And that’s just two of the things that I did before noon.  With today being one of my days off, I want it to be productive.

 

Dark Muse:  Tee hee!  I feel great!

Dark Muse?  You’re enormous, and I don’t see the Shy Muse anymore…

Dark Muse:  What are you talking about?  Tee hee!  I’m right here!

Oh.  The void surrounding the Dark Muse sucked up the Shy Muse and the Dark Muse.  That would explain the dark aura surrounding you…

Dark Muse:   Void?   Stop being silly!  Tee hee!  I’m hungry! That neighborhood of yummy people wasn’t enough…

Yeah.  Not enough confidence for you, right?  You’ll just keep draining confidence until there’s nothing left…

Dark Muse:  Tee hee!  You are a funny head!  Now I’m…oh!  So hungry!  Tee hee!  Where can I get some more yummy food?  Wait!  You have some!  I can tell.  Tee hee!

I don’t think you should.  No!

*the now 350 tall Dark Muse scoops me up, in front of her face and begins to flash brightly*

Dark Muse:  Mmm!  Yum!  Yummy!  Yum yum yummy!  Tee hee!

*Dark Muse flashes, growing 150 more feet*

Dark Muse:  Wow!  For someone so little, you have a lot of food in you!  Tee hee!  I want it all!!!

*Dark Muse flashes and grows even faster, doubling in size*

Wha…What happened?  G-go away!  Whoever you are, let me go!

Dark Muse:  Is that it?  They all say that when they’re empty.  But I’m still hungry!  Tee hee!  Thanks for the food, even though you didn’t give me a lot.  I’m gonna find some more yummy food!  Tee hee!

*Dark Muse lowers her hand and lightly tosses me to the ground*

That Dark Muse was scary.  I don’t ever want to see her again…

Remedy:  Here.

It’s Remedy!  Go away!  You’re giving me a panic attack!

Remedy:  Relax.  I’m restoring all the confidence that she took from you.  At least she didn’t take your executive privileges.  I’m going to borrow them.  Restore Kyle’s confidence, immediately!

Whoa.  Thanks Remedy.  Now…

Remedy:  Here’s your executive privileges back.

Thank you.  Now you told me that the formula will produce unlimited confidence.  What was that?

Remedy:  She drained your confidence faster than what it could produce.  Despite the increased production, she was draining it faster, due to her size.  I am working on something stronger.  Don’t you worry.

Don’t worry?  The Dark Muse absorbed the Shy Muse, and is now on a feeding frenzy, draining the world’s inhabitants of their confidence.  How can I not worry about that?

Remedy:  We will put an end to her rampage before it happens.  Remember.  The void is controlling the Dark Muse’s body.  The real Muses are deep inside her…

And it won’t be easy getting her out.

Remedy:  But I have a plan.  I’ll tell you what it is when I have all the details worked out.  For now, have a nice day.

With that Dark Muse running around, I will have to be on my toes.  Getting back to reality, I need to keep the ball rolling.  Mowing the lawn and cleaning a bathroom is a good start, but I need to keep going.

Today’s high is going to be 72 degrees and the silver lining is having this day off.
