Me & My Muse – Day 422: Greatness Awaits…

Well, it happened.  What happened, you ask?  The clue is in the image above.  That’s right.  Just yesterday, me and my brother just bought a PlayStation 4.

My brother did, actually.  With his employee discount, he was able to get a deal at work.  In addition to that, he had a $10 coupon that he used.  I still have to pay the $185 that I owe him.  This will happen in two installments, which will begin on the 19th.

Before you start asking what games I got or if I played it, I will tell you up front.  I did not plug it in yet.  It is still in the box, and will remain there until Christmas.  This is an early Christmas gift.  One that me and my brother decided to acquire before the Christmas rush.  My prediction is that the PlayStation 4 will be hard to find around the holiday season.

That’s the first bit of greatness that awaits.  The greatness that also awaits is my story that I’m working on.  With a closing shift tonight, I need to get going on it immediately.  There will also be an update about my story soon, so keep your eyes out for that.

Muse:  Another console?  Don’t you have enough of those?

I do, but this is for Christmas.

Muse:  I know, but it wasn’t really necessary.  Besides, they’re probably going to drop the price.  Imagine the money you could’ve save after they drop it…

That’s if we could even find one.  According to my prediction, it won’t be easy to find one this holiday season.  The PS4 has already sold over 10 million consoles worldwide,  and we haven’t even gotten to November yet…

Muse:  Well, continue on your book.  I can’t wait to see what unfolds…

Will do.  I need a shower first…

That’s the gist for today.  Work on my story (since I made zero progress yesterday), work a closing shift (3-10) and go to bed.

Today’s high is going to be 81 degrees and the silver lining is getting a PS4.

To those of you who like buying early Christmas gifts for yourself, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  Another closing shift?  That’s going to require the prayer room for sure.  Dear God, please help Kyle…
