I never mentioned this on Tuesday, but this is a first in a while.
For the past six weeks, I have had at least one Toastmasters meeting a week. Looking at this week , it is the first time that I don’t have to go to any Toastmasters meetings. Now don’t get me wrong. I like Toastmasters as much as the next person. But in having meetings six weeks in a row, it was a little heptic with that kind of schedule.
This morning, I will be working an even longer shift, thanks to a crazy order that will be made in the morning. I work a 9 to 3 at the “pizza pit”. And if the grass is dry enough, I will be mowing grandma and grandpa’s lawn. And at 5:30 p.m., I will have having dinner at their house. After dinner, I will be crawling into bed, wondering where the heck the day went.
For Friday, I won’t hold my breath. My friend Jeff may want to hang out on that day. That leaves Saturday that I can enjoy, free and clear. No early shifts, no lawns to mow, no dinners to eat at and no visitors. I don’t mind some of these things every once in a while, but sometimes I just want a little Me time.
Ghost Muse: Sounds like a busy day. I’ll let you get ready, since you have a long day.
Thank you.
Today’s high is going to be 81 degrees and the silver lining will be tonight’s dinner.
To those of you who have busy days, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: If a letter doesn’t work, maybe I need to try something else. But what? *sigh*
