First of all, I would like to express my discontent about the weather.  Yesterday, it was 65 degrees.  Yes.  65 in July!  Really?  Polar vortex, y u trolling?

Anyway, the cold weather is supposed to go away, so that’s a good thing.

On another note, Mandatory Fun was awesome.  I listened to it last night and the parodies were hilarious.  There were parodies from Iggy Azalea, Lorde, Robin Thicke, Imagine Dragons and Pharrel Williams.  In addition to that, there were some good style parodies and I loved the polka medley.  In the medley he included artists like Miley Cyrus, Foster the People, One Direction, Psy, Carly Rae Jepson, will.i.am & Brittney Spears, Gotye, Pitbull, LMFAO, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Daft Punk.

Overall, Mandatory Fun was mandatory fun.  A few good songs worth noting include Handy, Foil, Word Crimes, Inactive and Tacky.  But to be fair, I will give this album a full review.  Expect that in the week or two, as I would like a few more music videos to release for his album.  This will happen, as Weird Al plans on releasing 8 music videos with one released per day.

Now for the task at hand.  I have the back lawn to mow.  And that means a whole lot of mowing.  On top of that, I work a six-hour shift today.  It’s kind of nice, since I get to practice my Crew Leader job a little more.

 

And now…wait.  She’s not coming out, is she?  *sigh*  It looks like my Muse is becoming shy now, and the confidence void is beginning to invade her…And from what I saw with the Shy Muse, this is only going to get worse…

Remedy:  It already is.  She won’t even let me visit her.  When I forced my way in, I was banished out.  Despite my unshakable confidence, I felt like I almost lost it all…

What do we do then, if she can take even our unshakable confidence?

Remedy:  I am working on something new.  It’s a formula that will produce confidence inside you.  It never runs out and it greatly increases production when you are running out.  This can even stand up to her powerful void.

But why now?  I’m thinking that it’s because she has that new body now.

Remedy:  That is correct.  As a ghost, she was affected inside her.  But since her departure, that void had no host.  When you gave her that body, that void that would’ve infected her immediately latched onto her and began growing.  It began sapping every bit of confidence that she had inside of her.

And now she has no confidence.

Remedy:  Exactly.  The void will keep spreading to those who have been inside her world.

What about me?

Remedy:  With that unshakable confidence, the void was not able to break inside.  That Dark Muse had some too, so she should be fine.

I’m worried about my Muse.  I’m sure that she wants me to visit her, but that confidence is short lived with the void growing inside her…

Remedy:  I’ll think of something.  I’m think about combining the confidence formula with the unshakable confidence.  But to kill a void, it must be done on the inside.  You will need to go inside her and go to the source.  Her heart.

But Muses have worlds inside them!  Not organs!

Remedy:  They do.  But this heart is different.  A Muse’s heart is a lot larger vessel and it stands at the center of the world that is inside them.  It is closely protected as this is the most sensitive part of who they are.  The shape is different and it doesn’t look like an organ.

Okay.  I have a lawn to cut.

Remedy:  I’ll let you tend to your affairs.  In the meantime, I will keep working on a cure.  Good day to you!

Intangible story arc aside, my day consists of cutting a lawn and working.  But a four day weekend awaits, so that’s a good thing… 🙂

Today’s high is going to be 70 degrees and the silver lining is having only six more hours to work and being able to practice my new job some more.
