That is the theme for this weekend’s conference. What conference? If you are just tuning in, I am headed to Kalamazoo this afternoon for the District 62 Spring Conference at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo in Kalamazoo. Unlike the the past conferences that I have attended, this is the very first conference that I am co-chairing.
First of all, let’s get the easy one out of the way. This morning, I woke up and packed. I will be leaving with my brother when he comes home.
Since I woke up this morning, I’ve been in conference preparation mode. For everyone who has had a part in planning the conference, it begins tonight with the District Director’s Reception at Main St. Pub in Portage. I have until 2:00 to finish packing, getting ready, and get to Portage in time for the District Director’s Reception at 6:00.

Am I ever! This weekend is going to be amazing. I will be hearing from Dawn Frail, our Region 6 International Director. You’ll hear more about that in Sunday’s recap.

Twin Muse: Yes. The Imaginary division was modeled after Toastmasters International. Therefore, the annual conference is held around the same time of year.
Makes sense to me. Time to get ready.

I need to get ready for the District Director’s Reception, and then leave for the Main Street Pub a little later in the afternoon (probably between 2:00 and 3:00). Depending on how early I get to Portage, I may check in to the Springhill Suites by Marriott early. There will be an entry tomorrow, trust me…
Today’s high is going to be 65 degrees and the silver lining is being all ready for the conference.
