After yesterday’s crazy day, this really takes the cake.  To correct yesterday’s entry, I actually worked FIVE hours.  And I’ll be working another seven today.  Normally, this wouldn’t be too bad.  But it is, after seeing a movie last night that ends around midnight.  And did I mention that the shift starts at noon?  So much for relaxing.  I guess I can sleep during my time off and then work the next day, right?

I’m sorry everyone.  But I don’t understand what a “weekend” is.  For me, my week has no end.  It never does, when you’re stuck in part-time hell.

But be that as it may, I’m going to try to find happiness where it can be found.  Life is too short to grope about things that can’t be controlled.  At least for now.  Something great awaits me.  It’s just a matter of time.  And that’s something to smile about.

Today’s high is going to be 55 degrees and the silver lining is being able to breathe after tonight’s seven-hour onslaught (I’ll let you know if this is less than seven hours, as business is sometimes unpredictable on Saturdays).
