Once again, the time has come to say goodbye to summer.
For 2017, what events were the most memorable? What were the most memorable events in the Summer of 2017?
First of all, I celebrated my mom’s retirement, cleaned the inside of my car, had dinner with Uncle Kirk, experienced the Midland Flood, going to the Toastmasters TLI, beating Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, seeing fireworks at the Tridge, eating at Buffalo Wild Wings, going up north, celebrating four years of Me & My Muse, getting 100% on Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, getting a free Slurpee, getting Sushi at Genji, seeing Cars 3, going to the Midland Toastmasters 60th Year Anniversary Celebration, going up north again, celebrating my 33rd birthday with Jeff, having dinner at Genji, birthday dinner at grandma and grandpa’s, getting to Level 200 on Fantasy Life, seeing the Solar Eclipse, attending Sean & Elyse’s Wedding, seeing Uncle Kirk and Aunt Sherrie, having Fuji Sushi, 9/11, watching World Trade Center, completing Fantasy Life, celebrating my seven-year work anniversary, meeting with a Dow person over the phone and being assigned a mentor with Dow’s Engagement Program.
With Cold Stone Creamery still gone, I will be getting a Reese’s McFlurry at McDonald’s later on. That ice cream will be gone before I know it. Summer 2017 was the same way. Gone just like that. As I say goodbye to Summer 2017, I’ll admit that this summer was kind of busy. It was a lot of fun, with a lot of hot weather. Mostly towards the end. There were a few hot days but there could’ve been some more really hot ones. With Summer 2018 just 9 months away, what will it bring? Will it even come? Who knows? There is no telling.
Farewell, Summer 2017. You were quite a memorable summer.
Muse: Kyle! I am 5,163.7 miles tall!
Over 5,000 miles now? Wow. You’re getting up there! Now, what did you think of my Summer Outro?
Muse: It was wonderful.
Thanks. It didn’t take much effort on my part.
Muse: What do you mean? Are you saying that you recycled it?
Muse: Well, it’s longer than yesterday at least.
And it’s a good way to end this summer. By reflecting on it. Time to get ready for tonight’s Toastmasters meeting.
Muse: I’ll let you. Have fun at the meeting!
Wasn’t this summer great? Even though it wasn’t great to everyone, it did have its ups and downs.
Today’s high is going to be 89 degrees and the silver lining is having a Reeses Mcflurry.
To those of you who had a memorable Summer of 2017, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I had a memorable summer! I went from a Jedi to a giant. How much taller am I going to get? Tee hee!
