It may not be Halloween yet, but I have the perfect opportunity to try out my costume early.  In looking at tonight’s events, I will be going to a costume party as none other than Mario!

The costume party starts at 7:00, so there will be plenty of time to get ready.

 

Muse:  Point of order!

On what grounds?  State your business and your reason for making this motion.

Muse:  Seeing as you are going to a very fun costume party tonight, I feel it not right to proceed on with the story arc tonight.

Is that all?  If the costume party means so much to you, then there will be no further progression in the story arc until further notice.  No second motion is required as all decisions made by me in this respective story universe are final and irrevocable by any second party.

Muse:  In other words,  Committees are not necessary in this story universe, as you ARE the committee!

Correct.  My authority in this story universe is no different than the kind of absolute authority a king would have in his own kingdom.

Muse:  Do the others know?

Oh, right!  Everyone!  The story arc is suspended until further notice!  Do be on the lookout when I resume it!

Gabrielle:  Suspended?  Thanks for the notice!  With no story arc to worry about, I think I will go to that costume party tonight…

And you’ll be going as yourself?  I’m sure that you’ll make a perfect angel…

???: While you all can see me, No one else can until the appointed time.  I have a part to play, and I want to see to it that I play it well.  Every one of you can go and enjoy that costume party.  I am going to spend the evening studying my lines.

Are you sure?  You’re not going to spend it in leisure?

???:  Absolutely not!  This part of mine is very important, and I do take it seriously.  Sometimes a little too seriously.  Heh heh heh heh heh…

I guess that it a little too serious.  Try to take a breather tonight, okay?

???:  Worry not about my relaxation.  A couple of artfully prepared slices of brie and parmesan await me with a tall bottle of champagne should I nail my lines correctly.  Good evening to you all!

*the mysterious figure vanishes in a cloud of smoke*

Muse:  You’re going to unsuspend it tomorrow then?

Yes.

Dark Muse:  Wait!  Wait!  You suspended it?

That’s what I said.

Dark Muse:  Yay!  I’m not worried about my lines since I have a part to play later.  Tee hee!  I have a wonderful costume that I prepared for tonight!  It’s going to be amazing!  Tee hee!

Muse:  I would imagine!  Now if you would excuse me, I’m going to prepare my costume.  It will be quite “heavenly”!

Remedy:  So you suspended it?  That’s good to hear.  I don’t come in until late in the arc.  Which is actually earlier, since we want this wrapped up before Thanksgiving, right?

Right.  It’s nice to have a resolved arc before all of the holidays begin.

Nurture:  That’s just splendid!  I think that I’m a little bit later, but I’ll be ready for that part for sure!

Remedy:  So there’s a costume party tonight, huh?  I’m thinking of going as Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde.  This is something that I can definitely pull off, since an Intangible can transform between two different costumes…

Nurture:  I’m thinking of being an undead nurse.

Remedy:  Oh!  So you’re going now?

Nurture:  Yes.  I changed my mind from earlier.  I actually want to go now.

Well, I need to get ready for my costume as well.  You all enjoy the night off.

Everyone:  We will!

Dark Muse:  Let’s go change into our costumes!

Muse:  Okay!  Tonight’s going to be fun.  Tee hee…

*everyone leaves set to prepare their costumes for tonight*

Well, that was a change of events.  I guess I don’t have to get into my angry role.  This story arc has been a fun act, but that will surely resume tomorrow.  Time to get ready for tonight.

Today’s high is going to be 48 degrees and the silver lining is going to tonight’s costume party.

Muse:  I forgot to clean my halo from last year.  There.  All clean for tonight!

Dark Muse:  Well…There.  I’m in my costume!  Tee hee!  How do I look?

Muse:  You’re in a yellow…hmm…what is that?  It looks like a yellow mini-skirt, or is it overalls?  Who are you supposed to be?

Dark Muse:  Selphie Tilmitt from Final Fantasy VIII!  You know…Nunchaku?  Short wavy hair curling on both sides?

Muse:  I don’t think I played that one.  For me, I kind of play video games more casually…

Dark Muse:  Not me!  Tee hee!  I love Final Fantasy and Selphie is my favorite character!  My costume is 100% her and matches everything perfectly!  I am missing one thing.  My face needs a little makeup…Tee hee….

Muse:  Okay.  My wings look okay.  What do you think?

Dark Muse:  Booyaka!  They look fine!

Muse:  Booyaka?

Dark Muse:  That’s Selphie’s favorite catchphrase!  And tonight, I want to take a costume party “Selphie”!

Muse:  Ah!  Because you’re Selphie!  I get it!

Dark Muse:  Tee hee!  Time for the makeup!
