Me & My Muse – Day 118: Falling Back – Part II

So have you done it yet?  Have you turned your clocks back?  If you forget to do this, you’re going to be a little early for work tomorrow morning.

Right now, it would be almost 2:30 in the afternoon. But it’s not, since we have fallen back.  Instead, it is almost 1:30 in the afternoon.   Oh, I just love standard time!

Muse:  It’s nice, but the only drawback is shorter days.

I know.  It’s going to get dark at 6:00 instead of 7:00.

Well, it’s time to wrap this up.

Muse:  Again? Oh no you don’t!

Fine.  You don’t want me to read more of The Silmarillion or write more of The Tale of Zachary Willowbrook: The School Years?

Muse:  I do.  In fact, you’re way overdue.  That’s 17 days of no reading and 15 days of no writing.  Better get started!  While you’re doing that, I am going to organize my wardrobe.

You go do that.  Time to get started….

Today’s high is going to be 45 degrees and the silver lining will be getting more progress done on my reading and writing.  Again, don’t forget to turn your clocks back!  You don’t want to put yourself in an awkward situation….

To all of you who love the change to standard time, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  There.  Everything’s organized by color and type.  I hear my unfinished romance novel calling me.  I’m coming!
