That’s what it felt like today.  With another weekend out of the picture, a new work week has begun.  And as I am typing this, I can gladly say that the first one is already done.

After finishing work for the day, I went and did some shopping.  Now home, I’m going to relax and call it a day.  Mondays have the slowest traction, with the other four becoming progressively faster.

Today’s high is going to be 68 degrees, with the temperature gradually dropping down to 63 over the course of the day.  This spring like weather has been a disappointment so far.  I’m hoping for it to be more summery soon.  The silver lining is getting some shopping done.

While I may not be present on your birthday, I am still celebrating with you.

Today, I went to church with my grandparents and went to breakfast with them at Stacker’s.

Mom is celebrating her birthday up north, so I called her to wish her a happy birthday.  And you can’t have a birthday without cake, so my dad surprised her with a birthday cake up north.  So far, so good on the birthday front.

With that, I will get ready for tomorrow and then unwind for the remainder of the day.

Today’s high is going to be 74 degrees and the silver lining is it being my mom’s 60th birthday.

That pretty much sums up what I did today.  The dancing mini-game on my game was very cheap, and I’m not one to turn down a good challenge.  With the challenge a success, I checked out the food truck festival before it closed.  I got a Korean Taco and some s’more mini donuts.

I  also saw Toy Story to prepare for Toy Story 4, so that was fun.  All in a day’s work!

Today’s high is going to be 81 degrees and the silver lining is having some delicious food from the food truck.

Having finished this week, I am doing so with some yawns.  But do not be mistaken.  These yawns are good yawns.  From these yawns, there is a yawn of accomplishment.  A yawn of satisfaction.  A yawn of happiness.  A yawn of relief.

Yes.  The weekend is here now and I can officially take a breather.  I will now review my schedule and see what is available for me to do.  I am going to assess what I can do and will play more of my game if I can find nothing else to do.

This morning, the coffee maker bit the dust.  Despite the reservoir being full and the grounds all filled up, it would not make any coffee.  The pump went bust and would not pump any of the hot water through the filter and into the carafe.

To remedy that, I doubled my coffee consumption at work and was good to go.

After work today, I came home to a new coffee maker.  This one can make coffee 20% faster and can brew it much richer.  To that, I have only one thing to say.  YEAH COFFEE!  Time for bed now.

Today’s high is going to be 75 degrees and the silver lining is getting a new coffee maker.

In being done with work for the day, I am tired.  As a result, this is all you get for the day.  Time to unwind.

While the isn’t really “toasty”, there is one event to “toast” to tonight.  With work all finished, I will be going to a Toastmasters meeting.  A meal at Taco Bell will follow.  That’s pretty much it for today.

To reflect, I can honestly say that this weekend turned out differently than the way that I expected it to.  I am glad that my grandpa feels a lot better and I am praying for his recovery.

For today, it’s going to be a little different.  For church, I will be attending next week since I wanted this weekend to reflect my original plans.  If I were returning from my trip.  I would’ve gotten home at 3:00 in the morning and I would probably still be sleeping right now.  With that, this day is one last hurrah.  Starting tomorrow will be another work week, so I better enjoy this day while it lasts.

Since I don’t have to worry about spending all day traveling back to Michigan (since I’m already in Michigan), this weekend will be nice and quiet and very chill.

My grandpa is doing a lot better and he should be released today from the hospital.  In the meantime, I will probably be spending my time playing my game and maybe watching some videos.  That’s pretty much the gist for today.
