Survival is important. Especially when you live on a planet that signed its own death warrant when the industrialization of earth reached its peak 1,000 years ago. We will never forget the day. The day of the “Seven Days of Fire”. A monumental war that destroyed all of our world’s industries. The Toxic Jungle was left in its wake, which gave birth to new creatures that now populate our doomed planet to this day. Venturing outside is a risk when the Ohmu are around. Nowhere is safe and it hasn’t been safe for at least 1,000 years.
But the light shines the brightest in the darkest of places. The prophecy around these parts speak of a savior “clothed in blue” who will descend upon a “golden field” to reunite humanity and nature. This savior is Nausicaä, a 16-year-old princess from the tiny wind-swept area known as The Valley of the Wind.
This is the premise of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, the next wonderful movie in this marathon. And with it being made by Hayao Miyazaki, I just know that it will be a wonderful adventure.
Muse: It will be.
Twin Muse: Careful! It’s not safe to be outside with all the Ohmu flying about!
I think we’ll be fine. This will be a good movie. I will get ready and later on tonight, I will watch the movie.
Muse: Sounds good! I look forward to it!
Twin Muse: Same here! Time to fly!
*both Muse and Twin Muse take off in their gliders*
That’s the plan. Get ready and watch Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind later on.
Today’s high is going to be 33 degrees and the silver lining is seeing Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind later today.
To those of you who love finding hope in a post apocalyptic world, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: There! I found the princess!
Twin Muse: Let’s go talk to her! Nausicaä! Over here! We would like to aid you in your research!
