I have just one word that can sum up why Fridays are so relieving: Relief.
After a very busy and stressful shift today. a relaxing afternoon is what I needed to wrap up this week. I cashed my paycheck, got my Trump/Pence bumper sticker, exchanged my $2 bills for ones at the bank (sorry, I have no plans on saving these), bought my snacks for the weekend, and came home.
Since then, I have done some laundry, caught up on my expenses, and paid my one bill that I had. I am all ready for the new fiscal quarter, which begins tomorrow.
What’s left? Just enjoy this evening and this weekend. My friend won’t be coming over this weekend, so that will leave me some time to work on my Next Steps for Ideation. I will be re-reading some Think & Writes and will be working on the mapping for this. I will also write a new My Writing Journey, which will entail looking for comparables who are doing the same thing that I am doing, only a lot better. This will be interesting, as it is very important to set yourself apart from your competition. Your unique brand is what sets you apart from all of your competitors. More on this will be elaborated in the next My Writing Journey, so stay tuned.
My Muse has been pretty quiet today. When I visited, she was sleeping. Having done a reading on her vitals with my One Privilege, it looks like she is 1.25 months today. She is 16 inches long and she weighs 3.59375 pounds. The size of a micro preemie. With such a tiny body, sleeping is all she can do to build up her strength. The simplest things can take a lot out of her.
Well, I will visit her tomorrow. Hopefully, she will be older. For now, I will enjoy this evening.
Today’s high is going to be 63 degrees and the silver lining is it finally being Friday and getting paid.
To those of you who are enjoying this Friday, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Nurture: She is still sleeping! I think that she only woke up twice today. During both times, I fed her. Sleep on, my little angel…
Muse: *snore* Ehhh…
