Me & My Muse – Day 127: Farewell to Foliage – Part II

It was an all day struggle, but in the end, I won.  The leaves lost.  It was futile for the foliage.

From sun up to sun down, I raked up piles and dragged the piles into the woods.  Rake and drag.  Rake and drag.  Rake and drag.  Wash, rinse repeat.

The only breaks I had during the day was a bathroom break, a one-hour lunch break and a brief break to drop mom off to get her van back.

Other than that, it was nothing but working on the yard.  The first part in the morning was done myself.  My brother helped with the front yard in the afternoon after lunch.  From that point, we both worked until dark, with the last piles right underneath the streetlight.

Muse:  All in a day’s work, right?

You can say that again!

Muse:  All in a day’s work, right?

Heh.  I see what you did there.

Muse:  Just joking around.  I know that you had a long day.  Like I said before, no pressure on the reading and writing.  Enjoy your evening!  Time for a delicious dinner of ideas….

All in a day’s work indeed!  I am exhausted.  But not too exhausted to inform you of my activities.  I am starving and I’m very eager to have dinner.

Today’s high was 34 degrees and the silver lining was finishing the leaves.

To all of you who have put in a hard day of work, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  He worked all day long!  Kyle should be getting some good sleep tonight!
