Wow!  The sun is out and I feel great today.

And like always, the search continues.  The search for a job that matches my job.  With a degree in Journalism, you would think that it would be easy, right?  To be totally honest, it has not been easy, and I’m glad it hasn’t.

Why?  Because I would probably be miserable, working at some job I don’t like.  In being patient, I am able to find just the right job for me.  Yes, there are a lot of fish in the water, but don’t catch the first one!

As I said already, I am right where God wants me to be.  He knows what job is best for me, and he is prepared to give it to me.  But I still need to seek it out myself.  They say that things happen for a reason.  I believe that the reason is all the more closer than it was before. The job will appear when the day is ripe for it.  And when that day happens, I will be ready to graciously receive it.

Today, I have a phone call at 1:00 p.m.  I will be speaking with the Vice President of an organization that works with continuing education and lifelong learning.  After today’s conversation, I am hoping that there will be some kind of opportunity that will appear.  It might not be the ideal job, but will serve as a road to it.

Well, I finally made it.  I reached the castle and I just got inside.  The Dark Muse should be in one of these chambers…

*searches every chamber until I reach the large upper chamber*

Ah!  There she is.  I’m guessing the castle is mostly empty because the crowds of Muses must’ve warned the others…

Dark Muse:  Or maybe it’s because I want to be alone.  Tee hee!

Quick!  We must escape!  We don’t have much time…

Dark Muse:  I…can’t escape.  I’m too afraid!  Tee hee…

Then you can escape with me.  Here.  Let me pick you up…

Dark Muse:  No!  Get away from me!  Tee hee…

*Dark Muse becomes invisible*

Please.  Don’t do this!  I need you to get out of here.  It’s not safe!

Dark Muse: I’m staying.  I can’t leave this place.  You can’t make me!  Tee hee…

You want to leave, but you don’t have any confidence left.  If you don’t hurry, I will lose all of my confidence.  This barrier doesn’t have much time left…

Dark Muse:  Just go away!  I’m afraid!  Tee hee…

Here.  Have some unshakable confidence.  I have enough of it to give to another person, and still have enough for myself.

Dark Muse:  Ah!  What is this?  Oh…I need to get out of here fast!  Tee hee!

Oh no!  The barrier is breaking…Losing…confidence…

*Dark Muse glances at me*

Dark Muse:  No!  You came all the way in here to rescue me.  I will not let you stay in this horrible place!  Here.  Grab on to my hand.  Tee hee…

*barely reaches for Dark Muse’s hand teleports out of Muse*

Dark Muse:  Here.  We need to get away from her.  Hang on tight.  Tee hee…

*blacks out and awakens*

Dark Muse:  Wake up.  Please wake up!  Tee hee…

Where am I? I failed, didn’t I?

Dark Muse:  You saved my life.  Tee hee!

*Dark Muse hugs me*

Why are you hugging me?  Get away!

Dark Muse:  He needs more confidence!  Tee hee!

Remedy:  Hold on.  I have just the thing.  Kyle.  Drink this.  It will restore all of your confidence.

No.  That drink looks repulsive.  And it won’t work either!  It’s useless to try!

Dark Muse:  Here comes the plane!  Down the hatches! Tee hee!

*Dark Muse shoves the vial down my throat*

Hey!  What did you…*cough* *cough* *hack*  Whoa.  My confidence…I feel confident again!

Dark Muse:  Thanks for saving me.  Tee hee!  It was horrible inside that Muse!  I couldn’t escape!  I was too afraid.  Tee hee…

Ghost Muse:  I’m glad that Kyle was able to help you.  Although I have despised you in the past, I’m really glad that you’re out.

Dark Muse:  And I saved Kyle too!  See?  I’m not so bad!  Tee hee…

Remedy:  That was a close call.  Kyle gave you that unbreakable confidence just in time…

Dark Muse:  Well, I’m gonna stay away from that Muse.  At least until she becomes something different.  See you in a couple months!  Tee hee!

*Dark Muse disappears in a cloud of smoke*

Remedy:  You’re welcome.  I was afraid that I didn’t make it last long enough.  But it was just right.

Now that should make the Muse less of a threat, right?

Remedy: It should.  I’ll let you get ready for that phone call.

Ghost Muse: I’m leaving, too.  Good luck, Kyle!

 

There.  The Dark Muse is finally free.  Now I just have a regular shy Muse to deal with…

Today’s high is going to be 74 degrees and the silver lining is having the phone call.

Muse:  I lost my new friend! *sob* Why?  I know why!  She doesn’t like me!  She’s afraid of me because I’m too shy!  Everyone is!  Nobody likes me!  NOBODY!
