Once again, the time has come to say goodbye to summer.
For 2016, what events were the most memorable? What were the most memorable events in the Summer of 2016?
First of all, I had dinner at Maru Sushi, got my car repaired, had a business meeting at Midland Evangelical Free Church, met with Jan Lampman, went to ideation and met Caryn, had Toastmasters DEC training, saw uncle Kelly, went to a Toastmasters DEC year-end training, going to the Toastmasters TLI, saw Weird Al in concert, went to a speak-a-thon, seeing fireworks at the Tridge, earning my ALS, earning my DTM, going up north, getting a free Slurpee, celebrating three years of Me & My Muse, going to make-up training, seeing Hillary’s America, going up north again, celebrating my 32nd birthday, having dinner at Genji with Jeff, having dinner at Genghis Khan Mongolian Barbeque, beating Super Mario RPG, birthday dinner at grandma and grandpa’s, going to Toastmasters members appreciation night at Pam’s house, seeing Pete’s Dragon, having Maru Sushi again, 9/11, watching World Trade Center, celebrating my six-year work anniversary, and going to the Foor’s and Landenberger’s Life Groups.
With Cold Stone Creamery still gone, I will be getting Michigan Pothole Ice Cream at Heather & Holly’s later on. That ice cream will be gone before I know it. Summer 2016 was the same way. Gone just like that. As I say goodbye to Summer 2016, I’ll admit that this summer was kind of busy. It was a lot of fun, with a lot of hot weather. There were a lot of hot days but there could’ve been some more really hot ones. With Summer 2017 just 9 months away, what will it bring? Will it even come? Who knows? There is no telling.
Farewell, Summer 2016. You were quite a memorable summer.
Remedy: I’m glad that you were able to enjoy your summer.
I was. How’s Nurture?
Remedy: She’s doing fine now. All she needed was some rest.
How’s my Muse? I’m going to be leaving in a bit.
Remedy: She’s sleeping right now. She’s only 3 weeks old today! She’s 15.5 inches long and weighs 3.15625 pounds. Smaller than a preemie.
I’m guessing that she’s been sleeping all day!
Remedy: Pretty much. She is pretty tiny…
She is. This post is a good way to end this summer. By reflecting on it. Time to get ready for ideation.
Remedy: I’ll let you. Have fun at ideation!
Wasn’t this summer great? Even though it wasn’t great to everyone, it did have its ups and downs.
Today’s high is going to be 81 degrees and the silver lining is having Michigan Pothole ice cream.
To those of you who had a memorable Summer of 2016, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Nurture: Aw…My little Musie is so cute sleeping. Sleep on, my little princess…
Muse: *snore* Ehhhahhhh…
