In terms of to-do’s for today, my parents are coming home, so the house needs to be in order.  I will also be presenting a speech as well…

 

Watts:  Sir?!  What are you doing?  Our princess needs you!

Who?  Rinoa?  Sorry.  What’s going on?

Watts:  I just got some top secret info!  The Galbadian Army will be planning an invasion on Dollet tomorrow!  It has something to do with that communication tower!  That’s all I got, sir!

Zone:  We can’t have any slacking from you.  Your role in the resistance is important!

What do you want me to do?

*Zone presses his hands against his stomach*

Zone: Ow…OWWW!  Just help us with a little recruitment mission.

Recruiting?  You mean we don’t have enough help?

Zone:  We don’t.  Now the Dollet Dukedom will be recruiting SeeD from Balamb Garden to help stop the Galbadian Army invasion that is supposed to happen tomorrow.  Your goal is to speak to the headmaster.  Plead with him to get some of their SeeD to help our resistance.

Watts:  They normally don’t accept small requests, so give it your all when you’re pleading with them, sir!

Rinoa:  It’s okay, Watts.  I will be going with him tomorrow night.  It’s the least that I can do for my twin brother…

(What?  We’re twins?!  Siblings?  Did my Twin Muse’s transformation cause this?)

*Rinoa gives me a tap on the shoulder*

Rinoa:  Hey.   Don’t worry about the mission.  We’re not alone on this!  If you can’t reach the headmaster, I will!  Seifer knows him!  So does his twin sister Signe…

(What?!  Seifer has a sister now?  I never remembered this in the original story…)

Rinoa:  Kyle…I know your strong feelings toward Signe.  I have them too towards Seifer.  But we have to focus on the Forest Owls!  We need SeeD to help us!  Now, I need to design the dummy train for our next plan.  We will need SeeD to pull this off!

(Signe?  I have feelings toward her?  I don’t remember these feelings.  But why do I have these new memories?)

Watts:  I’m going to gather some more information.  It’s my specialty, sir!

Zone:  Go ahead!  Come back with some good info!  Those Galbadians…they can’t run Timber forever…

Rinoa:  Yes.  I’m longing for a liberated Timber…I can’t stand the Galbadian Army.  So, Kyle?  What are you thinking?  You’re going to tell me!

Are you always this assertive?

Rinoa:  Always the introvert.  Just like father!  He was right!  Do you want to talk?  Sister to brother?

Not really.  I’m just trying to figure everything out.

Rinoa:  What’s to figure out?  The mission is clear.  There’s going to be a SeeD Inauguration Ball at Balamb Garden tomorrow to celebrate the new SeeDs that have passed the exam.  We put on our best clothes and find the SeeDs that can introduce us to the headmaster. Ooh, I hope that Seifer becomes a SeeD!  Don’t you hope that Signe becomes one, Kyle?  We could make it a double date afterwards!  Tee hee!

What do you mean?  I don’t even know this Signe…

Rinoa:  Oh, you’re such a kidder!  I’ve heard you before!  You talk about her all the time!  “Signe is so great.  We had such a good date.  I wish I could spend more time with Signe…” I heard you, and it’s okay.  I feel the same way about Seifer…

Well, I need to lay down now.  Can you let me do that?

Rinoa: Certainly!  The Forest Owls has gracious given us two rooms on this train!  Your room is just past mine.  I will give you your privacy…

*I exit planning room and take hallway all the way to my room*

This is weird.  Somehow, I am in the plot with Rinoa.  Considering that my Twin Muse is now Shower, I’m guessing that Squall is somewhere in the picture as well.  Maybe Shower didn’t remember because of the GF?

Anyway, I need to continue with the the plan.  Look through my wardrobe and find my nicest clothes for the SeeD Inauguration Ball tomorrow at Balamb Garden.  That’s today in a nutshell.

Today’s high is going to be 66 degrees and the silver lining is my parents coming back later.

Quistan:  SeeD Cadets,  I will need you all to begin training for tomorrow’s field exam.  All partners have been assigned to practice sparring.  Any questions?

Signe:  I have one.  Why do I have to be paired with this loser?  Why, she barely even has her training bra!

*the whole class bursts into laughter*

Shower: (Training bra?  Well, it takes one to know one, Signe…)

Quistan:  That will be quite enough out of you, Signe!  One more remark like that, and I will have you suspended!  Do you want to attend the field exam tomorrow?

Signe:  Why certainly!  The field exams are so much fun!

Quistan:  Thank you, Signe.  Everyone.  Begin training with your partner.  The field exam begins tomorrow!

*Shower and Signe both leave to train in a rocky area near Balamb Garden*

Signe:  Let’s face it, Shower.  You’re pathetic.  You will never become a SeeD…

Shower:  Tell that to my blade, Signe!

*Shower and Signe begin sparring back and forth, the fight becoming very fierce*

Shower:  Take THIS!

*Shower slashes Signe, leaving a scar*

Signe:  Oh!  So a GIRL like you can fight!  Well girlie, this is how a WOMAN fights!

*Signe prepares a fire spell and shoots it at Shower, knocking her down*

Shower: Ughhh…You may have knocked me down, but I’m not out!

*Shower stands back up and runs toward Signe, who slashes Shower across her face with a gunblade, leaving a scar*

Signe:  It’s over, Shower!  Time for the storm to begin!  Better start crying!

*both Shower and Signe collide with each other, causing Signe to knock Shower over with her gunblade*

Garden Faculty:  That will be enough, Signe!

Garden Faculty 2:  The objective is to spar with your opponent, not knock them unconscious!

*Garden Faculty gets out a communication device*

Garden Faculty:  Medical team!  We have a SeeD Cadet down!  Student’s name is Shower Leoncore!  Take her to the [Infirmary] at once!

*Medical team arrives with a stretcher and places Shower on it*

Garden Faculty:  Signe, this is your final warning.  You are not to spar with your partner anymore like that, or you’re facing expulsion.  Understood?!

Signe:  Understood!  Yeah, I wanted to knock her down, but I guess I was a little too rough.  Maybe next time, she will think twice when fighting against a woman.  She really needs to go back to sparring against her little girl scouts…

*meanwhile, Shower is carried on a stretcher into Balamb Garden*

*coincidentally, Squall is carried into the garden on a similar stretcher towards the infirmary*
