With today starting early at work, I was able to end it early.  And with it being payday and at the end of the week, this turned out perfect.

 

Muse:  What is your request, master?

Master?  Why are you calling me master?

Muse:  You bought me, remember?  $5  was the price you paid.

I never remember buying any slaves.

Muse:  It’s right here in writing!  You bought me!  Now, your entire household is clean.  What do you want me to do next?

(I better play along to make it easier…)  You get the day off, slave.  Please enjoy it.  Celebrate your master’s kindness.

Muse:  Oh, I will!  Thank you, master!

*Muse bows down at my feet, stands up and smiles*

And take off those servant’s clothes.  You have the day off.  You earned it!

Muse:  I will.  Time to head home. Thanks again, master!

*Muse vanishes in a beam of light*

She doesn’t have to be a slave, but I guess this was her form today.  What will she be tomorrow?  Only time can tell.

I now need to get ready for tomorrow.  I get up really early so I’m going to bed early.

Today’s high is going to be 83 degrees and the silver lining is getting paid today.

Muse:  Oh.  My master is so kind!  It’s such a pleasure to work for him.  I don’t ever want to be free.  I should tell him.  Make me a slave for life!  My ear may hurt for a while, but it will totally be worth it…
