Muse:  Well, that was a hot mess!

Twin Muse:  Tell me about it!

Muse:  What hot mess?  Everyone, I just finished working a 11 to 7 shift at Little Caesars.  The manager there couldn’t believe that we were there instead of Kyle.  But after some convincing, she let us both work.

Twin Muse:  Yeah.  And it was rough!  I have dried pizza sauce all over my arms and it’s gross.  Can I get a shower now?

Muse (bursts into laughter):  Oh no…Oops!

Twin Muse:  What?

Muse:  Don’t you know?  We forgot to switch back!

Twin Muse:  So does that mean that Kyle is still a genie?

Muse:  Yup.  This was only supposed to be done during the Switch 2 entry yesterday!  Let’s get back to normal.  3…2…1…

SWITCH!

Seriously?  Last night was a trainwreck.  Sure, the inside of my lamp was like the TARDIS with an enormous mansion on a large lot but who cares?  I was lonely and miserable while my Muses just enjoyed playing.

Jeannie Muse: Master, I’m so sorry!

Twin Jeannie: Really Master, we are!

Sorry?  I missed an entire shift at work because of you.

Jeannie Muse:  No you didn’t, master.  We worked your shift instead.  From what your manager told me, she would just “let it slide” this time.  Besides, it was easy to keep up having one extra person!

Twin Jeannie:  It was, but it was still insanely busy.  Front counter, ovens, make line, dishes.  Ugh…It was so busy…

And now you two can let me have my life back.  I at least get to work my Saturday shift without having to worry about you two.

Jeannie Muse:  It was a fun experience, but I’ll leave you to your evening now.

Twin Jeannie:  Any wishes, Master?

Yes.  I wish that you two would treat yourselves to a nice spa and gourmet dinner!

Jeannie Muse: OOH!!!  Time for a spa, sis!

Twin Jeannie:  I’m right behind you, twinnie!

Jeannie Muse and Twin Jeannie:  Thank you, Master!

*both Muses vanish in a cloud of smoke*

Well, you see the title.  The weekend is ruined for two reasons:

1.  I work a 11 to 7  on both Friday and Saturday.

2.  My Muse already wasted all of Friday living my life while I lived theirs.

Hopefully, next weekend will look a little better than this.  Time to enjoy my evening now before another shift.

Today’s high is going to be 77 degrees and the silver lining is enjoying this evening, I guess?

Twin Jeannie: And let’s not forget the delicious gourmet dinner afterwards!  The Master knows how to treat us right!  Time for an awesome spa!
