That’s what I’m having for lunch, at least. It is a BBQ chicken pizza. Before you start getting any ideas, don’t ask. The pizza is not for sale. If you were to come into our store and ask for a BBQ chicken pizza, we cannot make it. We don’t sell chicken as a topping. My chicken meat came from 100% dissected chicken wings. It’s one of the perks of working here. Being able to make a special pizza that no one else can order.
As for last night, I got a break. I only had to work six hours instead of seven.
But with another four-hour shift in the horizon, I can hardly hold my breath. For you and everyone else, Sunday is today. But for me, Sunday is in two days. So in the meantime, I leave you with this short entry. I am going to enjoy my leftover pizza, which can also be a metaphor for the leftover shifts that I have spanning today and tomorrow. Two more days and I can rest. I will also be cleaning the bathroom, which is long overdue.
Today’s high is going to be 78 degrees and the silver lining is being able to enjoy this leftover pizza.
To those of you who love leftover pizza, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I’m so close to being done! Why is this letter taking so long to write? It’s not even that long either! *sigh*
