Remember Job Offer? This is the beginning of another happy chapter in my life.
Yesterday at 4:03 PM, the USPS submitted a conditional job offer and I accepted it.
It was for the position of RURAL CARR ASSOC/SRV REG RTE, and the hourly rate is $20.38 per hour.
Muse: Congratulations! I’m so happy for you!
Twin Muse: Yay! You accepted a job offer at the post office! I am very excited!
Thanks.
Muse: You see? It was only a matter of time before something good like this happened. Enjoy the new job. You earned it.
Twin Muse: All that perseverance and patience paid off! Your prayers were answered! Enjoy delivering mail!
Yeah. It is very exciting. I let my family know about the good news and they’re celebrating with me.
Muse: Yeah…That’s fun to watch when you have big news like that.
Twin Muse: Isn’t it fun? Let’s celebrate with him, twinnie!
That’s the good news. There is, however, some bad news. The bad news is that I have a cold right now, and I’m doing everything to get over it.
Muse: *gasp* A cold? Well, you better stay away from me!
Twin Muse: Relax, twinnie! Intangibles can’t catch human colds!
Muse: Right! I was just playing up the comedy. In all seriousness Kyle, I hope that you feel better!
Twin Muse: Get some soup and some rest! I’ll be praying for a speedy recovery!
I now need to get ready. I have to call the Postmaster to schedule my fingerprinting for the onboarding for my job. I already completed the background check questionnaire last night so everything’s moving right along. I can’t wait for this to start!
Today’s high is going to be 33 degrees and the silver lining is celebrating accepting my job offer.
To those of you who like celebrating the achievement of a new job, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I’m so happy that he got it! Now to get on Facebook. I hope that he looks at my comment and reaction…
Twin Muse: I’m happy, too! But did you see the snow storm? I doesn’t look like we’re going anywhere today…
Muse: Yes! I got the snow plow ready!
Twin Muse: And I got the hot chocolate ready when we’re done! Bring it on, snow storm!
