Yup. The lawn is overdue for its weekly haircut. Only this time, it should be a little easier. Since some ant killer has been put on the grass, it doesn’t need to be bagged. In hearing that, it’s music to my ears. I will be taking the bagging attachment off and putting the mulching block in. This should make the lawn take a little shorter.
As for yesterday’s phone call, there might be a writing opportunity that I will be able to be a part of. For the brochure critique, however, this won’t happen until July since that organization that I talked to is in the process of updating their outdated template. Once they have this updated, I can begin the training process, which will likely be in July. In the meantime, I will keep looking. I also applied for another job through Kelly Services.
In the writing realm, The Tale of Zachary Willowbrook: The School Years is coming along nice. I am at the part of the story where it finally gets exciting. Zachary actually goes to school. So while school is out for the summer, classes are in session for Zachary. I will make another website update in the future, so look for that.
I have also read some more of Mitch Albom’s “The First Phone Call From Heaven”. It’s a great story so far, and I look forward to reading more.
Ghost Muse: Another green haircut entry?
Yes. It seems to be a reoccurring thing in the Spring/Summer/Early Fall season.
Ghost Muse: Enjoy that. I’m going to get some cleaning done.
Wait. Where are you living?
Ghost Muse: I have another place. Architecturally, it’s pretty much the same house that the shy Muse is living in, minus the stuffed animals and vibrant colors.
Okay. I need to get mowing the lawn.
Ghost Muse: I need to get cleaning. See you later.
That’s pretty much today in a nutshell. Mow the lawn, look for work, continue on story, and work my shift. It’s a good thing that today is Friday…
Today’s high is going to be 81 degrees and the silver lining is getting the lawn cut.
To those of you who love mowing the lawn on Fridays, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I would love to see Kyle again…forget it…I’m too shy. I can’t talk to him! I guess I’ll talk to my stuffed bunny, since he’s my only friend…
