Having just returned from another speech contest, I am ready for the weekend.

And for my Muse, I’m hoping for something that’s not too annoying or demanding.  I am hoping that she is something that I can tolerate…

 

Muse:  Nice to see you again, Kyle.

So which Muse are you today?

Muse:  We’ve met before.  You saw me at the big celebration on Day 1000, remember?

There were a lot of Muses there.  Which one were you?

Muse:  I was the 401st floor receptionist.  I prayed that you had a safe journey to the top, remember?

Now I remember!  You’re Christian Muse!

Muse:  Yes I am, and it’s very nice to see you once again.  How was the contest?

It was okay.  I am kind of burned out right now.

Muse:  Then I’ll let you rest.  Do you need any prayer before you do?

Please pray that God clearly reveals his will for my life, and that I continue to walk in it.

Muse:  Here.  Hold hands with me and we’ll pray right now.

Okay.  I would appreciate that…

*holds hands with Muse*

Muse:  Dear heavenly father,  I would like to lift up my brother Kyle today, who is earnestly seeking out your will for his life.  Lord, in Proverbs you tell us to trust in you with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding.  And if we trust in you in all our ways, you will make our paths straight.  Thank you for this promise, Lord, and thank you for Kyle’s willingness to follow you and serve you.  Lord God, I ask that you make very clear to Kyle what your will is for his life, so that he can continue to walk in this way with all his heart.  And Lord, help Kyle to find rest today from his earlier activities.  And whatever else he does today, I ask that he does this for your glory.  Thank you Lord, for his desire for you and his desire to find what your will is for his life.  For Kyle, I ask that you grant all these things for him, in Jesus name, Amen.

Amen.  Thank you.  I will now enjoy the rest of my day.

Muse:   I will let you.  Keep trusting in the Lord, my brother!

Now that is a breath of fresh air.  So the transformations sometimes reuse older ones?  Hopefully, tomorrow’s will be good too.

Today’s high is going to be 54 degrees and the silver lining is having this Saturday off.
