In about an hour and a half, I will be taking off for another Toastmasters meeting, but that’s not all.

Right after the meeting, I will be going up north for the weekend.  So I’m not just practicing a speech for tonight.  I’m also packing for the weekend.

 

Remedy:  Kyle.  Muse is getting more and more powerful.  I don’t have any idea where she got it from…

Neither do I.  Could she have just gotten more and more powerful on her own?

Remedy:  I can tell you from experience that this is certainly not the case.  Her powers rival even mine and Nurture’s.  Both of them combined!

Maybe someone gave her the powers.  But not to worry.  I have my One Privilege…

Remedy:  That’s it!  She somehow acquired one of your privileges.  Quite possibly a weaker version of your One Privilege.

That would be the Master’s Privileges…oh no.  So she has THAT?

Remedy:  I’m afraid so.  And with her being at the age where she is unable to control her powers, she is causing all kinds of trouble.  Even in her sleep!

Did you escape?

Remedy:  No.  She’s taking her nap right now.  Trust me.  If she awakens, I will immediately appear right next to her.  So will Nurture.

This isn’t fair.  Why should you have a two-year old Muse telling you what to do?

Remedy:  She’s 28 months, and we have no choice, since she has already demonstrated the consequences of us disobeying her…

As in?

Remedy:  She turned Nurture into a stuffed animal.  I had to beg her to change her back.  I couldn’t do it with my own powers!  She is that powerful.

And at 28 months, she’s 31 inches and 24 pounds.  The height of the 16 month old and the weight of a 19 month old.

Remedy:  That Dark Muse must be extracted from her somehow.  She has no desire to learn anything new.  She must…thrive…

*Remedy vanishes in a beam of light*

I’m guessing that Muse is waking up now.  I hope that some solution can be worked out to save her and ensure her healthy development.

I will now get ready for tonight’s meeting and trip up north.

Today’s high is going to be 93 degrees and the silver lining is going to tonight’s meeting and going up north.

Muse:  Where were you, daddy?

Remedy:  I was just…getting some fresh air.

Muse:  Don’t leave me, daddy!  Change me now!

Remedy:  What about mommy?

Muse:  Mommy already did it.  I goed again.  Change me!

Remedy:  *sigh* Right away, dear…

*Remedy begins to change Muse*

Muse:  Tee hee hee hee hee hee!!!

*Muse flashes intensely with a bright flashing aura around her*
