With Fall in full swing now, it is official. Daylight Savings Time has officially come to an end.
Now if you watch this occurrence closely like I do, you would know that Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00 a.m. But rather than waiting until 2:00 a.m., I like to celebrate it a day early. So right now, it is not almost noon, but almost 11:00.
Muse: To be totally honest, I don’t celebrate falling back a day early.
You don’t? Well you don’t know what you’re missing!
Muse: How can you know what the correct time is if you’re an hour earlier? I set my clock back before I go to bed.
Well, I don’t. I already set it back an hour. It’s almost 11:00 and I work at 1:00.
Muse: Well, I live in the present, not the past. You work at 2:00, and it’s almost lunchtime.
*sigh* I can see that we’re not going to agree on this. Set your clock back whenever you like, but I’m celebrating falling back all day. It’s so great having that extra hour at your disposal!
Muse: I’ll enjoy that tomorrow, thank you very much. Now it’s time for lunch. For me, at least. You’ll have to wait another hour. Au Revoir!
Today will be enjoyable, having that extra hour a day early. My Muse doesn’t have that advantage, since she’s a spoilsport.
The high today will be 46 degrees and the silver lining will be celebrating falling back a day early. I may be going to my friend’s house tonight. If he’s busy, I’ll be seeing a movie instead.
To all of you who like falling back a day early, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: Three minutes to noon. Time for lunch! I’m not stuck in the past like Kyle is….
