Me & My Muse – Day 3882: A Borrower…

There is a world among us. A world that typically goes unnoticed.  It is a world crawling with tiny insects. A world with plenty of hiding places.  Hiding places full of minuscule collections of food that would go unnoticed in our eyes.

More importantly, there is a world full of little people.  I’m talking tiny people that can fit in the palm of your hand.  These people are known as Borrowers, and if you find one, please leave it be. All they ask is to use a little bit of your resources, as such resources are needed for them to survive.

This is another setup for The Secret World of Arrietty, another classic written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

Twin Muse: I especially love this one. I think that it would be fun to be a Borrower.

Then why don’t you be one?  You were one four years ago!

Twin Muse: I know. I don’t know if I want to do that again.  I guess that it would just be kind of…silly.

Suit yourself. You’re the one who suggested it.

Twin Muse: Anyway, let me know when it comes on. I’m going to do some reading. Have a good day at work!

I certainly will.

Today’s high is going to be 50 degrees and the silver lining is seeing The Secret World of Arrietty later today.

To those of you who love Borrowers, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Twin Muse: Me? A Borrower? Maybe for just a little bit…Whoa! my book almost crushed me! That was close! This is fun, so far. I think I’ll explore my now-bigger house for a while…
