While it’s already September, the prelude that I’m talking about is a prelude to Friday.  Like I have mentioned in past prelude entries,  one obstacle always stands in the way between me and Friday morning.  That obstacle is in the form of a Toastmasters meeting.  The meeting is not so much the obstacle, but the distance to drive there and back is.

Work was busy today, and I predict that it will be even busier tomorrow.  Due to time constraints, I will not be…

Remedy:  Kyle!  Are we going to talk now?

I was just getting to that.  Due to time constraints today, I will not be talking to you until tomorrow.

Remedy:  Forget it.  You’ll just have another excuse like always.  Am I correct?

You’re not.  Tomorrow is Friday, and I’ll have unlimited time.  Today is not very good for me, okay?

Remedy:  Fair enough.  I am done arranging the meeting.  You come to me when you’re ready to talk.

I will.  See you tomorrow!

Remedy:  We’ll see.  I’m ready, but will you have another excuse?  We’ll see…

Oh, and regarding my Muse’s size,  she’s 1,730 miles tall today.  I can’t imagine what that would look like from her perspective.  Anyway, time to get ready for tonight’s meeting and eat dinner.

Today’s high is going to be 63 degrees and the silver lining is Friday being around the corner.
