Having had the chance to rest a couple days, I have taken the liberty to think and reflect on my memorable vacation. Twins Day Festival 2025 was an unforgettable experience for me. But don’t just take my word for it. Instead, gaze upon the 12,013 word account and all the words and pictures that really made this convention a memorable one. I will do more than just describe everything to you. Instead, I am taking you back to the event, and you are going to relive all of my memorable moments with me again. Sound good? Then follow me, as I take you through the epic recap of Twins Days Festival 2025 (The 50th Anniversary!).
6:00 a.m. Thursday morning. I get out of bed and turn on the coffee.
I then proceed to record my dream and entire journal entry and go through my daily posting on a video game message board site.
After that, I had my breakfast. My probiotic with 20 raw almonds, a Strawberry Shortcake Danon Light and Fit Greek Yogurt, and a S’more Quest Bar. I washed that down with the Starbucks Mocha coffee in a Super Mario Bros. Mario Mug with a Truvia packet and a splash of MCT Oil. I drank it black. Although I’m not on Keto anymore, I do this out of habit.
I packed up everything for Twins Days 2025. Toiletries? Check. Matching clothes for the weekend? Check. I packed everything up and put it in the car.
I then did a fluid check on my car. Oil? Check. There’s plenty of oil, since it’s past the full mark. The windshield wiper fluid was also good since I filled it up more recently.
It was now time to get going, since my brother has everything packed already from last night. We then had to capture the perfect Kodak moment. Me and my brother stood there in matching shirts from last year’s Twins Days Theme, shorts, socks, and red shoes, and I took a selfie before driving down to Twinsburg, Ohio for the Twins Days Festival.
After the pictures were taken, we were off at around 8:16 in the morning. I got onto US-10 and we were Twinsburg bound, jamming to BZRK by Family Force 5.
After Auburn, I merged onto I-75 South, towards Flint. After that, I took the right fork onto US-23 South, towards Ann Arbor. After Ann Arbor, we passed Dundee, and then Temperance.
Finally, we crossed the Ohio border.
Ohio’s new slogan for 2024 was “The Heart of It All”. What I found was being at the heart of Ohio’s speed limit, which was 65 miles per hour. After I-75, we went down I-280. We then went on the I-80/I-90 Ohio Turnpike.
The Turnpike was an enjoyable ride. With the speed limit at 70 miles per hour, I felt right at home. I cruised down it, listening to John Reuben.
And then at 11:04, we stopped at a Service Plaza. Time for the first rest stop. After some Instagramming, it was time to resume the trip.
After exiting the Turnpike, I paid $9.00 for it. Finally, we were on I-480 East. We got off on the Great Northern Boulevard exit, because it was time for some dinner.
We entered North Olmstead and stopped at a Chick-Fil-A. I was so happy there that I took a selfie.
Don’t like the cloudy backdrop? Well, let’s try that again, with a sunnier background!
Chick-Fil-A in 2023!
And the sunglasses version! (2023)
After that, it was time to order my food! The food you ask? It was a mouthwatering spicy crispy chicken deluxe, three chick-n strips, and a medium order of waffle fries. And why don’t we include every single kind of dipping sauce that they have? There we go!
Now Midland has committed a terrible sin in not including one of these wonderful restaurants there. I mean, we have plenty of burger places, but how many chicken places do we have? Instead of getting this place, Midland gets a Popeye’s, and Flint gets a Chick-fil-A? I hear that the mall is trying to get a Chick Fil A there so we’ll see if that transpires. But with Midland still not having one, that makes no sense. It’s true that just about every fast food place serves chicken, but not like this. I would consider this place Colonel Sanders’ cousin. But no buckets. No biscuits. No wedges. No mashed potatoes. Just the waffle fries will do. Plus we need to get back to Twinsburg for the festival opening later on at the high school. We don’t have time to sit down for a home-cooked meal.
And what do we do with the trash? Let’s not forget to throw it away. In a regular dispenser this year (and last year), since those fancy automatic disposals were too expensive. I’m going to miss those ones a lot.
The Automatic Dispenser from 2022 and earlier. You will be missed!
The ordinary dispenser today
After we got our fill of Chick-Fil-A, we left North Olmstead, Ohio and got back on I-480 East.
Before long, we arrived at Twinsburg and got off on Aurora Road. Since this was Thursday afternoon, we went right to the hotel. We got off on Aurora Road, and turned right onto Wilcox Drive.
Upon entering the Hilton Garden Inn, this is what i saw.
A special gold TWINS sign to celebrate the 50th!
And special “50” balloons with a mirror to boot!
After checking in, we took the elevators to Room 425. Inside was a very nice room, as you can see here.
I loved this room. There was two queen beds, a sitting chair and a desk for the computer. There was even a Keurig coffee machine. I unpacked everything and decided to take a breather.
After that, my brother and I drove to GetGo to get some provisions for the weekend. I got 3 liters of Aquafina and two King-Size Twix Bars: Cookies and Cream and Snickerdoodle!
After that, we drove back to the Hilton Garden Inn and chilled for a bit at our room. I then decided to kill some time by going for a swim. My brother and I went down to the pool for a short dip. We then went back to our room where my brother had the idea to make a “hot tub” in the bathtub, since the hotel doesn’t have one. After my brother enjoyed his dip in the make-shift hot tub, I soaked in the hot tub for a while, and drained the tub when I was done.
With our swim and hot tub fix done, it was now time for dinner.
So we went over to Sheetz with it being sunny. Once inside, we made our orders. Now remember. Whatever you get at Sheetz, you have to say it in autotune. Well, not really. But it’s just for fun, okay?
For my dinner, I order the stuffed nachossssss… I made it grande style with taco sauce, buffalo garlic blitzzzzzzz, jalapeno ranchhhhhhhh, shredded cheddarrrrrrr, guacamoleeeeee, chiliiiiiii, jalapenosssssss, picoooooo, salsaaaaaa, nacho cheeseeeeee, and baconnnnnn. Along with that we ordered a bag of fryyyyyzzzzz…., And not just any fryz. I ordered them with a cajun kick. And the drink? A frozen hot chocolateeeeeee…, of course! I got it with 2% milk, brownie bites, cookies and cream, and whipped cream. Now you probably don’t believe me, so I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves, in autotune of course!
With that delicious dinner gone, my brother and I went back to the Hilton Garden Inn to kill an hour. What were killing an hour for? Since my parents are staying at the Hampton Inn this year and not at the Hilton Garden Inn, I have to drop off my mom’s charge bank where they’re staying.
While I was killing that time, I managed to meet my first sets of twins. I met the following:
- Reed & Joshua, fraternall twins from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Melody & Rachel, identical twins from Jacksonville, Florida
- Melissa & Allison, fraternal twins from Queens, New York
At 8:17, my mom calls me and that was my signal to leave with my brother to go to the Hampton Inn in Oakwood to drop off the charge bank. Once there, my brother and I drop off the charge bank and visit for a while. When I was tired, my brother and I left to call it a night.
Once back at the hotel, I decided to meet a few more twins. I met two more sets at the front desk:
- Daniel & Elias, identical twins from Seattle, Washington
- Gabriel & Gregory, identical twins from Seattle, Washington
While I waited for my brother to finish up in the bathroom, I met two more twins that were about to enter the elevator. Mackenzee & Sydney, identical twins from Honolulu, Hawaii.
Now tired, I put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. This was a good first night to unwind. But Twins Days hasn’t even begun yet. Can’t wait for the festivities to begin tomorrow…
4:55 a.m. Friday morning. I spring out of bed and cancel my 5:00 alarm. With Fresh Start Diner opening at 7 a.m., it was high time that I got ready.
It didn’t take too long. I got dressed, did my posting done, and it was then time for some breakfast. I got all my devotionals done and we went in my car to the Fresh Start Diner.
Before we get to the Fresh Start Diner, let me provide you with my history with this place. For two different Twins Days Festivals, I have been trying to eat at this place, but was unsuccessful. At my first Twins Days Festival in 2019, I couldn’t go since I was supposed to meet my aunt, uncle, and cousins at the Cheesecake Factory. Three years ago, I couldn’t go since the Fresh Start Diner was CLOSED on Monday. That brings us to two years ago. I finally went to the Fresh Start Diner but ended up with a flat tire. Will I get a flat tire this time?
Surprisingly, I didn’t get a flat tire for the second time in a row. Being 5 minutes early, my brother and I waited until the restaurant opened.
To kill some time I managed to take a quick picture of the place before entering with my brother.
Upon entering, it was like last year. It seemed like a pretty simple diner. Old style style seats with a long counter. Or your standard booths if you prefer. Feeling more happy this year, I order my food. A coffee for the drink. The meal? A breakfast burrito with home fries.
The food was all pretty good, and with no flat tires once again, it was much more enjoyable than my first time. And with my brother and I arriving at 7:00 AM, we were one of the first to be seated and received the first order. We ate our food and before I left, I saw a familiar set of twins that I have been seeing about every year! It was none other than Esperanza and Susana (Met in 2022), identical twins from Mesa, Arizona. My brother and I talked to them for a while. And after that, we were out of there.
Once back at the hotel, my brother and I decided to chill for a little while. My parents arrived at the hotel a little after 11 and I met some more twins. I met the following twins:
- Natalie & Nicole (Met in 2022), identical twins from Wenatchee, Washington
- Dina & Rina (Met in 2024), identical twins from San Francisco, California
- Lorraine & Lorretta, identical twins from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Allen & Arthur, fraternal twins Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Nora & Mariam, identical twins from Boca Raton, Florida
After that, I took a picture in the lobby of the following twins:
- Wayne & Anthony, Identical Twins from Mattoon, Illinois
- Sophia & Alexia (Met in 2023), Identical Twins from Hocking Hills, Ohio
- Cole & Dawson, Fraternal Twins from Mattoon, Illinois
This is the result.
After that, I met three more sets of twins. The first one was Harmony and Hudson, fraternal twins from Las Vegas, Nevada. After meeting them, a mother was checking the hotel with another set of twins. Olivia and Ella, identical twins from Scottsdale, Arizona. I then met Francine and Frederika, identical twins from Youngstown, Ohio.
I then took more pictures of the following twins:
Roz & Robin, identical twins from Annapolis, Maryland
Ketha & Carolyn, identical twins from Springfield, Missouri
After my brother and I got ready in our room, it was time to leave for the high school. But before we left, I saw another familiar set of twins. It was Kaisha & Erika (Met in 2022), identical twins from Providence, Rhode Island. We told them that we would see them at the high school and took off. After getting my water bottle and everything that I needed, my brother and I go to the high school. We cruise down Aurora road and approach the turn.
That took us to Ravenna Road. We turned left on Ravenna Road and then left on the Joshua T. Miktarian Memorial Parkway. We arrived at Twinsburg High School, only there was one problem. Like last year, we were super early. It was 12:55. Registration didn’t begin until 2:00! To kill time, me and my brother took another awesome selfie.
After that, I went with my twin and met a few twins while I was waiting. I met the following twins:
- Dave & Dan (Met in 2024), identical twins from Phoenix, Arizona
- Elizabeth & Allison, identical twins from Three Springs, Pennsylvania
- Elizabeth (passed away) & Judy, identical twins from Chesterville, Ohio and Jefferson, South Carolina
- Louisa & Margaret, identical twins from Toledo, Ohio
- Barry & Larry, identical twins from Greenville, Tennessee and Summerville, South Carolina
- Hrefna & Hrönn (Met in 2022), identical twins from Hveragerði, Iceand
- Hafsteinn & Kristjen (Met in 2023), identical twins from Hveragerði, Iceland
After that, there was just four minutes left before the high school. At this time, I met Ayla & Ailee, identical twins from Toledo, Ohio. Here’s a picture of them below!
I also met Eric & Steve, identical twins from Cleveland, Ohio before the high school opened.
Four minutes later, it was time to enter the high school to register, my brother and I got our registration. I waited until registration before I met any more twins. We followed a the twins into the auditorium and I got my registration packet and lanyard. My brother and I were the 25th set of twins to register.
My brother and I then decided to buy the souvenir shirts at the high school instead of the festival to save space in my backpack for tomorrow. We bought the shirts and were good to go. After buying the T-shirt, we found Hrefna & Hrönn sporting a red “5 YEARS REGISTERED” sticker. Like them, it was also me and my brother’s fifth Twins Days Festival. However, there was only one problem: WE DIDN’T HAVE THE STICKER!
With that, my brother went through the registration line for the SECOND time, and spent the next 35-40 minutes just to get the 5-year sticker. It was well worth the wait.
After finally getting the sticker, we find Kaisha & Erika in the cafeteria and were able to get a nice picture with them. This is the result:
After the picture, it was time to meet some more twins. I met the following twins:
Olivia & Sophia, identical twins from Derry, New Hampshire
After that, I met not one, but TWO Lisa & Loris! Both were identical and the first set was from Charlotte, North Carolina. The other set was from Greensboro, North Carolina.
Following that, I met the mother of another familiar set of twins! Ben & Marie (Met in 2024), fraternal twins from Dayton, Ohio. It was fun to met them and the mother again, so we get another picture with the twins. This is the result:
We then met Christine & Caroline, identical twins from San Francisco, California.
A few minutes later, I met Everett & Ellie, identical twins from Wells, Vermont. My brother and I got a picture with the girls. This is the result:
After that, I met a whole LOT of twins, and added two more spots for the Blue Canyon reservation for 7:00 at 4:30. Here is the long list of twins that I met:
- Garrett & Stefan, fraternal twins from Howell, Michigan
- Susan & Sarah, identical twins from Rockford, Illinois

- Carson & Josie, fraternal twins from Ravenna, Ohio
After that, I met a set of twins that made me star struck. This was Skylar & Spencer (Met in 2019), identical twins from Chicago, Illinois. When it comes to Twins Days Festivals, Skylar and Spencer don’t miss a single one. For this year alone, it will be their 31st consecutive convention! Even during COVID when Twins Days wasn’t held in person, this dedicated duo made their pilgrimage to Twinsburg to keep their streak of attendance unbroken. They are well known among the regulars that attend and they consider the annual congregation of twins meeting at the beginning of every August to be their family. This time, Skylar and Spencer were the SECOND set of twins to register! With them helping to run registration this year, it was finally a good time to get a picture with them. My brother and I got a picture with the famous Nick Twins (2010 Kings of the Royal Court!):
Number 25 with Number 2!
Outside the high school, I was able to get a shot with Gabriel & Gregory, the 6’9″ tall twins from Seattle, Washington that I saw earlier at the hotel. Here is a shot of me and my twin next to them. My, are they tall!
After that, I got my first group shot (I LOVE these so much!). The twins that I got the group shot with were Meagan & Paige (Met in 2019), identical twins from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Darrell (Met in 2024) (his twin Terrell absent), fraternal twins from Las Vegas, Nevada, and Hailey & Tiffany (Met in 2023), fraternal twins from Toledo, Ohio. This is the result of the group photo with my twin:
My twin meeting continued. Following that picture, my brother and I continued to meet more twins. We met the following:
- John & Ian, identical twins from Orlando, Florida
- Alysha & Anissa, identical twins from San Francisco, California
- Madi & Devynne, identical twins from St. Louis, Missouri

- Diane & Donna, identical twins from Asheville, North Carolina and Valparaiso, Indiana
- Donald & Ronald (Met in 2022), identical twins from Baltimore, Maryland
- Sydney & Megan, identical twins from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
- Margaret & Mary, fraternal twins from Detroit, Michigan
- Kim & Cassie (Met in 2022), fraternal twins from Westchester, New York
- Alyssa & Kylie, identical twins from Las Vegas, Nevada
- Melissa & Rachel, identical twins from Baltimore, Maryland
- Deborah & Denise, identical twins from Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Speedwell, Virginia
- Lucy & Ariella, identical twins from Indianapolis, Indiana
- Shams & Qamar, identical twins from Dallas, Texas
Following that, I decided to get to 100 twins in the gymnasium. Esperanza & Susana, who I saw earlier that day, were now in the bleachers and were optimistic about my push to 100.
Encouraged by that, I decided to meet some more twins. I met the following twins with my twin:
- Steve & Jerry, identical twins from La Porte, Indiana
- Barbie & Karen, fraternal twins from Corwin, Ohio
- Pat & Mike, identical twins from Columbus, Ohio
- Peggy & Patty (Met in 2024), identical twins from Kansas City, Missouri
- Kyle & Keenan, identical twins from Las Vegas, Nevada
- Danika & Dani, fraternal twins from Lawrence, Mississippi
- Annabel & Adalynn, identical twins from Ionia, Michigan
- Margaret & Laura (Met in 2022), identical twins from Sterling Heights, Michigan

- Maureen & Colleen, fraternal twins from Twinsburg, Ohio
With that, I finally met the 100th set of twins: Dylan & Eli (Met in 2022), identical twins from Twinsburg, Ohio.
From here, the rest was gravy. I continued to meet a few more sets of twins with my twin:
- Max & Rose (Met in 2023), fraternal twins from Cleveland, Ohio
- Helena & Hunter, fraternal twins from Hudson, Ohio
- Amelia & Madison (Met in 2023), fraternal twins from Fort Wayne, Indiana

Finally, I met a set of Asian twins. This is Willow & Midori, identical twins from Rockwille, Maryland. I got a picture of them with my twin and this is the result:
My brother and I left Twinsburg High School around 6:15. With my brother and I being at the high school for more than five hours, we decided that we had spent enough time there.
My brother and I return to our room at the Hilton Garden Inn to get ready for dinner. Afterall, we were not about to eat a fancy dinner in our tanktops! So, we changed into our 2024 Twins Days shirt from yesterday and we were good to go.
From there, we walk to our reservation. We made it there with plenty of time before the 7:15 deadline.
Here about 15 minutes early!
My brother and I were actually 15 minutes early for the reservation, so they seated us early. Since our parents were running late, we waited for them before we got started with the menu.
Now, if you have read any of these entries in the past, let me review. The Blue Canyon is an upscale restaurant that I had reservations for. The restaurant was situated on a bluff, which overlooked the hotel.
We had a wonderful waitress that assisted us that night. I wanted to order something similar to the Lobster Linguine from 2019, or the Lobster Cannelloni from two years ago but they had none of the above. Just a selection of a chicken dish to pair with another dish for a special instead. With that, I ordered their signature dish: The Pretzel Crusted Trout. I ordered that with a bowl of Lobster Bisque and some strawberry lemonade. My dad ordered the Big Bang Calamari and shared it.
The soup came first, of course.
The Big Bang Calamari came next. The four on the plate is my share.
I also had some bread while I was waiting. Here is what I had.
After that was the delicious dish I was waiting for. The Pretzel Crusted Trout.
The trout was pretty good. When it was gone, I shared dessert with my brother. A Chocolate Bomb. A layered chocolate dessert with filling, cake and covered in chocolate. A round, delicious chocolatey ball of goodness.
After the food was done, and 20 minutes of waiting, the scary part came. The bill. But since my brother was gracious enough to pay the whole bill for me and him, I didn’t have to worry about the scary part. But he did. My parents paid for themselves separately.
When the bill was paid, I said goodbye to the restaurant with my brother. Blue Canyon Kitchen & Tavern, you fed us well tonight. You will be missed.
After getting back to the Hilton Garden Inn, I went with my twin to Room 425. We brushed our teeth and got ready for bed. It was going to be a long and fun day for both of us tomorrow.
4:55 a.m. Saturday morning. I spring out of bed and disable my 5:00 alarm. Having done most of my routine last night, all that remained was my devotionals. I put on my costume, quickly grabbed my almonds and white chocolate raspberry quest bar, and went downstairs for a delicious breakfast buffet. Time for the buffet!
At the buffet, I grabbed four strips of bacon, one sausage link, a little bit of eggs, and a small bit of potatoes. There was no room for fruit, and I didn’t get any on the second round. While I was eating breakfast, I saw Hrefna & Hrönn, who were dressed up as Anna and Elsa from Frozen.
After that, I met the following twins during breakfast:
- Marlene & Monica (Met in 2022), identical twins from Sebring and Canton, Ohio
- Tyson & Carson, identical twins from Dayton, Ohio
- Tamera & Marietta, identical twins from Chicago, Illinois
After the breakfast, it was time to board a bus for the Twins Days Double Take Parade. And not a moment too soon! It was already after 8:00 so we needed to get down there, and fast! My brother and I boarded the bus and there were a few others that rode with us.
Minutes later, the shuttle dropped us near the town square on Church street for the parade lineup. Since the town square was under construction, we all had to stand on the adjacent street for the lineup instead. I was now ready to cruise and meet as many sets of twins as possible.
My brother and I walked around and we got a picture with the following twins:
Josiah & Oliver, identical twins from Waynesville, Ohio
Jaycie & Naomie, fraternal twins from Helena, Montana (Daisy and Peach! 🙂 )
After that, I met another two sets of twins. I met Kelly & Robin (Met in 2024), identical twins from Ocala, Florida and Pat & David, identical twins from Allen Park, Michigan.
I then met a set of twins that looked like Nintendo Switch Joy Cons combined with Transformers. This was Teagan & Cadan (Met in 2024), identical twins from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I got a picture with them and my twin and this is the result:
From there, I met Gianna & Samantha, fraternal twins from Linderhurst, New York. Both me and my twin also got a picture with Kayden & Cameron, fraternal twins from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is the result:
And after I met Maya & Sara, identical twins from South Windsor, Connecticut, both me and my twin got a bunch of pictures with the following twins:
Faith & Charity, identical twins from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Melinda & Brenda (Met in 2024), identical twins from Hampton Roads, Virginia
Will & Tim, identical twins from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Also pictured: Dylan & Eli, identical twins from Twinsburg, Ohio)
Skylar & Scarlett, identical twins from Dayton, Ohio
Taylor & Cruz (Met in 2023), identical twins from Twinsburg, Ohio
After that, I met some more twins before the parade started. I met the following:
- Harper & Emerie, identical twins from Charlottesville, Virginia
- Alexis & Alania (Met in 2022), identical twins from Wellburg, Wyoming
- Peyton & Riley, identical twins from Madison, Wisconsin
- Molly & Betsy, identical twins from Canton, Texas and Cincinnati, Ohio
- Anna & Julia, identical twins from Atlanta, Georgia
- Monica & Gitta, identical twins from Santa Monica and Los Angeles, California
- Amy & Sarah (Met in 2024), identical twins from Woodsville New Hampshire and Colchester, Vermont
- Jennifer & Karrie, identical twins from Niagara Falls, New York
With that, the parade was now officially underway. It was time to celebrate the 50th Festival! This was our golden opportunity! We followed directions and began our march behind the marching band. I then got these shots as I walked down the parade route with my twin brother.
During the parade, I actually met three more sets of twins! I met Sage & Solomon, fraternal twins from Akron, Ohio, Marilyn & Carolyn, identical twins from Indianapolis, Indiana, and Caitlyn & Celsey, identical twins from Neosho, Wisconsin.
Overall, it was sunny during the parade route. I also got a shot of the pavilion!
The parade started at 9:00 and lasted about 63 minutes (longer for all the other bystanders watching the entire parade). It was fun watching all the people on the street smile as we walked on by. We waved at all the onlookers and smiled, enjoying the perfectly sunny weather.
When the parade was over, we marched into the Festival Grounds.
Since I had everything that I needed (except the charge bank which we’ll get to later on), no trip back to the car was necessary. My wristband wasn’t too tight, so no trip to the registration was necessary, either. I then entered the festival gates…
What was the first thing on the agenda? Before Twin Pops (which I later found out that they once again didn’t have), I wanted to take care of the things that I didn’t do two years ago until the end of the festival:
1. Play with the mirror with my twin.
2. Put a pin on the U.S. map where I’m from and the world map at “Put a Pin on It!”
3. Get a 2024 Twins Days Button.
4. Go to the Research Tent and complete research for a $50 Gift Card.
Number 1 was first. After waiting in line, my brother and I played did some different poses at the Twins Days mirror:
Number 2 was next: Put a Pin on It! I placed my pins and I was good to go!
Put a Pin on It! at a glance!
Next was number 3. Get a button. Since this process took more than TWO HOURS, I met a few more twins while I was in line to get a button:
Henry & Alia, fraternal twins from Charleston, West Virginia
While I was waiting, I also met a set of twins named Claire & Caroline, identical twins from Columbus, Ohio. Both of them were into Pokemon and were able to chat away to kill the time. Here is a picture of them with me and my twin:
After that, I met a couple more sets of twins while in line: Carmine & Cassian, fraternal twins from Medina, Ohio and Melissa & Teresa (Met in 2024), identical twins from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
My brother and I also took a picture in front of the Twins Days sign while we waited:
After a long wait of more than TWO HOURS, I got my button with my twin.
After that was Number 4. Get the research done for a $50 gift card. Unlike last year, it was sunny the whole time. These were the twins that I met during my wait:
- Sarah & Caitlyn, fraternal twins from Burlington, New Jersey
- Maddie, Allie, and Katie, fraternal triplets from Sagamore Hills, Ohio
- Raymond & Jackson, fraternal twins from Painesville, Ohio
After that, I did the research for the skin care products and the twin study for the $50 gift card. Unlike last year, the research was done outside since the 50th anniversary Twins Days exhibit was inside the community center building this year. I went to the four stations, got my stamps, and got my $50.
After that, my cell phone battery was low. I was debating whether to go back to the Hilton Garden Inn or not. Ultimately, I decided to meet mom and dad underneath one of the tents for the talent shows, since mom had her charge bank that both me and my brother could borrow. During this time, I couldn’t interview too many twins since my cell phone was recharging. After my phone recharged enough, I got a picture with Steve & Jerry, identical twins from La Porte, Indiana. Having met them at the high school a day before, they were now dressed up like babies for their 75th birthday. My brother and I got a picture with them and this is the result:
After that, I went and met some more twins. I spent a little bit of time meeting more twins.
Sometime before that, I saw Esperanza & Susana again. Here is a picture of them enjoying the festival:
After that, I continued to meet more twins. I met these twins before the big picture at 3:30:
- Brett & Tim, identical twins from Unknown
- Dora & Joanna, fraternal twins from Chicago, Illinois
- Bryan & Kevin, identical twins from Syracuse, New York
- Luz & Xavier, fraternal twins from Sugarland, Texas
- Mae & Mercy, identical twins from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Laurel & Cherie (Met in 2022), identical twins from Saint Marys, Pennsylvania
- Leyna & Klaira (Met in 2023), identical twins from Lansing, Michigan
- Amy & Kristi, identical twins from Huntington, Indiana
- Abby & Molly (Met in 2022), fraternal twins from Cleveland, Ohio
- Amber & Jasmine, identical twins from Pittsgrove, New Jersey
- Ann & Amy (Met in 2024), identical twins from Ava Maria, Florida and Marshalltown, Iowa
I was now at the football field, and the picture was about to be taken. Is everyone ready? You better be! They’re about to take it!
Everybody say cheese!
After that, me and my twin got a picture with with the following twins:
Rose & Ella, fraternal twins from Akron, Ohio.
Reese & Keira, identical twins from Chicago, IL
Keiden & Kenai (Met in 2022), identical twins from Vernon, New Jersey (also pictured: Reese & Keira, identical twins from Chicago, IL)
Meredith & Olivia (Met in 2019), fraternal twins from Columbus, Ohio, Karassorini(?) & Harini(?), identical twins from Columbus, Ohio, Ace & Leah, identical twins from Boston, MA, and Glen & Lynn (Met in 2023), identical twins from Oakley, Illinois
Michelle & Mindy, identical twins from Akron, Ohio (also pictured: Reese & Keira, identical twins from Chicago, IL)
Michael & Lucas, fraternal twins from Johnson Creek, Wisconsin
Matt & Mark (Met in 2022), identical twins from Cleveland, Ohio
After meeting all those twins, I was hungry, so my brother and I found a food vendor. But before this happened, we came across some locals who were actually NOT twins! They just wanted the experience of attending a Twins Days festival. And for this weekend, they hit the jackpot for meeting twins! Here is a picture of me and my twin with this excited couple:
After taking a picture with the twin fans, my brother and I looked for a vendor. What was I hungry for? Stromboli? Why not?
While I was eating the stromboli, I met another set of twins. Lexi & Laci from Bullhead City, Arizona. My brother and I had a nice conversation with them and they talked about staying in touch with their twin friends. My fellow twins, this is a good idea for future twins days!
After the stromboli, my brother and I got some Dippin’ Dots. I got a mega brownie batter Dippin’ Dots. Check out the epic pic here!
Brownie Batter goodness!
After that, I met a few more twins. I met the following twins:
- Jascelyn & Emma (Met in 2024), fraternal twins from Massillon, Ohio
- Lainey & Everett, fraternal twins from
- Matthew & Caleb, identical twins from Van Buren, Ohio
I then got a picture with Carlos & Charlie, identical twins from Chicago, Illinois. Here is the result:
After the picture, it was almost time for dinner. But before my brother and I left, we got a picture in front of the Twins Days sign with mom and dad. We then got another one with just me and my brother. Here is that one:
After the picture, I had to check the “Put a Pin on It!” before leaving. With it being almost 5:30 in the afternoon, how many pins do we have now?
With my last moments in my full Mario costume at the festival, I had to take a few more pictures with my twin. We took another one in front of the Twins Days sign. How many have registered so far?
2459?! Not bad for 5:30!
My brother and I left the festival grounds with mom and dad and they dropped us off at the Hilton Garden Inn. My brother and I stripped off the overalls and kept our shirts. We put on our jean shorts and were both ready to go to Sushi En.
When we got there, mom and dad already got a table for us. We then sat down and ate. My dad shared his calamari appetizer. For the main course, my brother and I both enjoyed a Twins Roll and a Surf & Turf Roll. The food was amazing!
Surf & Turf (back) and Twins Roll (front)
And let’s not forget dessert! We settled for the tempora mochi ice cream. That too was yummy.
And believe it or not, I met one more set of twins at the restaurant. Bridget & Brooke (Met in 2023), identical twins from Seattle, Washington. Considering that they both ate at Blue Canyon last night, the mother jokingly said that we were following them. What a coincidence! Here is a picture of them with my twin:
After that, I took us all back to the Hilton Garden Inn. My brother and I decided to get ready to go to the fireworks that would be at the festival grounds.
After that, it was time to go to the fireworks. We got to the high school around 8:10. We went to the festival grounds on a shuttle.
Once at the festival grounds, I decided to meet a few more twins. I met Balbev & Bal, fraternal twins from Punjab, India. And when I went to the flea market, I met Vada & Aria, fraternal twins from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Here is a picture of them with my twin:
All comfy and ready for bed!
After that, I met a couple more sets of twins: Sienna & Caroline, identical twins from Sloan, Indiana and Matthew & Matthias, fraternal twins from Youngstown, Ohio.
I then met Allison & Ashley, identical twins from Tiffin, Ohio. My brother and I got a picture with them and this is the result:
Cool diagonal effect!
I then found Peyton & Riley again. These were the twins that I met earlier that day in the parade lineup. Both were still dressed up in their Link/Princess Zelda champion tunics from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. My brother and I got a picture with them and this was the result:
Next, we met Jamie & Heather, fraternal twins from Toledo, Ohio. Upon talking to them, I found out that they were born the same year as me and my brother. Not only that, their birthday was two days after me and my brother! We talked to them and got a nice picture. This is the result:
I then met my last set of twins for the day. Zola & Kendrick, fraternal twins from Allen, Ohio. My brother and I got a picture with the twins. This was how it turned out:
We went to the Twinless Twins lantern lighting ceremony. 18 lanterns were lit, each representing a twin that is no longer with us (but will always be with their twin!) I teared up as I heard all the names read. The lanterns were all lit and would stay lit all night until they go out.
Right after that, the firework show started immediately. It was put on by Meijer and the show was spectacular.
After that, my brother and I had to return to our cars, FAST. The finale was about to happen and we didn’t want to be stuck in the parking lot of Twinsburg High school. So we hurried with Jamie & Heather back to the parking lot. Here is the finale:
The fireworks show ran from 9:30 to 9:45. When the show was over, my brother and I hurried into the car and left the high school. With the firework show over, it’s now time to live it up at the Bertram Inn right?
Wrong! With there being a 5K to run in the morning, there was no way that I was going to head to party central when I had a race that I wanted to be rested up for with my twin.
We drove right back to the hotel and I called it a night. It was after 10:00 when I got back. I then got ready for bed. The fourth day awaited us, starting with a 5K race tomorrow morning. Having that said, the recap is not done yet…
5:25 a.m. Sunday morning. I spring out of bed, waking up five minutes before my alarm. Fortunately, everything was done the night before. Except for my devotionals and the dream that I needed to record. I got ready for the race and ate my almonds, Fage Yogurt, and Quest Bar. I put on my running clothes and did my devotionals. I then went down to breakfast and prepared a small plate of fruit. My brother did the same. I then left with my brother to go to the race.
My brother and I went over to Dodge Intermediate School for the 5K race. With all the practices that I have been doing with my brother, I should be ready for this race. Since I was behind from last year, I wasted no time in meeting more twins even at the race. I met the following twins with my twin:
- Maika & Jamie, identical twins from Atlanta, Georgia
- Lauren & Lindsey, identical twins from New Orleans, Louisiana
- Sarah & Emily, identical twins from Canton, Michigan
- Miranda & Marissa, identical twins from Seattle, Washington
I then met another set of twins. This is Colby & Caleb, identical twins from Loveland, Ohio. I t got a picture of them with my twin and this is the result:
After that, my meeting spree with more twins continued. I met the following twins before the race started:
- Jenna & Jessi (Met in 2023), identical twins from Cleveland, Ohio
- Sharon & Karen (Met in 2019), identical twins from Cincinnati, Ohio
- Christina & Jennifer, identical twins from Sacramento, California and Seattle, Washington
- Alex & Jesse, identical twins from Bronx, New York
- Mia, Isa, & Max, fraternal triplets from Hudson, Ohio
- Ashley & Amber, identical twins from Howard Lake, Minnesota
I then met a set of twins that looked very ready to race. This was Lila & Ava, identical twins from Brunswick, Ohio. My brother and I got a picture with them and this was how it turned out:
We’re ready to run!
After that, it was time to meet a few more twins before the race. I met the following twins with my twin:
- Caleb & Noah, fraternal twins from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Leah & Kim, identical twins from Berea, Ohio
- Emily & Katelyn, fraternal twins from Cincinnati, Ohio
- Shay & Janessa, fraternal twins from Stratford, Ontario, Canada
It was now time to get ready for the race. My brother and I were the team the Walker Texas Rangers. For Hrefna & Hrönn, I didn’t get their team name this year.
Finally, the race began and I was off with my twin. Throughout the race, my pace was pretty good, since my brother was tracking it with his Strava app and I was tracking it with my not so good Run Tracker. We managed a 7:00-something as we started, which I knew was unsustainable. As the race continued, the pace was more familiar. A 8:00-something. That was more like it. Eventually, the pace evened out to a 8:30-something, and then an 9:00-something. This was slower than the normal pace that we had. Before the halfway point, I saw Hrönn passing both my brother and I. Compared to two years ago, I didn’t feel as sick towards the end of the race. It was pretty mild and we were getting onto the track. Only a quarter mile to go…
Then I crossed the finish line with my brother on the race track. I finished with a time of 27:11. For my age group, I placed 5th out of 15 and my brother placed 4th out of 15. I placed 91 out of 354 and my brother placed 90. My pace averaged 8:45 per mile, a 11 second improvement from last year. Upon finishing the race, I was doing my cool downs for a few minutes. Here are a few photos from the race.
Before the race!
After the race!
And let’s not forget the results!
With the race over, I got a group picture with all the other runners and saw the awards ceremony with my twin. That’s when I found out my competition for next year. For my age group, 3rd place was sub 24 minutes. 2nd place was also sub 23 minutes. 1st place was just over 22 minutes. With that knowledge, I need to have sub 24 minutes to medal for next year. We then got one more group picture with everyone else that was wearing the 5K shirts for this year.
After that, my brother and I drove back to the Hilton Garden Inn to clean up. After cleaning up, I said goodbye to my mom and dad, who were leaving to go back home. After my brother and I said goodbye, my brother and I left the Hilton Garden Inn to return to the high school.
Like last year, the high school was available for parking this year! My brother paid the $5 in parking and actually found a parking spot pretty easily this year.
We took the shuttle down the Officer Joshua T. Miktarian Memorial Parkway to the festival grounds. How many twins have registered now?
2477? Not bad!
Once inside the festival grounds, it was time to meet some more twins. I started with meeting Sue & Molly, identical twins from Finley, Ohio. Here is a picture of me with them and my twin:
After that, my brother and I got a picture in front of the 2025 sign. This was the result:
And before I continue to meet more twins, I decided to check out the “Celebrating 50 Festivals Exhibit”. I also needed to capture some footage since my mom and dad missed it, so checking it out was a must. For those who were there, I hope that you saw the exhibit!
The entrance!
And here some other pictures that I captured while in the exhibit. Enjoy!
Lots of t-shirts from over the years!
Getting to the present!
And a nice to celebrate 50 years of festivals!
In front of the entrance of the exhibit!
Overall, if you missed it, the exhibit was split up into two parts. The first part covered the history of the founding of Twinsburg. The second part covered the history of the Twins Days Festivals. For the city itself, there were various historical artifacts from the Twinsburg Historical society (Fun Fact: This building was Twinsburg’s first school!). Overall, the exhibits were good with a timeline divided by decades. From the start of Twins Days in 1976 to the current festival in 2025. This was a wonderful exhibit, and I was glad to capture the footage that I needed.
I also found Kaisha and Erika checking out the exhibit in their 50th Anniversary Walt Disney World outfits, complete with ears. It was fun to talk to them again before capturing some more action for Sunday.
I was hungry for some lunch, so my brother and I hit the vendors again. My brother wasn’t feeling like a GYRO this year, so we settled on something different. What did we get? Some fried walleye with some hush puppies! The picture speaks for itself. It was delicious!
Deep fried goodness!
After that, it was time for dessert. But my mission was to have something that would serve as a replacement for the fried Oreos, since they still didn’t have them. The next best thing was a chocolate funnel cake. Before we get to that, I give you the Fried Oreos from three years ago!
Can you PLEASE bring these back in 2026?!
And now, the yummy (and not so exciting) chocolate funnelcake from this year (and last year, and the year before)!
(Psst! I’m pretending it’s a Fried Oreo!)
After that, I decided to meet some more twins. Between the exhibit and lunch, I met a LOT of new twins. The twins that I met included the following:
- Logan & Ryan (Met in 2022), fraternal twins from Auburn Township, Ohio
- Cassandra & Clarissa (Met in 2023), identical twins from Billings, Montana
- Molly & Luna, identical twins from Louisville, Kentucky
- Hailey & Hannah (Met in 2022), identical twins from Aberdeen, South Dakota
- Tara & Heather, identical twins from Washington, DC and Berkley, California
- Aubrey & Sydney (Met in 2024), identical twins from Strongsville, Ohio
- Justin & Jordan, fraternal twins from Brooklyn, New York
- Maritza & Maylinda, fraternal twins from Columbus, Ohio
- Lori & Lynn, identical twins from Middletown, Connecticut
- Petina & Christina, identical twins from Bangor, Maine and Suffield, Connecticut
- Amanda & Laura, identical twins from Rochester, New York
- Laura & Linda (Met in 2024), identical twins from Sheffield Village, Ohio
After that, both I and my twin decided to check the Put a PIN on it display that I began the festival with. How many twins have visited now?
A lot more twins now!
And around the world!
After that, I met another set of twins with my brother. This was Jennifer & Traci (Met in 2022), identical twins from Woodland Park and Silt, Colorado. We decided to get a picture with them and this was how it turned out!
After that, my brother came across another set of multiples. But not just any multiples. Quadruplets! This was Anastasia, Olivia, Alex, & Mina, fraternal quadruplets from Cincinnati, Ohio with their “Quadfather” accompanying them. My twin and I got a picture with the quads and this was the result:
Quadruple the fun!
Following that, I met a couple more sets of twins. I met Macie & Seth, fraternal twins from Belleview, Ohio and Amber & Amy, identical twins from Lansing, Michigan.
After that, it was time for another twin group shot. I met Michael & Gabriel, fraternal twins from Elyria, Ohio, Sophia & Stacy, fraternal twins from Cleveland, Ohio, and Princeston & Preston, identical twins from Huntsville, Alabama. Both I and my twin got a group shot with them and this was the result:
Twin power!
It was then time to check out the royal court. With it being the 50th Anniversary of Twins Days, there was no royal court for this year. Instead, all the past Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses, and Grand Mashalls from every festival that they could find all returned for a wonderful reunion. With that, the royal court pavilion was still set up but was empty this time. Here is the rare sight of the empty pavilion, due to their being so many past royal courts this year.
The Royal Court in 2025. We’ll see you next year in 2026!
After that, it was time to get ready for the big picture again. Prior to that, I met some more twins. I met the following twins:
- Kasen & Kai (Met in 2024), fraternal twins from Erie, Pennsylvania
- Reevi & Kayleena, identical twins from Massillon, Ohio
- Vinnie & Barick, identical twins from North Olmstead, Ohio
- Cody & Connor, identical twins from Columbus, Ohio
- Patty & Peggy, identical twins from Jasper, Indiana
- Sam & Dave, identical twins from Alpha, Minnesota
After that, I met Jenny & Kathy (Met in 2024), identical twins from Harrisburg and Richmond, Virginia. I took a picture with them and my twin and this was the result:
After that, it was back to the line up. I met three more sets of twins:
- Barbara & Beverly, identical twins from Dallas and Richmond, Texas
- Emma & Jessa, identical twins from UNKNOWN, Ohio
- Kayako & Sakiko, identical twins from Osaka, Japan
After that, I saw Kaisha & Erika arriving with Etienne & Enya (Met in 2022), identical twins from Corona, California and Orlando, Florida. These were the twins that were raised by Twins Days. They attended every conference since they were born. A total of 31 conferences! They both share a birthday with me and my twin, only they are ten years younger. Here is a picture of my brother with the Disney Twins:
We made it before the big picture!
After that, it was time to take the picture. Is everyone ready?
Once again, there was no “darn rain”. In fact, it was beautiful!
After that, my brother and I decided to meet some more twins. I met the following twins:
- Alex & Sel, fraternal twins from Chicago, Illinois
- Ade & At(?), identical twins from Washington and Greenvile, North Carolina
- Darcia & Deanna, identical twins from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
- Caitlyn, Emily, & Megan, identical triplets from Amherst, Ohio
- Dan & Josh, identical twins from Akron, Ohio
- Onix, Adonis, & Phoenix, identical triplets from Streetsboro, Connecticut
- John & Charles (Met in 2023), identical twins from Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Guinvere & Anastasia, identical twins from Ocean City, New Jersey
- Ryder & Angela, identical twins from East Liverpool, Ohio
- Anita & Angela, identical twins from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
It was once again time for another fun twin group picture! We found Faith & Charity from Saturday along with Melissa & Teresa (also from Saturday). With them was a pair of Two Can Toucans! Courtney & Brittany (Met in 2023), identical twins from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Me and my twin got a picture with them and it was amazing. Here is what it looked like!
After that, I needed something refreshing. Since they screwed up on no twin pops again, it was time for some Kona Ice. Since there still wasn’t any twin pops, this was the next best thing. My brother and I looked everywhere yesterday for the coolers but we couldn’t find any. To this, I have a message for the committee: Bring back Twin Pops for next year for 2026! I had some twin pops back at home so I know that they’re around! I know the company had some problems but I surely hope it’s worked out next year.
Twin Pops Circa 2022 – Hopefully, we’ll get them in 2026!
Maybe…next year for 2026?
Kona Ice! It wasn’t Twin Pops but it was the next best thing!
My brother and I then took another picture in front of a 50th anniversary sign. This is the result:
After the picture, I met some more twins. I met Gina & Sabrina, identical twins from Valparaiso, Indiana.
Then I met a twin that was recording audio and before I knew it, I ended up being interviewed in the middle of a podcast. This was Tyid. His identical twin Tyari wasn’t present, but both twins are from Los Angeles, California. The podcast you ask? It’s the Tytwinz Twinnin’ Ain’t Easy Podcast. Tyid asked me a few questions regarding me and my twin and we had a good interview. Oh. And don’t forget to check out their podcast! Tytwins Twinnin’ Ain’t Easy on YouTube!
After that fun podcast interview, the festival was winding down. What was the attendance now?
2,556! Second highest attendance ever!
After that, I found Eric & Steve, a set of twins that I met at the high school on Friday. My brother and I decided to get a picture with them. This was the result:
I then met a few more twins before I left the festival grounds:
- Laurel & Stephanie (Met in 2022), identical twins from Cleveland, Ohio
- Eric & Jason (Met in 2024), fraternal twins from Scranton, Pennsylvania
- Analyse & Adriana, identical twins from Lorain, Ohio
After that, I met my last set of twins. Who would I meet but Kylie & Rylie, fraternal twins from Conneaut, Ohio? To emphasize the coincidence, I’m Kyle and my brother is Ryan. We’re also fraternal twins! This clearly made it the perfect spot to end, so I took a few more pictures before leaving the festival grounds:
I guess this is it…
It was a Nifty Fifty!
With Twins Days all over, it was time for dinner. And before you ask, no. My brother and I ended up not going bowling since I was tired. Where did we go for dinner? Where else but Sheetz Made to Order (MTO).
Once at Sheetz, I was awestruck at the number of twins that had the same idea as us. At its busiest, I saw three different sets of twins all ordering on the touch screens at the same time! When these twins finished, it was time for me and my brother to order. At Sheetz, there’s something that you should know about their food when you order it. Whatever food you get, you have to say it in autotune. It’s just for fun! So, what did my brother and I get?
For starters, we wanted something different than nachos. We both got a Big Mozzzzzzzz …with jalapeñosssssssss, baconnnnnnnnnn, and Boom Boom sauceeeeeeeeee….We got that with a cup of fryzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….. (Mr. TalkBox, eat your heart out!)
While I was waiting for the food to come, I talked to a mother who was waiting for an order of hot dogs to finish up. Her twin daughters were Addison & Averie, identical twins from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And while we missed them in the parade, they both dressed up like Slinky from Toy Story. Here is a picture of me and my twin with the mom while I waited for my food.
And after some more waiting, the foodddddddd was doneeeeeeeee….. Here is a shot of Big Mozz with his latest hit Single: Cup of Fryz!
The single was certified platinum!
But we’re not done. What to drink? A frozen hot chocolateeeeeee with brownie bitesssss, cookies and creammmmm, and whipped creammmmm….of course! Need proof? This picture speak for itself…in autotune, of course!
The Frozen Hot Chocolate performs its encore!
After the food was eaten, it was time to head back to the Hilton Garden Inn. Once I got there, I found Kaisha & Erika talking to Donald & Ronald. We had another wonderful conversation and another wonderful picture! This was the perfect way to end Sunday so here’s my picture with my twin and the two long-timer sets of twins (if you consider 11 years to be long-timer):
Fancy seeing you all again! Time for some R&R!
After that, we then went back up to the fourth floor. We entered 425 and lightened our load.
After we entered our room, I pretty much cleaned everything up and prepared everything for tomorrow. I then ate, showered, and went to bed to rest myself for the trip home…
7:30 a.m. I slept in only a little bit this time. After that, I wanted to get everything to the car. I ate breakfast and packed everything.
At around 10:10, I wrapped things up and my brother and I checked out of the Hilton Garden Inn. It was now officially time to leave Twinsburg. We left the Hilton Garden Inn at 10:17 a.m.
But not without refueling my tank of gas first. We took our car to none other than the Sheetz gas station and filled up the tank.
Since the Fresh Start Diner was closed, we had Sheetz for breakfast instead. I couldn’t get a Walker Breakfast Rangerrrrrr this year (or last couple years), so my brother and I settled for something different. Remember: this is Sheetz Made to Order (MTO), so all food that you order needs to be said in autotune! I got a sausage, egg, pepper jack, bacon, and jalapeño Breakfast Shmuffinnnnnnn… with Boom Boom sauce and some Cheesy Bacon Bombzzzzzz on the sideeeeeee….. Here’s a nice shot of that food in autotune:
After filling up my gas, it was time to say goodbye to Twinsburg. Enjoy these pictures from two years ago as we all say a sad goodbye to Twinsburg for 2025 (Also, it is worth noting that the Twinsburg Town Square is still under construction. It should be usable by the next Twins Days Festival!).
Over the course of this trip, there was definitely some highs and lows. The only major low was running low on battery power and having to recharge my battery, which affected my my number of twins met. Besides that, this whole weekend was amazing. But this is what I learned. I have an awesome family of twins! One of the largest family of twins that you will ever find in the world. Our annual home, right here in northeastern Ohio. And now, as we all say goodbye to Twinsburg together, I give you the list of all the wonderful twins that I have met over the course of the weekend. Here is the list of 236 twins:

After that, we left Sheetz. It was now time to have cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory by ourselves, since unlike 2019 (and 2023 when my aunt and grandma was able to join me and my brother), our aunt, uncle, and cousins couldn’t meet us there for it this time once again (like last year). This would be at the Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi. We left Twinsburg around 10:59. I took the same way back. I went down I-480 and I-80 on the Turnpike. I paid $8.25 after leaving the turnpike to go on I-280 North. After driving into Michigan, it was a pretty sunny. It was official. We were back in Michigan.
We continued into Monroe County on I-75 North. Eventually, we passed through Wayne County and got onto I-696 West. Unlike last year, there was no “keep left at the fork” this time, since we were taking a different exit. We took I-696 and we followed it to the exit for Novi Road. We then followed Novi Road all the way to Twelve Oaks Mall and eventually found a parking space at 2:03 PM. We got out and entered the Cheesecake Factory.
Finally here after three hours of driving!
What did I get? Well, after studying the only menu in the world that’s still a little bit like a novel, I found what I was looking for. I was hungry so I helped myself to some Tex Mex Wontons since my brother and I wanted to ensure that we could finish a cheesecake. My brother ordered the Thai Chili Shrimp.
I then looked at the novel…I mean, menu. With 34 different cheesecakes, which two will I eat?
Fortunately, I already had in mind what I wanted. I decided on the Godiva Cheesecake and to be different this year, I got the Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake.
Eventually, the appetizer came, and my did it look good!
Check out some Tex Mex food that’s on a roll!
And some HOT shrimp!
While I waited for my food, I reflected on the Twins Days Festival with my twin brother. All in all, it was a fun trip to Twinburg.
After eating the appetizer, we reflected on our trip some more while they prepared the cheesecakes. When they arrived, they were enormous. Just look at them!
Lady Godiva!
And some Red Velvet if you please…
Now this was a tough battle. If you were here for 2019, you should know this by now. Whenever you’re faced up against two slices of multi-layered cheesecake, the cheesecake is going to win every time. EXCEPT for this year. Having eaten no bread like I did in 2019, I was prepared. Despite the richness of the Godiva chocolate, I took small and careful bites, using the two large globs of whipped cream to lessen the intensely rich Godiva chocolate. And in the end, I conquered the Godiva Cheesecake! In the battle of Man versus Cheesecake, Man won again! For next year, I will pick two totally different cheesecakes. What will I pick? Find out in 2026!
After having our cheesecake and getting my leftovers, it was time to head home. I took I-96 West toward Brighton, where US-23 North merges. With that, I merged onto Brighton and continued north, through Linden and Fenton. After that, I drove through Flint.
There is not much more to say here, besides navigating familiar territory. Vienna Township, Birch Run, Buena Vista Township, Zilwaukee Bridge, Exit 162B to get onto US-10 West. Very straightforward.
And with that, I have given you every memory that I could think of from one of the most memorable trips that I’ve been on. You’ve relived it with me and the trip is over. If you want to relive it again, go ahead. Scroll all the way up to the top and re-read this entire recap. It’s really one of those trips that’s worth reliving, and if I could do that, I would totally relive it. But the best that I can do is capture time, put it into words, and let the words create a wonderful picture. A picture of a wonderful land full of twins for just one weekend. A land where every twin gets to be an honorary Twinsburg citizen for the weekend. This land was truly special and totally unique and it’s something that I don’t ever want to forget. I’m glad that I shared it with you and I hope to share a different version of this picture with you next year, because it’s something that I will truly never forget.
With the recap over, it is time to eat. Farewell everyone!

Muse: *yawn* That was fun… (Wow. Did I just go again?)
Twin Muse: *yawn* It was! Time for a nap… (I just went a lot! Maybe I can get my twinnie to schedule an emergency “bathroom break” before napping.)
