My, has it already been a month already?
I feel like it was only yesterday that I was just coming and going as I please. And then the pandemic began. While this would technically be 29 days, I am counting the days since I made the decision to begin self-isolation. It was Sunday a month ago that I went to a small group at church. This was before the Stay at Home order was given in Michigan. I went to the small group, and hurried home for the online church service. Since then, I have been holding out at home for the better part of the month.
To everyone who is still hanging in there after a month, how are you all doing? This may be the most trying trial of your life. There may be others but just hang in there. Our grandparents survived the Great Depression so a few months isn’t going to undo any of us. Even if it ends up being longer than that, know these three truths:
- God is good.
- God is in control.
- Jesus wins.
If you remember those three truths, you can get through any trial that happens. That is my tip for today. None of us are in control of this pandemic and for everyone still persevering, continue to do so. The darkness doesn’t last forever. There is light at the end of all this.
Stay sane, clean, and safe everyone!
Today’s high is going to be 50 degrees, with the temperature dropping down to 39 throughout the day.
To those of you who are still hanging in there after a month, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: One month already? I have enjoyed spending it with you. What will the next month have to offer? Hopefully things get better in that time. Hopefully…
