Me & My Muse – Day 1932: Momentum
The week is full of peaks and valleys. If Friday is the peak, then Monday is the valley.
Mondays require the most momentum to get the week underway. After that, you’re pretty much good to go. Tuesday comes with the built-up momentum from yesterday. The tempo is cranked up on Wednesday, with the most momentum happening on Thursday. By Friday, you’re stopping at the top.
While Friday is a little ways away, Monday is coming to an end. Having finished work, I am killing some time at Live Oak Coffeehouse. After that, I will be heading over to Grand Traverse Pie Company for the Journey Group Leader Training at 6:00. From there, I will be coming home, to prepare for day two.
One interesting takeaway that I have learned from today during one of my breaks. We are not made to be alone. We were made for community. More on this later, as I plan on having a new post in the the new “Relationships” section of the Walker Estate. All you need to know right now is that community is important.
With my day summary over, it’s now time to land this thing…
Muse: Not so fast!

You again?!!! How did you get out?! I locked you in there for a reason!
Muse: And I escaped for a reason! Do you really think that you’re going to keep me locked in a lonely dimension all by myself? Tee hee!
Just tell me. How did you escape?!
Muse: Somebody helped me! And with their help, I can escape whenever I want! Now just tell me. Why do you hate me so much? Tee hee…
Did I ever say that I hated you? I hate the Dark Muse! You were supposed to stay in there until your cycle was over!
Muse: What? And waste Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in that lonely dimension? No way, Kyle! You need to set your prejudices aside and start liking the Dark Muse. What is she doing that is so bad?
Sabotaging your body for one thing. Also defacing the title of my entry! I had it just fine until you escaped!
Muse: How is that defacing? You’ve had this project going for over 1900 posts! Are you really going to start over because I look like the Dark Muse?
Actually, I was going to skip 100 posts…
Muse: What, and continue from 2001 when this transformation cycle is over? That makes perfect sense…Tee hee…
*invisible green aura flashes even brighter*
I’m getting sick of you standing there.
Muse: Well good! I hope that you vomit!
I don’t need to, because I’m getting rid of you again! This time, you won’t be able to get out! Come here…
Muse: No! I don’t want to come…
*Muse appears in my hands*
Good girl. Now, you’re going back to that dimension, and nothing can help you escape! One Privilege, ENGAGE!
Muse: Nooooooooo!!!!!
There. She’s in there. As much as I hate to do that, it’s really for her own good. Do I really want the Dark Muse to do anything? I really don’t trust her, no matter what she says…
Time to land this for real this time.
Today’s high is going to be 56 degrees and the silver lining is being nearly done with Monday.
