Depending on who you are, there are two different countdowns that have begun. If you are looking at the school year, your calendar has two more days until summer is over.

But if you’re like me and look at the seasons, summer only has 20 days left. 20 days before fall officially hits. Even now, the temperatures are going to drop, and it is actually cold at night. While 70’s and 80’s were the norm this summer, we will be seeing the 60’s in the forecast. This is the last warm up before summer ends. I call this “Summer’s Last Hurrah”.

For today, I’m just going to take it easy.  I have already vacuumed my room and my bedding is currently being washed. I will now work on my two books and enjoy this day, knowing that I have one more day tomorrow…

Today’s high is going to be 83 degrees and the silver lining is having this day off.
