Me & My Muse – Day 1862: Birthday Aftermath

With my birthday over, it is now time to relax and take it easy today. Before we do that, I would like to recap on what I did for my birthday. Yesterday and last night in particular.

First all, the morning.  I went to church.  Both my parents and grandparents joined me.  After that, I came home.

After I got home, I typed the beginning of my story that I’m working on.  I basically started the introduction.  My parents then had me and my brother open our cards.  We both got a gift card to the Cottage Creamery.

Next of all, the dinner. I had dinner at Ghengis Khan Mongolian Barbeque with my parents and grandparents.  I made three dishes.  The first one was buffalo chicken and shrimp.  I then had some hot and sour soup.  My second dish was spicy barbeque seafood.  The last dish was teriyaki ginger meat and other Asian staples, like tofu, mushrooms, baby corn and noodles.  I got a brownie covered in whipped cream for my free dessert. Overall, the dinner was amazing.

After the dinner came the cake and ice cream. The cake was a chocolate cake with buttermilk chocolate frosting from Meijer. After my family and grandparents sang “Happy Birthday to You”, I blew out the candle with my brother, and we all ate cake and ice cream. I had a scoop of chocolate truffle and two scoops of vanilla.

Overall, my birthday was fun…

Time to end this now.  I will be enjoy my day, attending church and getting some shopping done afterward.  I will then enjoy the remainder of my day after that.

Today’s high is going to be 85 degrees and the silver lining is being able to relax today.

To those of you who like relaxing after your birthday, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  I hope you enjoyed your birthday, Kyle.  I know I did.  Thanks for the presents!  I hope you liked mine!
