That’s pretty much today for me in a nutshell.
For today, I will be working a fairly long shift at Little Caesars. A noon to 6. Now I know what you’re thinking. Six hours? A normal workday is eight or longer! By restaurant standards, that’s pretty long. That’s six hours of making dough and preparing pizzas later in the day. While six hours is not a full workday, I can hopefully have a full one at a better job in the future.
After that, I have a Toastmasters Meeting. With me as Toastmaster of tonight’s meeting, it’s very important that I get there early. And with the club exec meeting prior to the meeting, being there early is important.
Muse: Club exec meeting?
That is correct. I am Vice President Education, the second highest ranking officer in the club.
Muse: Sounds like your day is pretty full. Will you be getting any reading or writing done?
Will you please drop that? I’m not going to have time to do that today.
Muse: Then make the time! 10 minutes of each. You can do it.
We’ll see….
Muse: If not, you’ll have 4 days of no reading and 2 days of no writing. And no. This entry does not count.
Yes it does. At the very least it does!
Muse: Well, I hear that my coffee’s done. Enjoy your long day and meeting.
Thanks.
Well, the high today is going to be 51 degrees. That high is right now, since the temperature is supposed to drop throughout the day. The silver lining will be tonight’s Toasmasters meeting, which will be quite interesting.
To those of you who stick to the daily routine, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: He knows that he can get some reading and writing done if he really wants to…. *sigh* Oh well. Time to start on my next romance! This one’s supposed to be very good….
