This pandemic may last a while, everyone.
For this very reason, it is very important to stay connected during this time. Now I know that this will not be easy, because of social distancing. But there are other ways to connect with people besides the normal one-on-one method. Use skype, Facetime, or Duo if you want to spend time with someone virtual.
Now for your situation. Are you with a few friends? Your family? Stay connected with all of them. You’re going to be spending a long time crammed into one house. Get to know each other. Play board games. Watch Netflix or a movie. Spend time connecting.
Now for those of you who are by yourselves during this pandemic. What do I do in this situation? What do I do if I am all by myself? Fortunately, my brother is living with me right now, so I am not by myself during this time. If you are by yourself, with nobody else to turn to, then I encourage you to connect with somebody. Find someone else who is all by themselves and have a virtual conversation with them. Go to the dating sites! Chances are there is someone else out there who is all by themselves who would love to have a good conversation with someone. Why don’t you be that person that cheers them up? Imagine the conversations that you could have with them. It would really make your day.
So everyone. Stay connected. During this time, I cannot stress it enough. If we can all stay healthy right now, we will be even more healthy when this is all over.
And to provide some hope for everyone, South Korea is beginning to rebound. If everyone followed the regulations here, our situation could be very much like theirs. Now, the cases will multiply around here. But if we’re diligent, we could see a rebound in either April or May. Mid to late April at the earliest.
Having that said, I will do my connecting with my family today and with my brother when he gets home. That is pretty much this day in a nutshell.
Stay sane, clean, and safe everyone!
Today’s high is going to be 33 degrees and the silver lining is being able to connect with my family and have a day off to relax.
To those of you who are connecting with others, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I’m connecting with my parents and I’ll be connecting with you later. I will keep praying for those in the medical field…
