Me & My Muse – Day 2266: Summer Outro

Once again, the time has come to say goodbye to summer.

For 2019, what events were the most memorable?  What were the most memorable events in the Summer of 2019?

First of all, I watched 1992 Aladdin on VHS, went to the food trucks, wished mom a happy 60th birthday, met at the Crain’s house for a barbeque, spent Father’s Day with my dad and family, going to Life Group, seeing Toy Story 4, getting to Level 99 and beating Kingdom Hearts III, going to the Toastmasters TLI, Platinuming Kingdom Hearts III, having Fuji Sushi, going up north for the Fourth of July, celebrating six years of Me & My Muse, getting a free Slurpee, eating at Mollasses with my parents, beating and 100%ing story mode on Super Mario Maker 2, seeing The Avengers: Endgame again, watching Spider-Man: Homecoming, seeing Spider-Man: Far From Home, having District Officer Make-up training in Kentwood, going to the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio, having cheesecake with my aunt, uncle, and cousins at the Cheesecake Factory, getting a new cell phone, celebrating my 35th birthday with my family, having dinner at Ghengis Khan Mongolian Barbeque, getting a service project done at the Open Door, birthday dinner at grandma and grandpa’s, my niece Harper being born, watching the Lion King on VHS, Jeff coming over, seeing The Lion King (2019), having sushi at Fuji Sushi, having Maru Sushi with my brother, 9/11, and watching World Trade Center.

With Cold Stone Creamery still gone, I will be getting a Reese’s McFlurry at McDonald’s later on. I will also be eating a Klondike Bar at home.  Both will be gone before I know it.  Summer 2019 was the same way.  Gone just like that.  As I say goodbye to Summer 2019, I’ll admit that this summer was kind of busy, and it had its ups and downs.  It was a lot of fun, with some hot weather. For the most part, it was very wet in June and September, dry in July, and mild in August.  There were a bunch of fairly hot days but there could’ve been a lot more really hot ones.  With Summer 2020 just 9 months away, what will it bring?  Will it even come?  Who knows? There is no telling.

Farewell, Summer 2019.  You were quite a memorable summer.

Muse:  Kyle!  She’s been sleeping for too long again and I escaped.

That’s good to hear. Now, what did you think of my Summer Outro?

Muse:  It was wonderful.

Thanks.  It didn’t take much effort on my part.

Muse:  What do you mean?  Are you saying that you recycled it?

Shh!

Muse:  Well, it’s longer than yesterday at least.

And it’s a good way to end this summer.  By reflecting on it.  Time to enjoy myself and work more on my story.

Muse:  I’ll let you. Have fun working on your story!

Wasn’t this summer great?  Even though it wasn’t great to everyone, it did have its ups and downs.

Today’s high is going to be 84 degrees and the silver lining is having a Reeses Mcflurry.

To those of you who had a memorable Summer of 2019, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  I had a memorable summer!  I went from a Zorpozian to a tween.  I wonder when I’m going to wake up?  Time for another selfie!  Tee hee!
