During a time like this, there is no better time than to pray.
Today, I participated in the National Day of Prayer. I prayed for our nation, an end to this pandemic, and those on the front lines in the medical field. In doing this, I felt peace like I never had before. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says that “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)
In having the rest of the day ahead of me, I will continue praying and will tune in tonight for the national broadcast of the National Day of Prayer from 8:00 to 10:00 PM. That is pretty much this day in a nutshell.
Stay sane, clean, and safe everyone!
Today’s high is going to be 56 degrees and the silver lining is tuning in for tonight’s broadcast.
To those of you who prefer hope and love over fear, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I’ve been praying a lot today. O God, please heal this land!
