That’s pretty much the gist of today.  I will be getting an evaluation at MRS and then go shopping.  After that, I’ll be headed home.  That is pretty much this day in a nutshell.

Today’s high is going to be 64 degrees and the silver lining is it being the weekend at last.

*Meanwhile, Shower, Kyle, Squall, Rinoa, Annie, and Irvine are launched into space and are caught by the Esthar Lunar Base Space Station.  Both Shower and Squall meet Ellone on the second floor.  After talking to Ellone, both Kyle and Rinoa wake up and take spacesuits to break Adel’s Tomb seal in space.  Both Shower and Squall put on spacesuits and evacuate with Annie, Irvine, and Piet*

Ellone: Shower, you should be protecting Kyle, not me. You’re the only thing on his mind right now. He’s calling you.

Shower: Ellone, please do it.  Take me to Kyle. Please. Take me to him!!!

Piet: Next! Hurry!

Ellone: I don’t know if I can send you. I don’t know.

*They run to the escape pod.  The Lunar Cry’s red stream falls into the atmosphere and flattens out, covering the sky in a dark red. Adel’s Tomb falls into the Lunatic Pandora safely. At the pod room, everyone except Shower and Squall gets into a holding device*

Shower:  OH DEAR GOD!!!!  Kyle is going to die!  He can’t die!!!! Oh, I just can’t take it.  Ellone, please do it.  I have never felt like this in my entire life…

Squall: …. (Same with Rinoa!  I have never felt like this either…)

Ellone: ……

Shower:  Just do it, Ellone.  Take me to Kyle.  Take me to his past.

Squall:   And when you’re done, can you take me to Rinoa’s past?

Ellone: Ok. It may not work, but we’ll try, ok?

Piet: Come on! We have to go now!

[Shower and Squall get into the fourth pod and they all take off, just as the Lunar Base
collides with the stream from the Lunar Cry and crumbles underneath the sheer force. Meanwhile, Shower is taken back to the not-so-distant past, when Kyle and Annie are escaping D-District Prison*

Annie, I need you to go back to the desert prison!

Annie: No can do, sugar! Your father made it very clear to me. To me and Irvine both!

Irvine: Correct! He said, “Get you and Rinoa out!” We’re taking you both back to Deling City.

Rinoa: You are, huh? Well, my nails say otherwise!

And my fist!

Annie: Yeow! You about knocked the wind outta me! Y’all are all kinds of crazy!

Irvine: You can say that twice!

Are you just going to desert all of your friends? No. We’re going back and helping everyone.

Rinoa: You think you’re being so helpful in rescuing us. Well, get a spine and go back! We’re helping them!

*Annie pulls over and gets out*

Annie: Baulderdash! They’ll be fine! They can hold their own, ya hear?

Irvine: I agree. Let’s get back. Your father’s probably worried…

Oh. Can you be absolutely sure about that? Shower doesn’t act on anything unless ordered to. The same goes for Squall. We can’t have them stay there. We’re helping them, and I don’t care how many bruises I give you!

Rinoa: That goes for you too, Irvine!

*I grab Annie and Rinoa grabs Irvine as we both shove them back into the truck*

Annie: YEOW! Y’all about to turn me black and blue! Irvine, y’all better turn it back or there will be hell to pay!

Irvine: Enough…OW! You win! We’ll go! We’ll go!

And it only took a couple of bruises…

Rinoa: Make that five for Irvine!

*Rinoa and I smile as the truck turns around and heads back towards the Desert (D)District Prison.  Ellone’s visiontakes her past then, to a meeting of Zill and Kyle in the cafeteria.*

Zill: Shower’s ring?!  I have no idea where she bought it from.

It’s a very cool ring!  Can you please make one for me?

Zill: You’re talking about the one with the monster carved on the ring, right?

Yup!  That’s the one!

Zill: Hey!  Since I’m so skilled with rings, how about I make you one!  I can definitely do that…

So you can really do that?  Okay then!  Do it!

Zill: I can, but we need to have Shower show us the real ring.

N-no!  We can’t do that!

Zill: “Why not?”

I actually kind of like Shower, so it would be embarrassing…

Zill: WHOA!  You do?  Okay….

Wait!  No!  It’s not what you think!  Shower and I are friends!

*The vision ends and the seven are still in the pod*

Shower:   Ellone, you were WAY off on that one.  That’s too far back in the past!

Ellone: I’m sorry. Let me try again.

*She sends her back again.*

Shower:  (Huh?  Where am I now?)

*She’s at the Galbadia Garden’s auditorium again, after fighting Edea.*

Shower:  (You are…)

*Kyle’s body floats over and cradles her in a trance-like state.*

Shower: (Kyle…)

*Kyle kisses Signe*

Shower: (Wait a second!  This ISN’T Kyle!)

Oh, my dear loyal knightess, Signe.  The sorceress is alive…The sorceress demands.

Shower: (WHAT?!!! Ultimecia!? That sorceress from the future is inside Kyle?! …Transferred from
Edea? Where is Kyle?!!!)

Find the legendary Lunatic Pandora, said to be hidden beneath the ocean. Only then shall the sorceress provide you with dreams again.

Shower: (Kyle!  You must answer me now!  Where are you?!)

Signe: “Right away, Ultimecia.”

(…Shower…What’s going on?  I’m scared…)

Shower:  (Kyle!!!!!)

Ultimecia: Who’s there!? Get out!

*Ellone’s session into the past ends.*

Shower:  Kyle!!!

*Ellone drops out of her pod onto her knees.*

Shower: Ellone?!  Hello?  Are you okay?

Ellone: Did you get to find out what happened to Kyle? Were you able to
change the past?

Shower: Ellone, it was terrible.  There was nothing that I could do! What am I supposed to do to save him?

Ellone: I remember those eyes. You just looked at me with the same eyes you had when you were little. Those curious, innocent, puppy dog eyes. I loved those eyes.

Shower: What does it matter what kind of eyes I had when I looked at you?  That was in the past.

Ellone: That’s right. What’s important is right now. I finally realized that.

Shower:  So that means that I have to help Kyle now.  Not in the past.  That’s pretty much the only thing that I can do.  Am I right?

Ellone: Yes. Talk to him, Shower. Your voice may not reach him, but your heart will. Are you ready? I’m taking you to the nearest past… To the closest present to the future…

*The view changes to Kyle, drifting about in space. His life support is low.*

(Will I…make it?  How am I going…to make…it…?  I’m helpless…hopeless…Drifting forever in space…No…It can end…like this…No!!!!  I’m…Yeah…That’s it…I’m…I’m going to die…die in space…Good bye. Shower…)

*Shower’s thoughts reach Kyle somehow.*

Shower:  (Kyle!!! No!!! Please!!!  Please don’t give up!!!  I…I love you!)

Squall: (Rinoa!!! No!!! Don’t give up!!!)

(Huh…..?)

Shower:  (Can you actually hear me?  Listen!  This is me…Shower!  You can’t give up now.  You can’t!!!  Kyle!!! KY-LE!!!!!!!)

*Kyle gets drowsy as he floats along.*

Shower:  (Kyle, please.  You need to listen to me!  Please try to remember everything!  Kyle, I am right next to you right now and I love you.  Please listen.  Please???)

*He opens his eye to see Shower’s ring*

(What?  How can I….still………be………alive?  Shower?)

Wow…..*gasp*……the button….I see it…..

*Kyle presses a button on his spacesuit and gets backup oxygen*

Shower: Well, I’m going.  I’m going out there to find Kyle.

Ellone: You didn’t need my help at all.

Shower: Thank you very much, sis…

*Shower grabs hold of a handle and it elevates her up. Her teammate yells:*

Annie:  Golly!  What are y’all doing?  You’re going out there in space?  You’re all kinds of crazy, miss…

Piet: Idiot! There’s no way she can get back! She’s insane! She’s gonna run out of fuel and life-support in no time. They’re both gonna die.”

*Up at the top of the pod structure, Shower exits and moves to catch Kyle.*

Shower: Oh Kyle……Just where are you?  No matter what happens, I am going to find you!  I just need to get right in front of him and catch him.  I only have one shot, so I better not miss…

*Shower drifts towards Kyle in the distance, trying to center herself on him*
