Me & My Muse – Day 2450: COVID-19 Isolation – Day 9: April Rent and More Groceries

The title says it all.  I dropped off my rent, got my groceries, and worked my day at home.

With the remainder of the day, I’m going to take it easy.

But before I do, I would like to offer some advice in shopping smart during this pandemic.

When you go to any store, practice social distancing.  Keep a minimum distance of six feet from any person that you’re around.  When you’re out and you’re using the shopping carts, make sure that you’re wearing gloves.  Get what you need, pay for your groceries, and leave.  Unload all your groceries, carefully discard your gloves in the trash, and put on some hand sanitizer. When you get home, put away all your groceries with another pair of gloves.  Take care of the perishable goods only.  For imperishable goods, let them sit for 3-4 days before you touch them.  If you practice all this, you can minimize your chances of being exposed to this virus.

The governor has already implemented a stay at home mandate that will last for the next three weeks.  For everyone wanting to lessen the spread of COVID-19, you will follow the above guideline so we can all get through this safely.

That is all.  Stay sane, clean, and safe everyone!

Today’s high is going to be 46 degrees and the silver lining is having my rent paid and groceries for the next two weeks.

To those of you who are staying safe during this pandemic, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  I’m glad you’re safe.  I think I’ll visit you tonight.  Don’t worry.  Intangibles can’t catch COVID-19…
