So, what did I do today?  I hit the ground running and attended an early morning networking event.

At the Great Hall this morning, I attended WakeUp!  Midland, a B2B networking event put on by the Midland Business Alliance.  More than 300 businesses in the Great Lakes Bay area attend the event and it gives them a chance to connect with other businesses in the area.

It also gives me a chance to network with these businesses with the intended hope to land a full time job.  The people that I usually try to target are those in HR or a Hiring Manager looking to fill a position.  Any of those two groups are not just their to boost their business, but are looking to fill a position.

In my networking this morning, I found some familiar faces and a few new ones.  One of them was a franchise owner that I used to work with at Little Caesars.  At this point, a third of the attendees already have my card, so I try to target the newer businesses and attendees.

After that, the rest of the day was just typical Friday stuff.  I touched bases with my networking contact to meet next week.  Also, if you know of any good leads, please let me know!

Muse:  Is this a reboot?  Me & My Muse hasn’t been regular in a while.

Yes.  Consider this a soft reboot.  From the story in 2020, we will resume from that point.  If you need a refresher, go ahead and read this entry.

Muse:  So, we’re not starting from 1?

No.  And if you want Official Canon for those lost days, my Muse was in stasis during those days…

Muse:  Yeah.  We’ll go with that.  Anyway, back to my spot!

Twin Muse:  I’m ready, Kyle!  Let’s continue this arc from where we last left off in 2020!

Very well!  With it being the evening now, I’m going to unwind with some more Super Mario RPG now.  I will then take it easy and go to bed.  So glad that another weekend is here.

Today’s high is going to be 34 degrees and the silver lining is being able to attend WakeUp!  Midland this morning.

Twin Muse:  I am SO glad that we’re FINALLY resuming the arc!  Time for some more video games!  I already got 100 Super Jumps so it’s time to kick butt with my Level 6 Mario.  Tee hee!
