  With this taking place, that is one part of the economy that is slowly recovering. This bill can be compared to a rotting corpse.

With it stinking more and more by the day,  more people are becoming aware of its terrible odor, and are leaving in droves. What is a spending bill going to do to stimulate the economy?  It’s just a bill to grow big government.  That’s it.  What should be done if they wanted a real stimulus bill is revise it.  Revise everything in it.  Offer some tax cuts and reduce spending.  Cut about $300 billion out of the bill and make most of it what it should be: A stimulus bill!

I will end today with a quote from Rush Limbaugh: “Ignorance is our most expensive commodity.” Ignorance is what’s costing our country billions of dollars.  Let’s put our brains to work and cut down on this ignorance, okay?

Senate votes on the Porkulus Bill today….

Here we are.  We are heading into round two.  If we have any turnout like the House,  the Democrats will be voting for the whole thing by themselves. Heck.  We should let the Dems have it all.  A spending bill is “really” going to help the economy, right?

When this thing implodes in the next couple years,  maybe people will finally see that their “savior” isn’t doing what he promised he would do. President Obama should stop taking cheap shots at Rush Limbaugh and do his job as president,  If that’s something he knows how to do.  Oh wait!  He’s still doing on the job training.  He hardly has any political experience.

I am hoping very soon that we can teach the Democrats a new word (or words):  Tax cut.  Say it with me.  Tax c….Wait a second! Oh yeah! That’s right.  You never use those words in the same sentence.  Your Porkulus Bill is clear evidence of that.  That ticking time bomb that will blow up in a couple years. Well Dems, when you’re ready to actually work together, let me know.  In the meantime, I have plenty of peanuts to throw.  Heck, I need some target practice, anyway.

Blago’s gone!

Yep! They finally did it.  Blagoga…Blagova….Bl..Blagojevich!  Heck, Blago is much easier to say.  Anyway, Governor Blago was just impeached yesterday.  It was a unanimous decision made by the Illinois senate.  It was a unanimous decision, 59-0, to oust him.

What I found ridiculous about the whole thing was that Blago, in a last ditch effort, made appearances on different programs, to try to plead his case.   With most of the public wanting him out of there already, what made him think that he could save himself?  If anything, I think that act only drew more attention to him and made things worse.  Blago was replaced by Pat Quinn, at 5:40 CST yesterday. Besides Blago,  we will now revisit the so-called “Stimulus” bill.  For this bill, it looks like we have some partisan support!  In the House, every Republican voted against the bill, along with 14 Democrats.  The bill, of course, still passed.  Nothing really surprising there. Looking at what happened with that vote, I consider that a great milestone for the Republicans.

Conservatism isn’t out the window after all, but it’s actually stronger than ever. I think it’s good to see this happening in the Republican party.  But the fight is far from over.  This is a fight for jobs.  A fight between ideals.  A fight to keep the solid principles of conservatism in place.  It will a brutal, ongoing struggle, to fight for the liberties and virtues that made this country great. What fight? What struggle?  I don’t see one!  You either see it or you don’t.  Perception is one thing that the Propaganda has mastered.  Their desire is control, and to attack all opposition that stands in its way. That bill, when passed, will push unemployment in the U.S. up to 10%.  It’s 7% right now.

What we need is a tax cut.  A tax cut is good during a recession.  It can put money back into our pockets and bring a true stimulus to the economy. What we have instead is a spending bill.  A bill that’s full of wasteful spending.  I don’t know if you had time to look at it yet, but it’s just outrageous.  Sure, there’s some jobs in there, but they are only temporary.  Putting sod on the National Mall doesn’t lead to a career.  I’m sorry.  What we need are real jobs.  More industry and commerce that can repair the crippling private sector.

Wait a second! This bill does stimulate after all!  It’s a government stimulus bill. From what I see here, I can clearly say that it is another lie from President Obama.  Before his election,  he said that there wouldn’t be any pork barrel spending in Washington.  It didn’t take that long for him to break that promise.  You see, after an election, the one elected reverts to their original form.  They can take off the fake colors they were wearing during the election.  It shouldn’t be like this.  In a perfect world, an elected president will keep ALL their promises.  But in the end, unfortunately, it’s all about their agenda. Obama and his Regime will throw their bumper sticker mantras for people to repeat.  Perhaps Obama should be more truthful.   Wait a second! Truth doesn’t exist.  It only exists behind closed doors at the White House.

I’m sick of living in a divided country, built by the differences that separate us.  It’s okay to vent and critique.  But we need to find a common ground and work together to solve this problem.  Rush has offered his plan to bridge the two parties.  We need to break this wall that we built that separates us.  Just like what happened in Berlin, when Reagan shouted “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Let’s all shout together in unison: “Mr. Reid, Mrs. Pelosi, and Mr. President, tear down this wall!” Let’s tear it down.

Will the real Obama please stand up?

President Obama just did something that was out of character yesterday.  When he met with some business leaders, he told them that business was the solution to the problem.  Sounding like Ronald Reagan, he said this:

In the end! The answer to our economic troubles rests less in my hands or in the hands of our legislators than it does with America’s workers and the businesses that employ them.  They are the ones whose efforts and ideas will determine our economic destiny just as they always have, for in the end it’s businesses — large and small — that generate the jobs, provide the salaries, and serve as the foundation on which the American people’s lives and dreams depend.  All we can do, those of us here in Washington, is to help create a favorable climate in which workers can prosper, businesses can thrive, and our economy can grow.

Now this is a stark contrast to what he told the people at George Mason University three weeks ago: Only government can provide the short-term boost necessary to lift us from a recession this deep and severe.  Only government can break the cycle that are (sic — is) crippling our economy.  That’s why we need to act boldly and act now, to reverse these cycles.  That’s why we need to restart the flow of credit and restore the rules of the road that will ensure a crisis like this never happens again.

What’s this?  We don’t just have one Obama but two Obamas!  But which one is the real one?  One Obama yesterday said that business is the solution.  The other Obama three weeks ago said that government is the solution. Here is the answer.  The second one is the real Obama.  The stunt that he pulled yesterday was to try to persuade the Republicans to vote for his stimulus bill….er, um….porkulus bill (excuse me!).  In order to do this, he used their lingo and imitated Reagan. There is further proof to this answer when you look at the porkulus bill.

There’s nothing stimulating about this bill.  It’s filled to the brim, oozing with pork.  There’s nothing in it to help businesses!  Here are a few of the useless items in this bill: $1 billion for Amtrak, $2 billion for child-care subsidies; $50 million for the National Endowment of the Arts; $400 million for global warming research (Wait! Hasn’t global warming been disproved by 650 of the world’s leading climatologists?) ; $2.4 billion for clean coal; $650 million for even more digital TV conversion coupons; $600 million for new government cars; $7 billion for modernizing federal buildings; $150 million for the Smithsonian; and $54 billion for Economic Development Office and Small Business Administration programs that the OMB or GAO have already analyzed to be “ineffective.” And let’s not forget the $4.19 billion that will be going to support Obama’s army for his next election (I covered this yesterday).

So much pork in this bill, and nothing to help the private sector.   This is a bill to grow government and grow it fast.  The Neo-Roosevelt plan: New Deal II. Now why does President Obama want Republican support on this bill?  He already has enough Democrats to pass it.  He wants their support so he can say there was “bipartisan support” on it and if the plan fails, the Republicans can share the blame with the Democrats.  He only wants the Republicans for cover.  Call it insurance if you will. Looking at the bill, a  lot of these items don’t go into effect until 2010.  This is the year when the Republican presidential candidates will begin campaigning.

This bill was written to buy more votes.  As more people lose jobs, more people will need welfare.  Shouldn’t government just cut our taxes, get out of the way, and let us work and prosper?  Don’t count on it.  Not under the Obama Regime. Now what if the bill works, and no Republicans support it?  That could spell the end of the Republican party forever. In looking at the job climate, the decline is supposed to continue.  But wait?  What about the 4 million jobs projected?  President Obama expects that spending the over $800 billion will create that many jobs.  From that data, the cost per job would be $217,000.  That’s five times more than what the average American makes.  Something doesn’t add up with this information.  That much will go to the bill, not to the creation of jobs. To close, I would like to share my attempt at humor.  Here is an excerpt from what I call “The Real Obama”

And there’s a million of us just like me who tax like me, who tell a lot of lies like me who deceive like me, who hide a lot of truth like me It just might be the next big thing you’re telling me!

That’s all I wrote for the lyrics.  Stick around.  I’ll keep you updated as the action unfolds….

The casualties are on the rise….

Yes.  Casualties.  And it couldn’t happen any closer to home!  Home Depot killed 7,000.  Sprint killed 8,000 and Pfizer killed 8,000 more.  If you include Caterpillar, that’s 40,000 casualties in one day.  Losing this many jobs in one day is devastating. Rush made another interesting point yesterday, when he compared the loss of jobs with the loss of U.S. casualties in Iraq.

During the Bush Administration,  the Propaganda kept a running tally of each soldier killed in Iraq.  For each day our soldiers were killed, they let you know exactly how many were killed, expressing their hatred and contempt for the surge and the War on Terror. And guess what?  The surge worked! For the first time, Iraqis can elect a leader into office.  This was all possible from our past president’s decision to liberate Iraq. With President Obama in office, however, our national safety is going to take a turn for the worst.  Recently, he has closed the prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where some of the terrorists were kept.

With the prison closed, where is he going to send them? What’s worst is that he’s allowing them all to have a trial.  Terrorists don’t have rights!  Do prisoners have rights?  Are all the prisoners in this country going to be tried again?  How about all the murderers and sex offenders?  Are we going to let them all go and give them a fair trial?  Of course not!  When you give a prisoner rights that they forfeit,  you destroy the whole purpose of the prison system. President Obama says that Muslims are good people.  I agree with that, but the radical Muslims are not!  They are the ones that attacked our World Trade Center on 9/11, remember?

The radicals are waging Jihad on us, and on the world!  Why would Obama give these extemists the right to a fair trial? Obama is cutting spending on our National Defense.  He is lifting the protective barrier that Bush gave us when he was in office.  The protective barrier that Bush FOUGHT for every day when he was in office.  You could very well say that we, the United States of America, are painting a huge bullseye on our backs.  It is about as dumb as a soldier removing his armor and running toward the enemy shouting, “Come and get me!” What do you think the other countries think of us?  Their new president is cutting back on their national defense and releasing terrorists.  What’s wrong with this picture?  What’s happening over there in America?

Back on our shores, we’re seeing the dawn of a new kind of war.  Rush calls this war the “Obama War on Prosperity”.  Looking back at how the Propaganda told us how many jobs were lost,  shouldn’t they keep one on the number of jobs killed each day under the Obama Regime?  Entrepreneurship is being killed, one job at a time.  Trillions of dollars are being siphoned from the private sector’s pocket and transferred into Uncle Sam’s.  And you don’t decide whether you win or lose.  That will be up to the government. It’s outrageous how people can get so upset on how a business overspends their money.

But when the government overspends, it’s no big deal.  Why?  Because the people think that they can benefit from that.  The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.  Wait! That’s not fair!   Of course it isn’t.  That’s what happens in business.  It’s about taking risks.  Some succeed and some fail.  Some build their success from past failures. Would you rather have everything be fair?  Fairness and prosperity are mutually exclusive.  Fairness punishes prosperity.

Think about it.  If everything was fair,  nobody could advance.  Everyone would receive the same wage.  If you tried to make more, you would be discouraged from doing so, since that wouldn’t be fair for everyone else. We are on the verge of seeing that happen.  With the government beginning to gobble up the private sector,  we are seeing the loss of jobs left and right.  Jobs that came from BUSINESSES we worked for to pay the taxes.

With all these jobs beginning to disappear,  how are they even going to pay for their $1 trillion dollar “stimulus” plan? More taxes.  They will begin to dig deeper into your pockets.   Hold on to your money.  This is going to hurt you more than it’s going to hurt me. Furthermore, they will use some of that to finance their next election.  Around $4 billion is going toward ACORN, and voter fraud organizations.  We are actually funding Obama’s army.  This is not a stimulus plan.  It’s more like a “porkulus plan”. This is more insanity than I can stand.  Thank goodness for Rush and conservative media.  Now that’s one piece of sanity that I can hang on to.

Rush’s 46/54 Stimulus Plan: The ONLY true Bipartisan plan out there.

Source: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_012609/content/01125108.guest.html

If the Democrats really want to be bipartisan with the Republicans,  they would have a plan that would be truely bipartisan. But wait?  Didn’t they say they were bipartisan?  Yes, but their definition is wrong.  Bipartisanship for them is having all the Republicans caving in and agreeing with them.  THIS is not bipartisanship.  Bipartisanship is working together to solve a problem.

Just yesterday, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh.  In a time like this, he is a breath of fresh air.  He’s one of the very few voices of reason we have in a country that is inundated with the Propaganda. Anyway,  I was listening to Rush, when I heard him mention that President Obama made an alarming statement about him.  President Obama told Republicans on Capital Hill to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh. You see,  President Obama and his Regime wants to marginalize mainstream conservative media and attack capitalism.  His plan is based on rule #13 from the school of Saul D. Alinsky and his book: Rules for Radicals: “Pick the target. freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

This is exactly how Obama will attempt to establish “bipartisanship”.  Get the Republicans to cave in and agree with him and there you go! This country is sinking deeper and deeper into a recession and instead of working together, we’re completed divided.  Red on one side, and blue on the other.  The problem won’t get solved having the reds surrender to the blue’s ideas.  Let us combine the ideas from both sides and work out a compromise. Enter Rush’s Bipartisan Stimulus plan.

Yesterday on the radio, at 1:00 p.m. EST on the Rush Limbaugh Show, Rush explained a plan that he called “The Obama-Limbaugh Bipartisan Stimulus Plan of 2009”.  Now Rush is not fooling here.  This was a serious proposal that he made yesterday on his program.  In his plan,  he mentioned how $1 trillion was generated by American taxpayers in the private sector.  That’s right.  The very sector Obama is trying to demonize and take over generated $1 trillion for the government.  Congress wants to spend this money they don’t even have until you and me go to work and pay taxes. There is no compromise in President Obama’s plan.  It’s Obama’s way, or the highway.  As I mentioned before, he misdefines bipartisanship and thinks that he can establish that by Republicans agreeing with his plan.  That is not bipartisanship.  That is conformity.

If you want to hear a truly bipartisan plan, keep reading.  Rush’s plan is truly fair and both sides can get what they want. Rush’s plan is based on the votes from the 2008 Presidential Election.  What are those numbers?  Fifty-three percent of voters voted for Obama.  Forty-six percent of voters voted for Senator McCain and the remaining one percent voted for nutcases.  We’ll give Obama that extra percent, adjusting his numbers to 54%. Now Rush, in his plan, wants Democrats to have $540 billion of that trillion to spend their way, and $460 billion for Republicans to spend their way.  Each party can spend their money and we can see which stimulus plan actually works.

Do we all work for the government?  No! That would be socialism.  Of course we don’t!  A lot of us work for businesses.  The problem, however, is that our country is not that attractive with a 35% corporate tax rate, which is the highest corporate tax rate among industrialized nations.  Rush wants the rate cut in half.  Now wouldn’t this make sense?  More businesses! More jobs!  Isn’t this what we want? Yes, but it isn’t what President Obama wants.  He and his cronies are out to make business look bad and government look good.  He wants us to think of business the same way we think of communism.

His PR machine and fiance the Propaganda is chanting the mantra “Government good, business bad.” Getting back to Rush’s plan,  I think that it is a great plan.  But it would only work if President Obama gives it the time of day.  Why should we fight, Democrat versus Republican,  when we can work out a compromise together and get something done?  The pressing issue is jobs right now, and bringing this dying economy back to life. I say we give it a try.  What have we got to lose?  Let’s unite, work together, and fix this broken economy.  Who’s with me?
