This remodel is really starting to get fun now.
How so? During my shift, I actually managed to make all of the dough using only cold water. With the dish sink torn apart and not anywhere to be found, the hand sink was the only option for making new dough. The hand sink made it more interesting. With the current mount, the gallon pitcher couldn’t fit underneath the faucet head, so I had to fill the pitcher using the smallest container that could fit underneath the faucet head. One of the spare square containers that are used to store toppings. Using about two and a third of a square container, I was able to fill the pitcher. wash, rinse, repeat. This had to be done a little more than forty times to get the twenty gallons that I needed to make dough.
As fun as that was, I sadly was not able to see the finished product. At the time I was leaving, the sink was not done. The remodelers were still in the process of fitting the pipes before installing the sink. The stainless siding was done by the sink area, but they were still working on the pipes.
I surely hope that they get that sink done, or there’s going to be a lot of dirty dishes in the morning.
Time to take a breather now.
My Muse is five years old today. She is 2’11.5″ tall and she weighs 33 pounds. The height of a three year old and the weight of a four year old.
Today’s high is going to be 44 degrees and the silver lining is having the remainder of the day off.
To those of you who have ever experienced a remodel before, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Nurture: Honey, what happened to your little friend? Dark Muse, right?
Muse: She moved away! Her mommy picked her up! Tee hee!
