As of this year, Midland Toastmasters, the club that I regularly attend, is 60 years old.  To celebrate this occasion, my club has organized a celebration that will take place at someone’s house.  I will bring two pizzas from work and some spinach dip as my contribution for food.

As for the meeting today, not much happened.  I spoke to two women and provided them with my resume.  Having that said, the search will continue tomorrow.  On the bright side, Dow will be holding a hiring event at the Dow Event Center in early August, so I’ll definitely get prepared for that.

I will now get ready.  I will be leaving soon to pick up the pizzas and then go to the Midland Toastmasters 60 year celebration.  That’s pretty much this day in a nutshell.

Today’s high is going to be 80 degrees and the silver lining is being able to celebrate 60 years of my club’s history.
