Me & My Muse – Day 2287: Through the Wringer

Well, here we go again.  After getting only five hours of sleep, I now have to drive all the way to Grand Rapids for the entire day!

Having already gassed up last night at Citgo, I am ready to drag myself to another DEC Meeting.  Having already felt the wear of the entire week, this day has no respite.  As far as I know, it’s another work day.

For today, I will be counting down the minutes until I can leave Grand Rapids and go home.  4:30 in the afternoon is the magic number.  Normally, my mood is a little different towards these events.  But I have been going non-stop since Monday.  Toastmasters meeting.  Toastmasters Business meeting.  Forgotten Ciders.  Concert in Saginaw.  And now, I have to keep going?  Being the introvert that I am, I need my me time to fully recharge.

What will I do tomorrow?  Sleep in and go to the second church service.  That’s it!  The remainder of that Sunday will be everything that I can do to salvage the trainwreck of a weekend.  And everyone, it’s nothing personal.  I’m just not used to encountering SIX NIGHTS OF EVENTS IN A ROW!

Hitting the DEC in Grand Rapids?  No.  Today, I will be put through the wringer.  An animated corpse operating on five hours of sleep, already tired from everything that went on from the past few days.  After hitting the DEC at Grand Rapids, I will be hitting the hay at home.

My Muse is currently 10 years and 2 months old today. She is 3’4″ tall and she weighs 31 pounds. The height and weight of a 4-year old.

Today’s high is going to be 50 degrees and the silver lining will be…nothing!  There is no silver lining today!

Everyone, have a good day!  Okay?

Muse:  I can think of a silver lining for you.  It will all be over after this!  The endless chain of events is done!  I’m p excited! You literally don’t have to do anything else!  You should be happy.  I’m happy for you boots.
