With work over for the day, I took care of business.  I went to Mo-Tech to get my squeaky bearing checked out.  It turned out that the sound didn’t have to do with the bearing at all, but the entire belt.  Since this belt was changed a few months ago, it was still under warranty so the parts and labor cost me nothing.  A new belt was put on and I was good to good.  The sound went away, so that problem was resolved.

With that finished, I am going to continue with getting things done.  I will…

 

Muse:  Your lunch is made for tomorrow, Kyle.

What?  I didn’t ask you to make my lunch.

Muse:  I washed and changed your bedding, too.

I think you’re going a little overboard…really?  You’re dressed up as a French maid!

Muse:  What else can I do?  You were the one that hired me.  The dress code that you laid out was very specific, and here I am.  Your merry maid at your service.

I don’t want a merry maid.  I never hired one.

Muse:  Yes you did.  You signed all these papers right here, remember?

Wow!  That is my signature.  I guess if this is part of her transformation, I might as well go along with it.

Muse:  I just cleaned your room, too.  Is there anything else that you want me to do?  I also posted your next blog, so having to type one is not necessary.

Just take a break.  You’ve earned one.

Muse:  I just took a break a few minutes ago.

Then take another.  I can’t think of anything else.

Muse:  If that is what you wish, sir, then I’ll take another break.  If there is anything at all that you need, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you.  I will now begin typing…whoa!  It’s already done!

Muse:  I already told you that I typed it.  Do you like it?

It’s fine.  It’s no different than what I would type.  In fact, this is exactly what I would type!  You’re pretty good!

Muse:  I’ll be in the break room.  Call me if you need anything!

I think I like this transformation.  But I don’t want her to spoil me too much.  There are some things that I can do by myself.

I will now continue getting some things done.  After that, I will take a break.  That’s pretty much this day in a nutshell.

Today’s high is going to be 48 degrees and the silver lining is getting a lot of things done.

Muse:  There.  I’m not really in the break room.  I can’t help but continue to serve him.  I laid out his work clothes for tomorrow, his pajamas for tonight, dusted his room and cleaned his windows.  I will now begin making his dinner.  I love this job!
