There is another reward in the horizon.  One that I had to jump over hoops to make happen.

Okay. Maybe not hoops, but I had to make changes in my work schedule in order to make this happen.

Tonight, I will be having a dinner with the former members of Sensational Speakers.  If you have read last month’s post, you would know that Sensational Speakers has closed.  In closing, there is still plenty of money left in the account.  And with the money remaining, me and the rest of the former committee need to decide how that money is going to be spent.

On another note, my mom’s birthday is today.  as the notable expression goes, she has turned “double nickels” today.  She is currently in Keystone, seeing Mount Rushmore right now.  Seeing “The Heads” is a really good birthday gift, and I hope that she enjoys it.  Happy birthday mom, if you are reading this.

Now before I have my dinner tonight, I have one more shift at the “pizza pit”.  And for the record, this will be my sixth day in a row of working.  Tomorrow, I get my much deserved day off.  That is today in a nutshell.

Today’s high is going to be 75 degrees and the silver lining is having an awesome dinner at the Olive Garden.
