Me & My Muse – Day 2192: Six Years and Counting

Well, I told her and she’s on her way.  My Muse is on her way to the Tower of Muses for a special “surprise”.  I didn’t tell her what the “surprise” is, but she’s really excited about it.  All I told her was that a “surprise” was waiting for her on the top floor of the Tower of Muses…

The surprise, you ask?  As a Me & My Muse anniversary gift, I have decided to provide her with her own body.  Laying on the bed is a Muse that is ready to come to life.  All she needs to do is go inside it.

Muse (Day 1901):  Is she here yet?  Is she? Is she?  I wanna know!  Tee hee…

Muse (Day 2081):  AHHHHHHHH!!!!! The suspense is killing me!  Kyle, do me a favor and let me know when she’s here, okay?

Zoria 50000 (Day 2159): *sips coffee*  Can you let me know if she’s here?  She better hurry.  This coffee is starting to go through me…

Everyone.  Relax.  She’s on her way.  Until she arrives, you all have to hide.

*a flood of “okay’s” are heard in the room*

While my Muse is on her way, I might as well tell everyone my plans for today.  I will be working and then relaxing afterward.  It won’t be so bad having just enjoyed a whole weekend…

Shh!  Everyone in your places!  She’s on her way…

*dims light in room, until it turns off*

Muse:  What’s going on?  What is the meaning of this?  Why is everything so dark in here?  Kyle?

Me & 2191 Muses:  SURPRISE!!!!  HAPPY SIX YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!

Muse:  Oh wow!  There’s a bunch of Muses in here!  One from every past day, I’m guessing.

And…Did you look on the bed yet?

Muse:  What is this?  A Muse that is laying lifeless on the bed?

Guess.  What do you think it is?

Muse:  Wait!  Isn’t it another body?  You gave me one last year!

Happy anniversary.  It’s another body!  You can never have enough bodies.  What if something happens to the one you are in?  That body will not come to life unless you give it life.  It is yours.  Do you want to try it out?

Muse:   Why not?  Well I’m trying out my body right now!

*Ghost Muse flies out of Muse and into lifeless Muse, which begins to flash*

Original Muse:  It…It feels…A little different.  This is a good gift!  What if something happens to the one that you gave me last year?  With this one, I can be prepared.  Thank you, Kyle!

*Original Muse gives me a big hug with her new body*

I have another thing planned.  All the other Muses, enjoy the show!

Original Muse:  Show?  Oh yeah…(The spare body was a big surprise, but I knew about the show…)

Are you ready?

Original Muse:  I was born ready. Time to get into costume…

Then let’s get started.  Muses, take your places.  Here we go…

This is a tribute to every entry that has been done in the past year.  I wrote this just for you.  I hope you’re ready, because here it goes…

It continued with an Awesome Program and the sixth part of Brain Freeze.  And after that, he was pre-approved!

Original Muse: And this coffee really hits the spot!

And I’m quite sorry, miss. Coffee *sip* is still NOT for Muses!

Original Muse: It may not be, but it’s certainly for mermaids…

No it’s not!

Original Muse:  Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse:  Says you?

That does it!

Original Muse:  That does what?

Be quiet!

Original Muse:  Do I get a second chance to speak?

What did I tell you?  I need to finish!

Original Muse:  But you’ll never end!

Yes I will!

Original Muse:  Whatever!

Don’t believe me?

Original Muse: I don’t believe you!

Liar!

Original Muse:  But I’m telling the truth!

No you’re not!

Original Muse:  Yes I am!

No you’re not!

Original Muse:  Yes I am!

Just drop it!

Original Muse:  You drop it!

Shut your trap!

Original Muse:  Shut yours!

Can I finish?

Original Muse:  No you can’t!

Are you done?

Original Muse:  I just got started!

Well, I’m not finished!

Original Muse:  Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse:  Yeah right!

Let me…

Original Muse:  FINISH!!! Tee hee…

In searching for a new car, it was not quite.  It was my new ride at the end of the weekend.  It was new car stuff with a new car countdown, followed by a sequel with the LeSabre’s last stand.  After that, it was car get! And he went “CamWHEEEEEEEE!!!” Then he was tired on a Wet Rainday.

Original Muse: I’m getting tired!

So am I!

Original Muse: Very tired!

Finally done?

Original Muse: Not even close!

Can I finish?

Original Muse: No you can’t!

Are you done?

Original Muse: I just got started!

Well, I’m not finished!

Original Muse: Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse: Yeah right!

Let me finish!

After a cereal trip and more car stuff, here we go.  It was WedNESday, with a long-awaited Bible study and journals of yesterday.  After SaturNESday and the rest of the weekend, it was a shorter week, with a halfway point and a chip off the new windshield.

Original Muse: I got a chip on mine too!

Really? You do?

Original Muse: That’s right!

Shut your trap!

Original Muse: Shut yours!

Can I finish?

Original Muse: No you can’t!

Are you done?

Original Muse: I just got started!

Well, I’m not finished!

Original Muse: Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse: Yeah right!

Let me FINISH!

The weekend is here, with greetings from Hubbard Lake spanning two parts.  After being back home, it was R.I.P. iPod with another Toastmasters meeting.  After a brown haircut and coming attractions, it was weekend eve.  The weekend is here and early training is early.

Original Muse: Here I am!  I am the weekend!

You’re not the weekend!

Original Muse: Yes I am!

No you’re not!

Original Muse: Yes I am!

Just drop it!

Original Muse: You drop it!

Shut your trap!

Well, I’m not finished!

Original Muse: Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse: …

Yeah right!

Original Muse: I better let him finish…

It was a happy birthday with a birthday aftermath.  And with a hot potluck, there was a halfway point.  With plenty of cake and a friend visit, he shouted “hooray for Friday!” It was a Saturday Summer Palooza with a dinner at Wixom Lake.  And after a spicy dinner, there was a farewell toast.

Original Muse: Do I get a farewell Toast?

What did I tell you? I need to finish!

Original Muse: But you’ll never end!

Yes I will!

Original Muse: Whatever!

Don’t believe me?

Original Muse: I don’t believe you!

Liar!

Original Muse: But I’m telling the truth!

No you’re not!

Original Muse: Yes I am!

No you’re not!

Original Muse: Yes I am!

Just drop it!

Original Muse: I just got started!

Well, I’m not finished!

Original Muse: Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse: Yeah right!

Let me…

Original Muse: FINISH!!! Tee hee…

The next day was done quick and he was Thaiing up Thursday with a Friday tidal wave. What to do on the last week of Summer.  There was a Monday monsoon with a clean bathroom and a two-day countdown.  And after a bible study, it was Labor Day weekend writing time.

Original Muse: Time to write!

Interrupting me again?

Original Muse: Yup yup yup!

Stop stop stop!

Original Muse: No no no!

What did I tell you? I need to finish!

Original Muse: But you’ll never end!

Yes I will!

Well, I’m not finished!

Original Muse: Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse: Yeah right!

LET ME FINISH!! Really. This is getting old…

Original Muse: I’m glad it is.   Tee hee!

It was a clean room and Fuji fun.  The countdown begins with a happy birthborday.  A new toast was made to coming attractions and cooling down with a writing weekend and its sequel.  And lots of progress was made on a short Monday.

Original Muse: Short Monday?  Help! I’m trapped!

You’re trapped?

Original Muse: In this endless tribute.

But we’re almost done!

Original Muse: No! We’re a sixth done!

No. You’re over by two.

Original Muse: By two?

Interrupting me again?

Original Muse: Yup yup yup!

Stop stop stop!

Original Muse: No no no!

What did I tell you? I need to finish!

Original Muse: But you’ll never end!

Well, I’m not finished!

Original Muse: Says who?

Says me!

Original Muse: Yeah right!

LET ME FINISH!!!!!! Please! We’re almost done…

Original Muse: With this number, we are! Tee hee…

It was a day that I still never forget.  After that was a tired Wednesday, with work and a Toastmasters meeting.  Then was a Young Adult Night with writing time and a little housekeeping.  He had a good case of the Monday’s.  Then he opened up and said AHHHHHHHH!!!!!  And after a super early meeting, he entered the Tower of Muses again for the nineteenth ascent.

Original Muse:  What’s inside?

You know what!

Original Muse:  I can’t remember!

You can’t?

Original Muse:  I’m trapped.

You’re trapped?

Original Muse:  In this endless tribute.

But we’re almost done!

Original Muse:  No!  Two-fifths done!

Yup.  That’s right now.

Original Muse:  Right now?

Interrupting me again?

Original Muse:  Yup yup yup!

Stop stop stop!

Original Muse: No no no!

What did I tell you?  I need to finish!

Original Muse:  But you’ll never end!

Yes I will!

Original Muse:  Whatever!

Now we’re finished!

Original Muse: Awesome! That was great! Just like we rehearsed! Only I have this awesome new spare body that you gave me and like last year, I don’t have to worry about being a ghost anymore! Time to switch into my next costume! I’ll be right back…

And now everyone…the metamorphosis! Everyone, brace yourself for a dark and bratty Muse!

Original Muse: Hey!  I heard that!  Tee hee!

I was just kidding.  Can’t you take a joke?

Original Muse:  Yup!  I’m all changed. Are we ready, Kyle?

Ready as I’ll ever be! Get ready for part two because here it comes…

It was the Dark Side of the Muse followed by a Summer Outro.  He was starting Fall off write by upping his game.  And with a brief start, there was an early meeting tomorrow. He had hot dogs and saw his sister’s place, followed by chimichangas, crepes, and a Bible study. And the new coming attractions featured more book progress and a new section.  And after another brief update, he had a Sunday start.

Original Muse:  I like Sunday starts! Tee hee!

So do I. Moving on…

There was shopping day and a good night.  A Survivor and a recharge. A movie night, a night in, self reflection, and a Think & Write.  And with a Survivor catchup, it was Journey Group Eve, putting him just past the halfway point…

Original Muse: Halfway point of what?  The week?  Tee hee!  I love weekends!

Yes.  It was the halfway point of the week.  And I love weekends, too.  Next!

After a haircut and a Bible study, it was a wonderful weekend.  With Miso Shrimp and more groceries, he experienced SunNESday, with a Bible study in question.  It was time for Toastmasters before putting on the brakes.  And after dinner at Grandma and Grandpa’s and Friday Fellowship, he was in a writing frenzy.

Muse:  Tee hee!  It sure looks like you’re in one now!

I certainly am!  Phew! *drinks a glass of water* Ahem…

“GERSBERMS! MAH FRAVRIT MERVIE! PERT TEUR!” he exclaimed.  He gained momentum with a Tuesday mole day with the middle of the week nearing the top.  And with it finally being Friday, he was jumping into action with a brief end of weekend update.  He got his car back, complete with a Halloween checklist.

Original Muse: Oh!  I love Halloween!  Can I dress up?  Tee hee!

You’re a Dark Muse so you’re already dressed up!  Moving on…

Trick or Treat was the question.  On fumes was the answer.  After greeting the weekend, he was falling back with his mission accomplished.  He had a different Sunday with a cheeseburger in paradise.  After Election Day, he an Elder Forum, followed by the eve before Friendsgiving and Friendsgiving.

Original Muse: What holiday is Friendsgiving?  I never heard of that!  I like Thanksgiving better!  Tee hee!

It’s a pre-Thanksgiving event with friends.  And yeah.  It’s hard to beat Thanksgiving.

Original Muse:  Yup.

Time for the second half…

It was getting cold with some improvement being much better.  It was a chill evening with another quick one after a long day.  It was a snow day with solitude and a mission revolution.  A short week followed.

*sips a glass of water* Next page…

An early weekend led to Thanksgiving eve with a happy Thanksgiving.  It was shop till you drop and then we’re going to the internet!  Christmas music played before you click till you drop.  After Taco Tuesday, he was so tired with pork rinds and Survivor.

Original Muse: Pork rinds?  Yuck!  I like cookies and goldfish crackers!  Tee hee!

Well, your tastes are different since you’re a Dark Muse. Moving on…

It was time for the weekend with a change of plans before singing “O Christmas Tree” and going Christmas shopping.  And after making a Christmas Toast, this is all you get.  He was wrapping more gifts and Charlie Brown.  It’s Friday again, with Christmas memories and a Christmas party, followed by the sequel.

Original Muse: I love Christmas!  Especially when I was younger.  Tee hee!

So do I! On to the next ten…

After the third and fourth part of Christmas memories, he was wrapping up this day.  It was Kimchi Impossible with a progressive dinner and a YouTube Christmas Marathon.  And after a vanishing weekend, the Christmas countdown continued with a Christmas Toast and Christmas break eve.

Original Muse: Christmas break?  Don’t break Christmas!  Tee hee!

Don’t worry.  I won’t.  Let’s talk more later. Moving on…

He had a Christmas haircut, and I’m all about that list.  And after the true meaning of Christmas was revealed, the conductor shouted “All Aboard!” Twas the Day Before Christmas happened, and then it was a Merry Christmas.  The Christmas Aftermath followed with a holiday with Mary.  And after an extended NESday, he entered the Tower of Muses for the twentieth ascent.

Original Muse: Tee hee!  That was amazing!  And what was even more amazing was the milestone.

That’s right!  That wasn’t just any old milestone.  That was the 2000th entry!  It really was extra special and I enjoyed that ride to the top.

Original Muse:  Wasn’t it fun?  I enjoyed that ride with you, too.

Now where were we?

Original Muse: We were on the six year anniversary.  Only 192 more! We still have a whole lot…Tee hee…

I know. Are you ready?

Original Muse: I am!  Tee hee!  I’m going to go and change now!  Tee hee!

And now everyone…The next metamorphosis! Everyone, be prepared for someone truly original! It looks like she’s ready…

Original Muse: All changed!  I’m ready to go now.  Are you ready?

Absolutely. Brace yourself for part three of this epic homage to the entries of yesterday…

Original Muse:  Oh!  I’m so excited!  Let’s go!

It was ExperiMENTAL 3.0 with a Happy New Year starting off with goodNES.  It was the last NESday leading to the first cold of the year with its sequel.  The Dayquil…Nyquil… cycle was initiated with him feeling a little better.  He was almost there with a busy day ahead of him.

Original Muse: A busy day?  Don’t forget to take a break!

Don’t worry.  I won’t.  Alright then. Moving onward…

It was time for Financial Peace.  And with it being Thursday already, he began his end of week winddown.  He had an Awesome Entry Done Quick with another quick one followed by a happy Monday.  And with icing on the cake, there was extra icing and a lucky day.  And with Financial Peace being a day late, the weekend is here!

Original Muse:  Yay!  Weekends are the best!

They are!  Let’s move on…

The day was fun.  And with a shivering Sunday, it was Welcome to Siberia!  There was Toastmasters Day and the roller coaster continues after that.  It was then coasting downward to the first YAN of the Year.  He was keeping warm with the cold before the storm.  Then the snow storm cometh.

Well?

Original Muse: Brrr!  All this talk about snow is making me crave hot chocolate.  Can I make some real quick?

No.  We need to finish this tribute.  Let’s continue…

It was the cold after the storm where the roller coaster continues.  BRRR!!!!! It’s cold!  And then there was two days of the NESday weekend followed by the third part of Super Bowl Large.  It was back to the grind for another trip around the track.  Another Wednesday led to ice and rain.

Original Muse: *sips hot chocolate*  That’s better.  Can we get to some warmer weather, please?

That’s going to be a while.  We’re still in February. *sips water* Time for the next ten…

He was starting Friday off write with more progress, Sunday solace, and the calm before the next snow storm.  The storm begins again with an Adult DG and a Ramsey Course.  Happy Hallmark Day led to being Singled Out with the Feathers and Fedoras Edition.  And after a chill weekend, he went to a city.

Original Muse: Metropolis right?  I love Anime Movie Week!

Yup.  That’s Metropolis!  Moving on…

He saw an invention, an airplane, a fish, a borrower, a castle, and a bathhouse in the distance before encountering a windy weekend.  He gave the short version of the weekday summary with a super short Tuesday and a midpoint mission.

Original Muse: And that’s Wednesday, right?  Clever wording!

Thanks.  Time for another ten…

Four out of Five ain’t bad.  Because she’s back with some Saturday story progress.  The second half of the weekend happened, and Monday’s here.  And with Mardi Gras and a Toastmasters meeting, he had a Fat Tuesday hangover.  He was nearing the end.  And it’s here, once again with more writing!

Original Muse: Yes!  Ideas are good!  The more, the better.

They surely are. Only 30 more for this set…

“It’s a me, MAR10!” the plucky plumber shouted.  Then I shouted “Happy birthday, Dad!” It was Tuesday done easy, with another easy one that was easy as Pi.  The Friday filler was added with Corned Beef a day early.  And after a Lucky Day, Dayquil…Nyquil returned with the second dose and a Spring-ish Toast.

That’s it!

Original Muse: Spring-ish?  That’s not good enough.  Go away, Winter!

Don’t worry.  Winter will leave.  We’re almost done…

It was time for Spring to open up and say AHHHHHHHH!!!!!  The flavor of the week was springing into YAN with a SaturNESday funday.  And now for something different. He got a car wash, eating more chicken with the next flavor of the week.  It was time to watch a sermon, time to watch Survivor, and time for the weekend.

Original Muse: And it’s time to wrap up this set!

I’ll say!  Just 10 more and we will be done!

He did some milestone prep and had the Me & My Muse Series Finale.  He continued his blog with Me & My Music and was feeling the Melody on the first day.  He had some April toast with some odds and ends before winding down.  He ate a Friday Sushi Surprise, followed by a speech contest, Five Guys, and more writing.  And after he sung “Here Comes the Sun” he entered the Tower of Muses for the twenty-first ascent.

Original Muse: Wonderful!  Set complete!  Can I go change now?

By all means!  Go and change!  Are you ready?

Original Muse: Yeah!  This is going to be a weird one, but I’m up for it.  I’m going to change now!

Okay.  Let me know when you’re done!

Original Muse:  I will!

And now everyone…The next form! Everyone, get ready for a mysterious blonde that’s out of this world…

Zoria 50000: All ready. But you’re not.  Why do you look so much older?

It’s because you’re looking at Future Me.  That’s why.

Zoria 50000:  Future you, huh?  Okay.  That’s fine.  Are you ready, Kyle?

Yes.  I’m ready.  Brace yourself for part four of this epic homage to the entries of yesterday…

It was a long quest and very busy.  He had a frosty nightmare and an epileptic Survivor.  He was welcoming the weekend with a room clean-out and the next flavor of the week. After a Palm Sunday Respite, there was a Spring snow storm and the next flavor of the week.  After a mid-month toast, there was Autism trivia.  And being very hungry, I want a PIZZA!

Zoria 50000: So do I!  After hearing all that you have said about earth food, I want to try this pizza that you speak of.

We will surely have one later.  Let’s move on, okay?

It was a Good Friday and a well crafted day to say “Happy Easter!” He had a taste of Summer with a side of toast.  Life Group happened during the endgame.  Dream, Believe, Achieve are good things worth repeating.  It was greetings from East Lansing before he prepared the Toastmasters District 62 Spring Conference Aftermath.

Zoria 50000: Toastmasters?  Now that you mentioned it, it sounds familiar.  For some reason, I have these memories of this Muse, and her experience with Toastmasters.

Yes.  Those are my Muse’s memories alright. Moving on to the next ten…

He had week one of the Life Group and then it was Loons Baseball Time.  There was May rain with a sweet treat.  And with a Friday escape, May the Fourth be with you.  It was Cinco de Summer, with a Camry, Checkup, Enchiladas, and Life Group.  A double toast led to part two of the endgame.  Now it’s personal!

Zoria 50000: You also talked about earth entertainment with me.  That Endgame movie does sound awesome…

It was Time to move on. We still have 62…

With the Sacred Search beginning, it was time for some Yoshicraft with some arts and crafts.  “Happy Mother’s Day!” was shouted, with some speech preparation.  One year…already?  Time flies when you’re busy at a new job.  It was the last Adult DG of the year with week 2 of the Sacred Search followed by a crafty conclusion with some hide and seek.

Zoria 50000: Hide and seek?  We have a game similar to that on Zorpoz.  It’s a little bit different but a lot of fun.

Different, huh?  We’ll have to talk about that more later.  Shall we continue now?

With a Sunday storm, he bought some khaki shorts and groceries.  There was more toast before he said “I Choose You…” The Sacred Search continued with week 3 before NESmorial Day Weekend begins.  There was plenty of Saturday goodNES, with a NESday Sunday aftermath, followed by a NESmorial Day conclusion and a two-day week.

Zoria 50000:  Two days?  You’re referring to your work schedule, right?

I am. 42 more and we’ll be finished.  Let’s continue…

After a pre-flight checklist, there was a day of sorrow followed by a movie and a wedding.  It was a chill weekend before the final respite. The last life group of the year happened before the first toast in June.  And after a brief Wednesday update, he shouted “YEAH! COFFEE!” and gave a yawn of relief.

Zoria 50000:  A yawn?  I thought that relief was expressed with a sigh.

It is, but the sigh becomes a yawn when you’re tired, okay?  Time to move on.

There was dancing fever and food trucks.  Then he shouted “Happy 60th Birthday, Mom!” before sighing Monday Monday.  There was toast and pie and it was time for a barbecue.  He was back in black before another weekend begins.  And after a Saturday shower, it was a Happy Father’s Day followed by a car wash.

Zoria 50000:  You take cars?  Our modes of transport are a little different.  For just traversing the planet, we use a variation of what you would call a hovercraft.

Yes.  Cars are different than your mode of transport.  Anyway, we’re on a roll.  Let’s keep going…

There was a white flight and a gathering at the park.  It was wet and weary before Friday: the Summer Edition.  And after Toy Story 4 and its encore, a monsoon happened.  It was a chill Tuesday with a happy hour while he turned up the heat…

Zoria 50000:  How hot?  My gills allow me to withstand extremely high temperatures!

By that standard, we’re not talking too much heat here.  Only about 88 degrees.  Time for the next ten…

It was a Friday Flush with a summer post done quick with plenty of summer leftovers done quick afterward.  And after Fiscal New Year’s Day, he had a short week where he went up north for the Fourth and exclaimed “Happy Independence Day!” and “Greetings from Hubbard Lake!”  He was then back home for the end of the long weekend.

Zoria 50000:  That long weekend was a lot of fun.

It certainly was.  Just two more and we’re done!

At the beginning of the work week, there was no doubting with Me & My Muse at six years and counting.

Original Muse: Yay! We did it! As challenging as it was to play Zorpozian Muse, it was a whole lot of fun…The other forms were enjoyable too…

I know. And that performance was amazing. Anyway, that’s the tribute for this year.

Original Muse: I’m still beyond words. I had no idea that I was going to get a spare body. And then, we pulled off that flawless performance. Mermaid Muse, Dark Muse, Original Muse, and Zorpozian Muse. Changing into all those forms was a lot of fun.

I imagine. There were so many costume changes…

Original Muse: Yeah. It was quite the workout.  Form after form after form after form!  That was hard!

But we pulled it off, and now you have a new spare body. Happy six-year anniversary!

Original Muse: You know, our relationship goes beyond Me & My Muse. Beyond these 2192 entries.

Indeed it does. I first started to talk about you in a couple of Think & Writes.

Original Muse: Ah. But our relationship goes beyond that even. Actually, a really long time…

It does. When I first felt creativity inside of me, that was you, right?

Original Muse: It was. All the way back when you were in fourth grade. You wrote The Brick Building. Now granted I was there before that, but I was too young to nurture my own ideas. And you heard it from me first. It was back then when I first started to have a crush on you.

25 years? You’ve had a crush on me for 25 years? And to be honest, I think that you were with me before I even started writing.

Original Muse: You’re right. I was there when you made up all those games when you were little. Where did you get the ideas? That was me. Hee hee! But I first started paying more attention to you when I was ten…

I agree. You and I go way back. All the way back to when my imagination first started taking form…

Original Muse: You were just a baby…

But aren’t we all? That’s where imagination starts. But when adulthood happens, a lot of that is lost…

Original Muse: You’re the lucky one. You still have me. And your imagination is never going to die. I’ll be sure of it!

Here’s to six years of these, right?

Original Muse: To six years, and many more! You started with something ExperiMENTAL, but look at where we are now!

I know…

*kisses Original Muse on the lips*

I still love the daily format. That is not changing. For shorter or longer, it’s staying the same.

Original Muse: I’m going to enjoy my new spare body. Come to my house when you’re ready…

You want me to pin you to the floor with a bunch of kisses, right?

Original Muse: *gives me a kiss on the lips* Yeah. *chuckles* See you around…

So there you have it. Six years of this experiment. An experiment where I said that if it doesn’t work, you will never see one of these again. 2192 of them later, I believe that they’re here to stay. This is an experiment that I have no regrets in starting at all. But before I continue, some ground rules.

In very much the same fashion as last year, I’m retiring rant posts forever. If there is ever any reason why I should be angry, it should not be expressed here. I want this blog to be a resource to everyone, and full of positive posts. If I am ever having a rough day, I will let you know, but I won’t express my negative feelings on this site anymore. None of you want to read that and I feel like it doesn’t do anything constructive. If it must go somewhere, it should be in a private journal, where the only reader is me, and not all of you.

My Muse is here to stay. If for some reason you still don’t like my Muse, there are plenty of other websites to go to, besides this one. My Muse is an expression of my inner longing for a significant other and my seamstress of creativity.

The high for today is going to be 84 degrees and the silver lining is celebrating six years of this experiment.

To all who had the patience to read this, I congratulate you.

Now if you would excuse me.  I need to go and talk to my Muse…in private
