Once again, the time has come to say goodbye to summer.
For 2024, what events were the most memorable? What were the most memorable events in the Summer of 2024?
First of all, I celebrated mom’s 65th birthday, watching Inside Out 2, the 4000th entry of Me & My Muse, going to the Toastmasters TLI, earning Area Director of the Year, going up north for the Fourth of July, celebrating eleven years of Me & My Muse, getting a free Slurpee, visiting my friend in Traverse City, seeing the movie Twisters, going to the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio, having cheesecake with my brother at the Cheesecake Factory, celebrating my 40th birthday with my family, having dinner at Sumo Sushi, my niece Harper’s 5th birthday, having sushi at Fuji Sushi, Jeff coming over, seeing Deadpool & Wolverine, 9/11, and watching World Trade Center.
With Cold Stone Creamery still gone, I will be getting ice cream at Salt Spring Ice Cream later on. The ice cream will be gone before I know it. Summer 2024 was the same way. Gone just like that. As I say goodbye to Summer 2024, I’ll admit that this summer was kind of busy, and it had its ups and downs. It was a lot of fun, with some hot weather. For the most part, it was very nice in June and September, hot in July, and fairly hot in August. There were a bunch of fairly hot days but there could’ve been a lot more really hot ones. With Summer 2025 just 9 months away, what will it bring? Will it even come? Who knows? There is no telling.
Farewell, Summer 2024. You were quite a memorable summer.
Muse: Kyle! It’s the first day of fall and now you’re getting this finished?
Twin Muse: SOMEBODY didn’t plan ahead of time!
Shh! So I’m a day late. Does that matter? Now, what did you think of my Summer Outro?
Muse: It was wonderful.
Twin Muse: I loved it!

Muse: What do you mean? Are you saying that you recycled it?
Twin Muse: Have you seen the past years? Everyone. He totally did!
Shh!
Muse: Well, it’s longer than yesterday at least.
Twin Muse: I’ll give you credit there!
And it’s a good way to end this summer. By reflecting on it. Time to enjoy myself and work on my milestone. I will then enjoy the rest of the day.
Muse: I’ll let you. Have fun working on the milestone!
Twin Muse: Yay! We get a new transformation soon!
Wasn’t this summer great? Even though it wasn’t great to everyone, it did have its ups and downs.
Today’s high is going to be 72 degrees and the silver lining is having ice cream.
