Me & My Muse – Day 1673: Snow Day Aftermath

From all the snow that we got yesterday, work was a little busier than usual for a Monday.  It was pretty manageable in spite of that.  All the people that were tired from shoveling snow were guaranteed food that was hot and ready, and that is definitely something to smile about.

For today, I’m kind of tired.  I just finished paying a bill and all my finances are in order.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention.  I helped get a car unstuck this morning.  This car was trying to turn into the Grounds drive-thru (a coffee place right next to our store, but it’s permanently closed now).  The guy who owned the neighboring business next door got my attention, and I helped him with one other person.  The three of us got the woman’s car back onto Saginaw Road and she was on her way.  That felt good to pitch in.  Getting stuck isn’t fun, and I would be very grateful too if I was that woman.

Anyway, I’m going to get ready to tomorrow and take a breather.

My Muse is six and a half years old today. She is 3’0.5″ tall and she weighs 35 pounds. The height of a three year old and the weight of a four year old.

Today’s high is going to be 19 degrees and the silver lining is being already finished with Monday.

To those of you who are tired of the snow, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  Mom, my homework’s done!  Can I go outside and build a snowman now?

Nurture:  Go ahead, honey!

Muse:  Okay!  I’ll build the biggest and best snowman just for you!
