Fantastic why? Today is pay day and work went very swimmingly. I took every measure necessary to make sure that this would happen.
So what’s on tap for tonight? Books, books, and more books. I will have a smorgasbord for my brain. If you have read yesterday’s entry, I am determined to fully realize my passions and bring them to life. The key to this is reading a lot of good books that will trigger these passions and get me started in my endeavor. For my short stories, for any informational book that I want to write in the future, and of course, for my novels, I want to farm all the good ideas that I can. I want to farm the “keepers” and let the “runts” grow to their full potential. Some ideas are ready, while some may require more time to mature. More time to ripen and fully develop.
So is this a blog on self-help now? This is a blog of ideas and ideation. I think that I am so drawn to ideation because of what it accomplishes when you fully develop the ideas.
And if you read the caption on my blog title it says that The Walker Estate is “a place of solitude to house my thoughts, musings, and other slices of life”. A thought is the byproduct of the thinking process and musing is thinking on steroids. You are deeply in the zone, engrossed in your own thoughts. With ideation being a part of the process, it most certainly belongs in my blog description.
So there you have it. This is a laboratory where I can create my own experiments. Only the successful ones are given extra attention.
After creating the ideas, they definitely need to be implemented, or you are wasting your time. I am talking about great ideas that people sit on for years that have great potential. These ideas could be their business, but they are not doing anything with them. And to be totally honest, I could be the guilty party here.
And looking at the long list of ideas that I have, they will be executed in time. I have some short stories that could really use some wider exposure and the manuscript for my first novel that really needs to be re-doctored. There are various other manuscripts that would need extensive revision before any of them could be published.
But all of these projects will be executed in time. It all starts with one simple idea, gradually leading to the plan to execute it. I am ready for the next step, but first some books. Yum…
Muse: Hey Kyle! I feel a little different today.
What was that flash? It’s like you’re a projection or something.
Muse: I am. I have no physical form. I am made up of a bunch of tiny electrical particles.
So you’re just a digital hologram?
Muse: A very realistic one, but yes. The origin of my projection is just a bunch of computer code. Even the sound file. Someone recorded the sound of my voice and then modulated it to different frequencies.
So did you hear my discussion?
Muse: Yes. I love information. The more information that I am fed, the bigger I become.
You just don’t want a computer virus. That can really wreck havoc on your files and code.
Muse: Don’t worry. The anti-virus is running, so this program is not going to malfunction.
Speaking of information, I am going to acquire more information by reading a book. Now, if you would excuse me…
Muse: I will let you. Have fun!
I most certainly will.
Muse: Back to the source…
*Muse vanishes in a bright flash of pixels*
It’s now time to read. I’ll let you know how my idea farming goes.
The high for today is going to be 84 degrees and the silver lining is getting paid today.
To those of you who like having more money in your savings account, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I feel strange, and yet…limited. I wish that there were more instructions written for my program. I think that I’ll spy on Kyle and see what he’s doing…
